I couldn't find it at his site just a link that looked like it was talking about upcoming releases along with Guyer.

I like Ramothith and I don't think its dated at all. I mean I think Gregole, Vamore and Ramothith are sort of the holy trinity of Zoanoids and I think some Zoanoids look a little outlandish. Not in a bad way, just that there's something kinda pure and simple about the earlier designs.

Ha and I just finally realized something. All this time I thought Guyot and Valcuria were last seen crossing a Cloud Gate fence and me wondering just what ace up their sleeve do they have. LOL, they seem to crossing the fencing around Odagiri's lab thus they're returning to the place they had already raided. Though it's still mystery just what they could possibly be after unless its just to throw down the glove or something. And it certainly isn't old footage since Valcuria only transformed outside the mansion and right next to it and not at the fence.
-
The big mysterys I want to know are the fate of Agito and Shizu as well as just what Guyot and Valcuria are up to now. Since I now got my money on Imakarum being Apollyon.

Well Amazon Japan had it. Came in only a few days.

So Agito then? Chronos' control doesn't reach Agito's rebel unit? No, yet again it could refer to the Rogues.
-
No I'm quite sure that's Agito's base. Second guess is the Rogue's but that mountain looks too ordinary to be their's. Also was it one or two chapters that the Segawas were wandering around?

I think the data file on Ramoith said it was the most popular Zoanoid and I'm not sure if that was among Chronos warriors or post X-Day. I got to wonder why it is so liked. I mean I think it pops up more in the background than Gregoles, Takaya sure likes it at least. Is it the bat-bear look or the common purple fur? I hope this topic isn't too petty. Design wise I got a soft spot for Broize.

While I don't think Nolan would be the best for Guyver he'd be way better than Jackson I think who in turn would be way better than Michael Bay I admit. I mean while Nolan's films are dark there is quite a bit a spark of optimism with the closing of the trilogy, at least in my opinion without giving spoilers. Bay would have thirty minutes of annoying Sho and Tetsuro hijinks, Zoanoid and Guyver, thirty minutes more of stupid, a little action, stupid, then finally some real action mixed with stupid. Though he would give Valcuria plenty of screentime...too much actually now that I think of it.

Oh and I'm putting my money on Appollyon being Imakarum now that I've read through book 17 again. It's funny not only is the Guyot raid longer but the flashback/after action chatting is a lot sorter than I recall. I expected half the book to be Aso and Shin talking about past events, better book than I expected. Though naturally the next book will start up with Testuro and Mizuki talking about the Creators...again. Ah well I'm sure book 30 will have the big reveal at last.

Hm the fight with between Griselda and Guyot's forces seems bigger in book format than issue. Sure seemed like it was smaller from memory. Gah can't wait to get back to Valcuria and Guyot's raid!

For me I consider chapter 10 kind of significant, it feels like the first true two parter of a sort. I mean yeah various threads are always continuing through out the more episodic parts but issue ten is special to me. Number one is it is the first time Takaya spends a whole issue setting up a battle and thus the following entire issue can be dedicated to that fight. I mean a lot of the fights before were kind of quick and sloppy. Takaya does seems to like shorter fights that was filled out with a bit of talking but he doesn't have that trick down with certainly the Zerebuth fight or Guyver II. Also 10 is where the series feels much more like a serial or a weaving story line or at least the first drops of it. And show was certainly quite into using the Pressure Cannon in this book wasn't he? He uses it thrice I think. Funny considering I don't think he's used the Gigantic's Pressure Cannon ever and Agito becomes the big user of that trick. Anyway it STILL feels weird that Somlum was killed in a different fight because I saw the Lost Numbers episode of the OVA first and I'm still bummed out at how the Lost Number battle went in the new anime. I guess I'm talking too much about 11 though. Love the Pressure Cannon though it seems more like a beam kinda in its first use but it looks like Takaya got it right the following issue what with big holes getting blown out of the mook, along with his head. I'm torn on whether I like the blades or the cannon more, love the shotgun effect.

Sorry. I could have sworn I was chewed out once for bringing an old topic back. Or was that the OTHER Guyver board?

Aether's chapter by chapter observations have me thinking and we've had a few talks about the last two chapters of book 1 and such. I never before really considered too much about how if Guyver didn't catch on. So was Guyver III supposed to be a big mystery or were we always supposed to figure it was Agito? I mean I really don't think there was much mystery. I mean I sort of wondered who was Guyver III when I watched the OVA series, which was when I had only seen the two live action movies. Then I went 'oh of course!' around the fourth or fifth episode. Was he supposed to be Agito or very much somebody we had never met and Agito was going to go the Zeus Thunderbolt route sooner rather than later? I mean if Guyver III was going to be someone in the cast then it could only have been...Agito. Unless it reshaped itself dynamically around Natsuki's form. So either he was super obvious or someone we would never met I have to conclude then Takaya decided to make them one and the same, that's what I think. Glad the 'mystery' only sloshed forward for about nine chapters, I like how the anime series didn't keep it hidden too long.

I like cues.

Seems right so far. Though I think the first time Agito used the Pressure Cannon was book 3 and against Zex-tole. Gigantics Guyver. Powers first used in book 10 include: big head beam, shield, Gigasmasher, vibration blade, smaller head beam, sonics, power punch. Yeah just about every power except for Gravity Ram (book 23 or 24 to get into Cloud Gate while Khan was nearly finished forming) and Pressure Cannon which...geez I'm not sure he ever has used that actually! Though Agito more than makes up for it since he's pretty wild about it, especially the last book and Sho's XD had the Gravity Implosion which is kinda like a Pressure Cannon but tuned up a million times. Gigantic Dark. First book 13, that alone he used Pressure Cannon, Gigasmasher, Head Beam, shield, sonics, jused about everything (vibration whips book 14 sobasics all done already) but Gravity Ram, Power Punch (might have been most recent book) and I think that's it.

Ah those are nice page additions, got my wish of expanding the Valcuria vs. Shizu battle but I was hoping for a page showing Aptom saving Natsuki. That is interesting that Shizu's ears are strong enough to repel pressure cannon blasts but aren't quite durable enough to withstand vibration blades.
-
Another note: been skimming through the volumes from the start. I'm such a dweeb I like to try to keep track of when each Guyver first uses a power. I think in this chapter this is the first time we see Guyver III use an actual power, well aside from super strength, as well as his first, shown, use of the head beam. Chapter 9 will also be the first time Agito uses his sword and the second time they're even used period between the two Guyvers.
-
Afraid I did because it looked like it'd arrive much faster than all the other places I've gone too since Asuga books closed up. Usually they take like a month and a half to get here but I got estimates for about the 25th-26.
-
Guyver III seems awfully shy and coy for Guyver III.
-
I'm certainly curious because there's very little doujinshi of Guyver.
-
Oooh that was painful...but it will be worth it.
-
Aether=TC, topic creator. I was too lazy to go back and double check his name.
-
Hey here's an observation I noticed for the very first chapter I don't think TC noted. In the Viz adaption after Malmot blew himself up a trooper says that Gregole lost the ability to transform...even though he is unscathed. I guess it was an attempt to link up with the OVA series which has the Zoanoid go berserk after losing an eye.

Any other websites you guys suggest buying from or should I wait for the first one suggested?
