Guyver December 2012
Oh wow Natsuki is in college but that does make sense. I guess Barcus was a little flabbergasted at Guyot working with a Guyver, even if it is Valcuria. A part of me hopes she is part of something bigger or knows something. I like Aso's note of how noisy it is with roomates after living alone. Still I'm surprised no one in Chronos has identified her and gone after her. Sorry about earlier I was rude. Thanks Durendel.

Guyver December 2012
I'm fine with story issues. If it's all action it turns into the prequel Star Wars movies, action means nothing if thre is no story. Hope a translation can come soon.

Guyver December 2012
How the heck is Natsuki able to move around anyway? It's not like how it was in book 9.

Guyver December 2012
I never noticed that Guyver II is beat up so that would assume she is still alive and that is after the battle. What is odd is that she didn't change back since it seemed like she was on the verge of getting eaten. If she did change back then her injuries were wiped away.

Guyver December 2012
Oh wow so this snuck up on me. Hm from their reactiosn maybe I'm wrong about Valcuria being alive or at least so clear cute but I'm amusing that's them leaving since I got the impression Valcuria first moved onto the field THEN transformed. Sure hope she's still alive. I like that Natsuki seems to be giving some comic relief since she's kind of cutesy while everyone else is grim. Wonder what she's got Aso annoyed about.

Character ages and birthdays
The anime gave ages in this data booklets but in the second volume the Lost Number pretending to be Mizuki went along with Sho's bluff and said 'yep, today I am seventeen' and that she was born in December. So it my faulty to think that just because the anime and manga are the same everyone else must be.

Character ages and birthdays
I thought when the manga started show was 17, Mizuki 16 and Tetsuro and Agito were 18?

Naming of Chronos' bases
Not a clue except I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Babel in there somewhere.

How do you prefer the Sonic Busters?
Let's see...'clean' examples... -Pretty much every time they were used in the Anime. -Every time they are used on Enyzme III (first battle and Valcuria's battle) -Can't really count Gigantic Dark using them on a tower since that was inannimate but Guyver 0 used them on a bunch of Zoanoids.

How do you prefer the Sonic Busters?
I might be remembering wrong but it seemed like with their first few uses if the sonics were used on a living creature it became a bloody death. Then at some point it became a clean dissolving death so to speak. I kind of prefer the nasty bloody death to be honest even though every other Guyver weapon can be very messy.

Guyver November 2012
I like Shizu she's a girly girl but an action girl. Shows that a woman can be gentle and wear dresses and not have to be loud and rude all the time.

Guyver November 2012
Yeah I'm wondering if she'll get one last fight that'll be like Murakami's was going to be or a quiet death.

Guyver manga observations - chapters 12
I like Broize and Gorvilba even if they were just typical strength based Zoanoids with no super powers. They were seemingly the next step for Gregole and Ramothith it sounds like but it seems like they weren't easy to reproduce. Though Gorvilba does show up again in book 9 unlike Broize. Maybe it's the design I like all those lines and rough texture, colors and he sort of reminds me of Marvel's Abomination. Too bad we don't even get to see his death.

Yes thank you Durendel. I forget to be thankful with these chapters.

Can't Unsee It
Well yeah except this 'smile' is in battle form and its during a time one shouldn't look like they have a smile on their face.

Can't Unsee It
I noticed around his 'mouth' part there's a line curving upward highlighted with red. From the side it kind of looks like he's got a creepy grin and since I can't unsee I thought I'd share the pain.

Guyver November 2012
If Agito was really out to kill Sho then I think they've reached a truce since if Guyot is alive he could have the Remover. If it was just a 'test' all along then who can say if there is forgiveness on both sides truly. Though I'd think Agito bringing Hayami and the rest along isn't a bad sign per se.

Can't Unsee It
I only just noticed this with Aptoms sixth form while browsing book 29.

Guyver manga observations - chapters 12
I was sad this wasn't adapted to the anime. Let's see how many times have these people been captured so far? Tetsuro: 2 though do we got issue 2 as three? Mizuki: First time they got her to the base, Zerebuth picking her up could be the second. Dad: First. I don't think they're captured again until the 29th book. Murakami shows there is a LOT more to him than he appears. I really like Zoanoid Broize too. The pacing about this issue always seems a little weird or at least the first part. What happened after Sho and Murakami got back from the fight with Aptom? Did Murakami say 'go meet those guys but kick their asses' and Sho divided from the plan because he thought it was a bad idea? Or did Murakami go to get some stuff and then Sho was contacted and Murakami was able to find his way back, a missed hint that he can detect Zoanoids? It always seemed weird the way he busted in suddenly because I just wasn't sure what happened after the fight.

Guyver manga observations - chapter 11
Alright this was a neat fight. I thought it had a nice combo of melee which I admit I kind of wish there were a few more punches and kicks in Guyver. I really like how Aptom kicks Sho several times, especially that one in the air. Second time Sho uses the vibration blade and first use of his sonic busters and for the entire book I don't think anyone used the Megasmasher. First sign that Murakami is more than he seems too.
- guyver movie has to be remade

Guyver November 2012
So have we figured out why Agito confronted Sho? Was he really trying to kill him or to teach him a lesson or has the threat of Guyot forced them into a truce?

Guyver November 2012
Sorry to keep posting but I noticed something on page 12 panel 2, Zeus Thunderbolt has a grave for Hayami! I'm surprised unless Shizu was the one who wanted a token grave for him.

Guyver manga observations - chapters 8, 9,10
Also this is the first time Agito uses his swords. Did I mention that already? I dunno I skimmed my post. I did just realized something about the OVA: even though the head beam was introduced in the third chapter Sho's only powers are that I think he's using the blades and Megasmasher. Just kind of interesting seeing stuff from three chapters and nods to other chapters (mostly in vague monster designs). Heck I'd like to see Takaya cannonize the ship base since he's added Valcuria. Heck I do wonder just what got Guyver an OVA in the first place, I mean who would bank even a 45 minute OVA on a just debuted manga that didn't get anything short of One Piece popularity?

Guyver November 2012
Oh there it is on the side. I was looking at Unit G. Whoa! We haven't seen glasses guy since book 14! Ah this looks like a fulfilling chapter since we finally see what happened once Sho gets back along with the fates of a few others. Still I want to know what happened at the end of their fight. Thanks loads! One chapter that I look forward to a translation of after numerous flashbacks. Flashbacks being 'this is what happened' this chapter had a flashback I liked. I love it when Sho gets angry. I'm curious if there will be a Valcuria and Shizu rivalry though I would like to see her fight Sho at some point. I'm not a big fan of these designated girl fights when everyone else is a male BUT it would help Shizu out.
