it's looking great I think the colours are perfect. here is my final design with textures. I'm not comfortable with bold texture so these are subtle. I think they do the job.

Glad it's suitable. in that case it can be considered a finished design. unless you want some texture on it or anything.

ok here is stage 2. Is this the sort of thing you're after? what needs to change before we can consider it a final design? (the jpg compression on this is awful. I hate this forum software) edit: added as png file.

I just love this part yeah it is an interesting thought. we do not see the zoalords with any apparent interest in women, but then it is largely military. The cronos combatants do not exhibit any particular interest in women, not that we have necessarily seen the appropriate situation... but the gregole we saw in post x-day chapter, certainly seemed to be interested in impressing the ladies. should we assume the zoalords are frigid or should we assume they merely don't get the opportunity? another interesting thing to consider is if the zoalords could be considered lost numbers. i mean, are they sterile? they have obviously undergone extreme processing and this kind of thing surely effects their hormones. guyot had increased strength in human form so it seems there are some changes to their human form despite what i suggested earlier. so their hormones could be altered in human form. hundreds of years is a long time to go without companionship... but they don't appear to be vulnerable in that way. thinking about it... when a person becomes a eunuch, their sex drive is reduced, isn't it? perhaps the zoalords are technically eunuch's? I mean, perhaps they have the right parts... but maybe we have something that is almost like what happens to transgender people? It seems either the oestrogen or the lack of testosterone, makes everything reduced in it's grandness.

it was released by TVN! oh, it seems like... 6 days actually isn't it? that's good going actually, and they did such a good job! what did I think of it.... I don't see anything quite as cool as gobusters yet... except for the whole tag team with his mecha!!! how cool was that? Also, I kinda saw it coming that they would hide their identity. I think it was the way they arrived fully suited up. it's interesting. they really sort of rushed the whole introduction to who they are and their abilities. it was sort of like hello, you can fight monsters, here is a gun, i'm a deity, let's fight together. BAM. I wonder what this means for the rest of the series. is it an indication that the character development is more important? or is it an indication that they want to forget about backdrop and get straight to the action? well the characters look like they could be pretty interesting. There is plenty of opportunity for them to learn about each other since they are complete strangers.

yes you are right of course. but then... I think most of us assumed that was an artistic choice to maintain this as a shonen manga. but you are correct of course. taking it literally we would be more accurate to assume no genitals. I can't argue with that

I respect your reasoning, but I am just thinking in terms of what we have been shown so far. I mean out of everything we have seen, it doesn't make sense to me for something like that to be true, when we have not been given any indication of it. Also, we see that Archanfel has navel. and hair. We haven't seen any instances of things that are 'not needed' being removed from the human form. all instances of processing show an altered form and the original human form. hence why Aptom still has his scar. right? I mean... i don't think it makes sense to assume that, when we haven't been shown anything that suggests it? Unless we have, and i'm forgetting?

I worry about this because we are all part of the universe. my consciousness being a manifestation of the universe, in a localised form... I have love for the the whole thing. It's an existential dilemma more than a practical one.

if the fight were more evenly matched, the story would be different. the fight seems to be intended to show that Shou is indeed a better fighter than Agito due to his focus on defence and protection rather than offence. It seems Shou's approach is to be like water. (kinda makes me think about his chosen colour for his guyver) I also don't think it is unreasonable that Shou would be stronger than Agito. He has more combat experience than Agito. Most of Agito's combat experience includes sneak attacks and running away. Shou usually has balls to the wall action. He doesn't run because he is usually protecting something and would not be able to protect anything if he fled. In a way, Agito was pretty stupid to confront him. He should know that Shou has had all that experience.

quick question. were the elfin kits original work or were they a line of recast kits? I should probably know this.

the term lost number refers to a zoanoid that is lost to future generations. remember that the plan was to take successive generations into space. therefore a zoanoid who is sterile is useless. after all, why would they be butthurt about a zoanoid that was merely unique? surely they would prize that one above others? not shun it. like hypers. anyway, the human form of a zoanoid is generally unchanged. we see all aspects of them the same as previous. it doesn't make any sense to think their genitals shrunk into a blank spot. whether they be lost number, normal zoanoid, hyper, or even zoalord. just sayin'. oh yeah, archanfel has pointy ears... so i think the best we could assume is a change of his jewels into more pointy jewels.

this is stage 1. so please give as much critique as you can. if I go further and start working on details etc, it will be more difficult to adjust. The general shape of it. I am thinking there could be some adjustment of the shape around the letter E. I'm also wondering if the left side of the V is ok. it could be good as it is, sort of has attitude, but then it may not work for the overall feel you wanna give.

maybe it's your honesty they value then?

hmmm, that is certainly more of an eye opener. I was lamenting a couple of weeks ago, a package that was made of paper and plastic all glued fast together. it was impossible to separate. I was very frustrated. I mean, even if I could separate them, we don't have separate bins for plastics here. we should do. but we don't. I think I need to lobby our council to sort it out. but they seem to be cutting their budget for garbage collection lately so it seems like an impossible task.

guyver has many different logos in its different adaptations. so I was wondering if you want a completely original logo design. What you say about guyver 1 and 3... that is an illustration, not really a logo. I mean, most game covers has logo in the form of title, and then the illustration. do you see what i'm saying? so when I asked about if you had any materials, I was thinking maybe you had looked at some other games or perhaps movies etc and seen some logos that you'd like to use as inspiration. I also want to mention.. if you do wish to use guyver 1 and 3 as a basis for a logo design, they could certainly be used to craft some form of silhouette to use as a basis for a logo outline. logo + illustration

You do need to be patient. as frustrating as it may be, it is too much work for many people to follow a link. I know, crazy, but unfortunately true. When I want people to watch my video, I make sure it is embedded in my post. I don't really care if I get a 'view' or not in the viewcount. it's more important that people enjoy what I produced.

Odin, I noticed you said yo wanted a logo. That's my ballpark for sure. do you have any materials for it? inspirational image collections or colour palettes or anything like that?

well TVN is taking their time with it as usual. I just don't see why they can't forget about the karaoke for the first episode. They can always add the karaoke in when they do their batches.

I watched the first one and I found it to be quite dull. But this new costume has piqued my interest. I don't know why some people say it looks similar though. it looks completely different! this is like steve ditco vs mark bagley. rhino and electro? interesting, reminds me of a few issues I saw around the time of the clone saga. Perhaps they'll lead into something interesting... like maybe an inclusion of the scarlet spider and other dudes like that.
