Had this for years, can't recall seeing it on the net and was talking to Sully about scanning things so I thought I'd scan this. Artist is Steve Kyte. date is 1995. The article is not worth reading though tbh so don't bother asking. it's rife with mistranslations and inaccuracies and has no interviews with anyone of importance.

not really, I think if that was the only reason it would be petty. quite simply, for too long we have been reading Manga for free. Guyver advocacy has been responsible for westerners being able to read guyver for free. is that fair? if we make it possible for westerners to read guyver then shouldn't we pay the appropriate price? I believe that is fair. we are all responsible, me included. I consume things for free when I should be paying for it. there is a big problem in our global society and I think we ought to start trying to fix it. I don't think anyone should be finding issue with a pre-order, even when what we are supplying alongside the pre-order is an advance look at what will be in the book. how many of us buy monthly shonen ace...? I understand that people have financial burdens and difficulties, but let's please keep the right perspective. Don't worry, I'm on top of it

to be honest, I'd prefer western union because paypal charge me 5% for each transaction. But I set it up to be most convenient for most people. doesn't mean there aren't workarounds.

you're gonna have to be more specific, especially since right here in this thread we are PROVIDING the means to order volume 30. as you can imagine your post comes across a little confusing. Dave, yes you will receive the book when it is officially released.

There is a thread for it a little way down the page. Should I make it a sticky? volume 29 was already released so we can't pre-order that, but I did make a poll asking about back issues. I'm considering how we could have volume 29 available for ordering. It's not cost effective to order them one by one so we'd have to do something like 10 orders before we can obtain them. simply because I currently don't have any capital. it's a bit awkward but then at least it is possible. edit: I pinned it, so it's right at the top now.

As stated with last issue, Guyver advocacy will make a scanlation available to those who pre-order volume 30; the volume that this chapter will be part of. It is our intention to use this method to properly support the author of the work and the publisher.

expanded universe.. that is like fanfictions or official novels and games or something else? well you did mention books so I guess they must have a semi-official status. maybe similar to the games like Knights Of The Old Republic? Ok I get it, cheers. I like the idea of those 3 stars coming back to do the film. I still have great reservations about their choice of director, but I'll have to hold back on my feelings. it might be nice to address the phrase "bring balance to the force".... I mean, it was like they were saying that by removing the dark side, they were balancing the force, but balance is about light and dark. The way return of the jedi ended, seemed like there was light but no dark, that is not balance. So with a continuation, it may be nice to see some way of bringing real balance. Not Jedi and Sith, maybe Sidi. or Jeth.

maybe some confusion in terms. sushi rice may be called that way because it is intended for sushi, but it is actually just sticky rice. actual sushi has the vinegar etc in it, but the rice that is used, is sticky rice. so yeah you would use the sticky rice for onigiri, but it is not sushi in any way really.

depends on how many colours you choose for it. a gif is indexed colour, it has 256 indexes. if your image is varied with lots of different colour you need to choose more indexes to fit the colours in. if you choose 10 for example, you will only have 10 shades/colours in your image. if you choose 256 it will look good if your image doesn't have a lot of variation. but if your image has all the colours of the rainbow and all different shades then even 256 won't be enough. you choose how many indexes you want to save when you choose to save the file. in photoshop to get this choice you need to choose 'save for web'.

gif does not support graduated transparency. it's either empty or coloured. I'll send you the psd containing the animation data.

it's not possible. an animated gif cannot yield full graduated transparency. it only has opaque or transparent. png provides graduated transparency but no animation. I can prepare separate frames as png, or a full movie of the entire logo... or.. something else?

I have some very important tip for making sushi rice Sushi rice is not just rice. the most important part is the vinegar etc. you need to mix the rice with various things. when making actual sushi, you use a mix of mirin plus salt and sugar. rice itself will always be bland, the vinegar etc is what gives it its joyfulness. however, onigiri is not made with sushi. onigiri uses plain white rice. the plan to make it taste better and less bland, in my mind, is to make your filling more powerful and to use a good wrap of nori. I think onigiri is like a japanese version of a sandwich. the bread is pretty plain but the filling gives it it's joyfulness.

odin, not sure how this will work. I've used magenta for a backdrop but i'm not sure how your program handles transparency. try this, and if this doesn't work, we can look at just having the whole logo as a video or something?

Aiuke is Ladena; a girl but very cool that you decide to include this! I'll get to work on that animation btw. I'll make it a single transparent animated gif with just the 'shine' part. if that doesn't work out then we can figure something else out.
