well how would you possily feel any sense of community if you don't post or get to know anyone... I mean, if I came to live in your neighbourhood, I would hardly be getting any sense of community would I? I'd have to get to know people. and I think a lot of the regular members over there would totaly disagree with you on there being no sense of community... there is a lot more of a sense of community there simply because there is more people. whenever i come on this site, I just feel a little lonely. I'm sorry to say it but that just the way I feel. the only way to get a feel for a community is to post in general discussion areas. and in quiz topics and spam topics. thats how you get to know people and that how you get a feel for community.

guys, I thik you are forgetting what this place was like when brian was around... 3 strikes and you're out? disagree with brian and you get banned? remember that? hey, I don't begrudge ya trying to revive this place, I too enjoyed being an active member of this site, but when you say the guyvernet is bogged down in rules I'm just a littl perplexed... I mean.. those guys hardly ever take any action on stuff. you have members with oversize signature images over there (which I might add you aren't allowed here) you have members puttig in bootleg links and getting ignored.. the moderating team is very laid back and as matt has said he and zeo are a part of the moderating team.. I might add very valuable members of the moderating team.. all rules and actions on that site are helped along by the very same people that front this site... well anyway.. you guys are welcome to your opinions, but some clarification would be cool. about poaching members... huh? you two are members.. you may not us your accounts, but you frely went over and joined. whats up with that? did we 'poach' you? no, you went on your own. but hey.. like i said, I'd like this place to become lively again. this place is a lot beter for fanfictions. thats what this place seems to be about! fanfictions just don't seem to do well over on the guyverboard. they get ignored. so this place is always gonna be the best place for fanfiction.

It could be the mere fact that we speak english. That would but us in the small minority group of 'westerners'. As zeo said, they are attacking all western propoganda sites. it seems that anything written in english can now be classed as western propoganda even if the original story was concieved about as far east as you can get. this is obviously the work of closed minded robots following cultist beliefs. they have no views of their own. they have no mind of their own. they just follow what somebody tells them. if it is in english, attack it.

what ... so this is a religious attack?? what the hell is wrong with these people? this is what starts wars. religious fanatics. I mean... not that the world situation isn't tricky enough anyway... but what the hell... we're supposed to be a growing civilisation... I wonder what the hell they would do if some religious alien race came and started indiscriminately bombing the lot of us? would they still do the same ? or would the human race get wiped out because some 'humans' are helping the aliens to kill the rest of us?

invisionboard is good software. it is not that hard to convert the tables. and it is extremely stable and has a lot of excellent features. I would like to see a version of WG forum on IPB. I don't know about other softwares like v-bulletin, but that seems pretty good as well. I think it would be better if the site was more streamlined. at the moment it is kinda modular in design. I think it may function better if separate sections were more integrated. if you are keeping in with the Warriorguyver franchise, then I feel that the other sites that are archived on the front page, should be moved into some sort of archive, or perhaps given another domain. If you wish to separate them off, and have them in some other domain I can help out there. I have theguyver.co.uk and the-guyver.co.uk if you are interested in that type of thing. chat rooms are problematic. as you may be aware I implimented one on guyverboard a while back. It just didn't work. maybe if you can get a shoutbox to work, that might be a good option. but a chat room, I can certainly foresee it being dead pretty much most of the time. basically because people won't be bothered to check if anyone is in there.

I saw the hack this time! It was purdy. Of course, I sympathise with you guys. but this hack was cute. It had a nice logo, and pretty little caterpillars made out of 1s and 0s . well guys, you were complaining that the hackers weren't creative.... sorry, i know i shouldn't be saying stuff like that... but hey, if I let them know they bother me then they will feel good, and I do not want that to happen!

security software would have to be encoded into the forum so as to allow registered members do the things that are normally required. basically, this forum software has security holes. the only people who can fix them are the people who developed the software, or programmers who are proficient in making mods for it. from past experience, I know that the simple matter of installling a mod can take many many hours and that's even if one exists for that purpose. I am assuming that matt or zeo have already looked for this type of thing. seeing that no mod has been istalled to that effect, I would gues that it does not exist. any other type of firewall or other software would simply prevent all of us from posting. ............. edit... I just looked on the phpbb website. guys, have you considered upgrading to the latest version? they have version 2.0.19 out now. If the hacking was actually caused by that internet worm, then perhaps that will completely fix the problem? from what I remember, upgrading to a later version doesn't usually cause too many difficulties.

not sure what kind of stats you're after, but over on the guyvernet we got height - 261cm , 8ft 6inches weight - 317 kilos , 50 stone a Translation of the Italian datafile of him wielded this result- It has superb physical strength and excellent defences. The bumps on the shoulders contain an explosive liquid, equal in strength to that of panadyne and gaster, that serves to be sprayed at enemies. hope that helps somewhat.

yeah guyverboard is backed up at least 2 or 3 times a week. It may not be needed but it only takes a minute or so to do. it also only takes a couple of minutes and a weak point to lose it all. *shrugs* I think its worth those couple of minutes a couple of times a week.

I think the best way to deal with it, is to make backups more often, then when it gets hacked just ignore it. If you simply restore the board to a very recent backup ( half a week?) and then everyone is just calm and like "what the heck, i don't care" then they will be gaining nothing by hacking it. soon enough they will just get bored. alls you gotta do is show them that they aren't effecting anything. that what they are doing is pointless and a waste of their time. show them that WE ARE SUPERMAN!! figuratively....

thanks for posting this up guys. yeah, Im in a bit of a tizz right now... it actually expired on nov 30th... but as guyverfanatic found out my email has been on the blink so i had no notification. it is through big thanks to zeo that i caught it in time (I hope). I changed it over at about midnight last night.. it should be done by now, but they are still awaiting approval. It is working ok for me now.. i just hope it stays that way. EDIT: worst case scenario, the domain will be set as either the-guyver.co.uk or thguyver.co.uk I already have those ones registered to keep them safe from the advertising swines. I can easily send a bulk mail to all members to notify them of the change so if worst coes to worst, at least it will still work.

yeah, i wasn't referring specifically to you dude, I ws more concerned about things like 'jason is warriorguyver' and things like that. I have only started readoing since the chronicles started and so for me, that part is kinda ruined now. there are other things being said as well, not just that. that was just one part that stood out.

maybe you guys should user spoiler alerts? after all this is discussion for chronicles part 2, not future chapters. not all of us have been with warriorguyver from the beginning.

I was intending on mentioning that. zeus, you are right it is too big but you are wron for the intended resolution because i have 1280 pixels wide and it is too wide for even my monitor to contend with!!

sorry to douse the flames but neither are 'immortal'. the definition of immortal is 'unable to die'. We have seen a guyver die(guyver2), and we have seen a zoalord die(purgstal). Maybe the question should be 'which is most durable'. guyver seems to be more durable as has already been said. from just a tiny fragment it can reproduce itself. a zoalord couldn't. how much damage would it take to kill a zoalord outright? purgstal was killed by a hole in his chest.(yes i know, along with a long draining fight) how much damage to kill a guyver? The ONLY thing that can kill a guyver that we know of is EXTREME trauma to the CM. such a small achiles heal with such a powerful defensive array surely makes for most durability.

estimated price tag for NINTEND DS is between 100 and 150 pounds or dollars. before you say "the pound is different value to the dollar" games companies tend to neglect this little insignificant detail and just release over here the same price as the US(numerically). of course that means we have to pay roughly 150% of what americans pay. not that im bitter. but yes expect it to be as cheap as the GBA when that came out. alternatively the PSP is expected to retail around the 250/300 (insert currency here) mark.

I Have posted this here after chatting with sully before any of you think i am being sneaky!! Basically I have set up a domain with the title http://www.theguyver.net Contained in this domain is my personal website which will continue to grow now that i have internet at home! Featuring very prominently among this is the GUYVERBOARD. While i made this message board with intentions of it being a different type of place to WGCOM, sully and I have agreed that it has come at a perfect time as this board will be down for moving very soon. So basically anyone who wants to continue discusion on guyver, come and sign up on guyverboard. Sully also said that it is ideal because he can post on guyverboard to keep you all informed on his progress in moving WGCOM. I have been wondering that same thing for a very long time....... my thoughts were that they were in side his body. maybe like internal organs or something. either that or he gave birth to them! now theres a picture you'll cherish! good point about the black hole attack zeo. although mebbe thatwas coz he was human form? i mean when he was zoaform gyro just stood there riveted while alkanphel plucked the crystal out of his head. on the very same note murakami had the same riveting effect on the team five. obviously the zoalords full authrority is felt only when in battle form...

I believe when balcus said that all 11 would not beat him, he was implying that alkanphel s zoa crystals are implanted in them all. this means that he has some form of control over their actions coz they are in effect part of his body.
