is there any chance that he could have been adjusted by the scientist that is now with agito? if that is the case there could be a possibility that he may have a battle form similar to grizelda or libertus. the scientist does seem to have experience in creating zoalord if he can make grizelda without a real zoacrystal... (unless someone knows something about that 'zoacrystal')

What Battleform power would you give the remaining Zoalords?

I don't think yoshiki would be so shallow to base his most powerful characters on something so basic as the elements. yes it is true that gyuo was gravity based but the same could be said of paul kushtar i mean gravity or pressure has a very strong influence over the weather. perhaps the zoalords are all just using variations on creator tech. i mean there is gravity. look at the guyver he has a gravity globe at his waist. then there is the dimensional aspect of the guyver, how he uses dimensional energy. these are all creator tech. waferdanos is not human so his powers are strongly influenced by the creature that he has come from. he used to be spread out across an island so his power helps him to spread his body out. namely his hair. the remaining zoalords will probably use other aspects of creator tech which we can see hints of by looking at guyver. maybe one will be made with swords? maybe one will be with powerful lasers. maybe one will be smashing power using matter converters to produce momentum. who knows? whatever they are they will be awesome! -
Is there anybody who could scan the pages with guyver 1 data on them and send them to me. I am hoping to make an attempt at translating this so we can have more detailed info on the anatomy of guyver! Some people have already done some translation which we are extremely grateful for but its always nice to have more points of reference! Thanks in advance for whoever can help!

I do agree that in a fan work you can do anything you want and done in the right way it can be very effective. but that type of thing would only hold up in the fan work. if you consider people in general that type of thing would just clash completely. the general public isn't so accepting as you or i. the film you are describing sounds like heaven to anybody who loves the manga , anime and the film. if somebody doesn't like the film, however( i personally don't like shaun) then they are gonna feel cheated. to make a film commercially effective you gotta keep the concept simple. especially in an action film! Oh and you were asking what tother things were different, the spike on his head moves, the zoanoids are comedic and mostly human shape and size, a zoalord is the size of a house, they use robots to make zoanoids, the bio booster creaturee is not self supportive, there is more but it would take a long time. don't get me wrong im not knocking your ideas, they are good ideas. i just don't feel they would work well in a film and if you can't convince me, good luck with a publisher!

this reminds me of what happened with spiderman... its all about money isn't it?

you can't have sho and sean in the same film. it just doesn't make sense. sean would have heard of sho or sensed him at least and vice versa. the film and the manga and the anime are separate. they are in different worlds. i mean even some of the concepts are different. like how the guyver makes you shorter in the films . sorry i just had to put that in there!. but just look at the guyver in the films. he has extra orbs and stuff. it just wouldn't make any sense at all. Anyway i promised to put up my script and here it is. it is extremely patchy and needs a lot of work but seeing as we are on the subject i guess you guys can see it now. you may need to copy and paste the address into a new browser... http://www.angelfire.com/bug/tremault/guyver_script.htm

Measuring the Guyvers physical Strength?
Jess♥ replied to a topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
It does say 'multiply cells'...... Not that i m trying to be awkward or anyhting, but that implies the cell splitting to make more of them.... not an increase in power per cell. in my calcs with body mass this is apparent. however it doesn't make any reference to metabolism or anything. so i am agreeing with you but also going a step further and agreeing with zeo as well. in a sense you are both right. -
A sequel to the existing guyver movies is not a good idea. lets face it they are hardly the best films ever made even if the subject matter rocks. also there are gonna be a lot of people who won't have a clue what is going on. lets tell them to watch the other two films? no. i don't think so. better to buy the rights completely and make a film from scratch. It would have to be an adaptation though. you cant fit the books in as they currently stand. the script would be more episodic than film like. like the anime. i have outlined a brief plot of what i would make for a guyver film. i will post it up tomorrow.

yeah but that costs. Zues thunderbolt, do you have OCR on your scanner? if so i would be very pleased to read a translation of those books! if it is time consuming to put it through the translation engine, then i'll give you a hand if you like! (or if you don't have OCR then send me the scanned pics and i'll put them through my character recognition program.) perhaps if anyone else has the time they could help too!

Measuring the Guyvers physical Strength?
Jess♥ replied to a topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
That is all very interesting..... wow i am just trying to get my head round what you just said!! i think i understand most of it though. i see what you're saying is that just because they are more mass it doesn't mean that the mass of the muscles produces the actual strength. that maybe they channel energy and use that to control the body instead? Liskers muscles are gonna be far more efficient than shos because he is an elite, trained, perfect physical specimen. if that is what you are saying then he would be stronger anyway? or do you think the mass of the body is simply to cushion the guyver against blows and seeing as guyver3 and guyver 2 have more mass to begin with then they need more cushioning? otherwise why else is there a increase in mass to such a degree? edit: I think i see what you're getting at. then guyver increases muscle and cardio vascular efficiency by the same degree in each unit. in which case if efficiency has been increased by such a great factor then the mass and load bearing qualities of the individual muscles becomes negligable. unfortunately there is no evidence to support so it just comes down to a matter of opinion. to be honest i tend to agree with you. if guyver two was proportionately stronger than guyer1, sho would have found it a lot harder to defend himself! -
Measuring the Guyvers physical Strength?

sorry to add fuel to the fire guys, but i did some calculations last night. now it doesn't take a genius to work out that risker is heavier than sho(by 40 kg) but what i did was to instead work out the body mass index (weight versus height) coz lisker is also taller than sho. i figured out that lisker is higher body mass index than sho (about 24 when sho is about 21) no surprise there as he is very stocky. however, when working out the BMI of the two guyvers, surprisingly enough guyver 2 had less BMI than guyver 1 (G2 about 81 and G1 about 86). this seems to lend its support to what zeo is saying about the guyver being an equalizing factor. however i would like to take into account that the g2 unit was malfunctioning so that may/maynot be relevant. that being said guyver2 is taller and heavier than sho(about 100 kg heavier). the laws of physics dictate that guyver two should be the more powerful body. im no scientist so if any of you have an explaination for how a lighter body can be more(or the same) powerful i am more than willing to listen. I am going to do some more calc. with guyver1 and guyver3 tonite and will probably post monday with my finding (unless someone else beats me to it!) EDIT: Wow looks like noones posted yet! well here goes:- now this is interesting. it appears from these findings that guyver 3 and guyver 1 mass increase is 300% while guyver 2 is 240%. this making guyver 3 125% heavier than sho as human and guyver. this means that the guyver does not have an equalizing factor and that guyver 2 was almost equally matched by sho because of the unit malfunction. i am taking the stance that mass=power here so even though guyver 2 is heavier than sho and naturally has more power, if the guyver was functioning properly sho probably wouldn't have been able to parry at all. Zeo1234, you stated that muscle mass does not necessarily mean power. i am interested to know your comments on these findings and how, genetically the power of the muscles can be equal while mass is greater. -
SPOILERS!!!! just to elaborate a bit more, the guyver on its own would not stand even the remotest chance against alkanphel. alkanphel has ultimate power over any of the zoalords. when gyuo tried to fight against alkanphel he wasn't even phased by any of his attacks. to use as a comparison the effect that guyver 3's megashmasher has on gyuo is not as devastating as we might expect. this is the guyvers ultimate weapon and when agito fired it at him (albeit at half power) gyro was not destroyed. also we have seen alkanphel take the unit off of guyver 0. the most notable part is where guyver 0 fired his full mega smasher at alkanphel and alkanphel just shrugged it off. and then there was the time on top of the relic when both guyver 1 and guyvr 3 fired their full megasmasher at him and he just turned it back on them without so much as blinking..... i think you get the picture!!!!

Measuring the Guyvers physical Strength?
Jess♥ replied to a topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
All this is off course taking the assumption that the guyvers punch strength is down to muscle strength alone. of course we all know that the orbs in his forearm use gravity fields to create a momentum and this would probably be another big factor in determining the strength. at the point when risker is holding sho against the wall and pushing his blade toward sho sho is obviously struggling a great deal against him. risker didn't seem to be having much of a problem. from this is would determine that the actual physical strength of the guyver is indeed dependant of the hosts base strength. -
I'm not quite sure i understand what you mean by this but the guyver units came into existence long before zoanoids. we are not even sure the creators actually made the guyvers but we suspect this is the case. the guyver unit (as is already stated) is a tool and the creators, after making their army of humans/zoanoids, were curious as to how their tool would react with their creation. for more info try studying episode 11 of the anime or get the books.

yeah sorry bout that, i wasn't sure how to go about it from the description i was given. thats why i based them on the standard guyver weaponry... is it supposed to be some other type of technology?
-
it is a pretty stupid pic though they could have at least got him a box... hopefully trhe next guyver film will get it RIGHT.

here is some more guyver work but this time done in cg. void was introduced to me by kamui de' tempest, i believe he is a character in one of the fanfictions, guyvers lair(it is a fanfic isn't it?).

It also refers to sho as 'crystal'. ("the fukamachi crystal" is actually "sho fukamachi") The word sho actually means crystal or power. a lot of the translations engines do not understand the context in which words are written. japanese as a language is very context sensetive. therefore the same word in different situations can mean wildly different things. that said, murakami was referred to as Beast Master in anime vol 11, beast master or animal god, both describe perfectly what a zoalord does. and military officer, or general is what they are. chronos generals, zoalords. so yes to both questions.

When i look at your work and then look at mine, i have absolutely nothing to be proud of. I am humbled. i need to work harder. work as good as that is my motivation to continue. Keep it up you are truly talented. p.s. are you a professional illustrator? if not you should be.

I really wish i had time to do intricate colours like that! That is really nice picture! Unfortunately all my talents are with the pc. i have no talent at all with coloured pencils! i envy you!

The guyver reproduced shos scar accurately. the guyver is likely to get rid of any potentially harmful chemicals or materials. in short the guyver would regenerate the host 'clean' if the hair was bleached it would remain bleached:- the damage would remain. if the hair was coloured the colour as a foreign material would be expelled.

OMG These are the times when swearing should be aloud coz words cannot express how cool those pictures are and the prospect of having GYUO! Looking closely at the guyver stood at the top left those legs are guyver 1s. I am 99.9 percent certain of that.

WOW that is GOOD customer service! i was thinking about ordering from whatcomics.com but now my mind is made up!

Hey guys thanks for all the comments! Armageddon, You mentioned that there have been other interpretations.... do you know where i could find those?
