Just to elaborate a bit more.. (as i skimmed through all my books last night and don't want that to be wasted ) Gyuo was hit by only one megasmasher, true, but before that he was 1)distracted by the melting enzyme 2s 2)hit in the eyes by murakamis most powerful blast 3)being temporarily blind and completely off guard in contrast neo zxtole knew exactly what was coming his way and had chance to prepare himself completely. also while searching through i did notice that gyro seems to be a very weak zoalord. he got kicked around quite a bit by murakami, and agitos pressure cannon completely pulverised his chest. even normal zxtole could withstand that.

Woah! Thats impressive! But i gotta admit i am a tiny weensie bit sceptical... a few of them seem just a bit too good if you know what i mean.

WOW You guys you really made my day! (wipes a tear from his eye) i've never had such a positive response before! youngguyver, You are very close! it was actually imakarum i modelled it on. yes the background was an import juggernaut, i drew it freehand with pencil, scanned it, refined the lines using paths in photoshop and then shaded it using layers and also (my new best friend) my graphics tablet. It's really a good idea to maybe work on a full body version...... thats gonna be a BIG strain on mr imagination though!! well i'll be sure to give it a go!

leonard, you say that arkanphel phonetically translated means cat... could you elaborate a bit more on that please. I always thought the japanese word for cat was neko.... is it another word for cat?

I DO own the manga. the ORIGINAL (plus chuang yi's version, the viz version and the art book). What do you think i translated from? if you refer to the chinese version then that is flawed. the translation is into chinese. katakana is primarily used for a) borrowed english b) names (which can't get changed in any way since they are names). if you refer to the english translation by chuang yi then once again it was translated in china probably by a chinese person. once again flawed. if you look at viz's translation he is called gyro and if you listen to the anime he is quite clearly called GYUO. One of them has to be right and seeing as logic points in that direction i go with the anime. edit: sorry to sound so rude i just got a little offended when you said i don't own the books. it is a good point that it is called guyot in the chinese i had forgotten about that. but i still stand by the name gyuo for the above reasons.

direct translation of the katakana gives the result Gyuoo. This does not seem to give support for him being called guyot. unless there is evidence to support him being called guyot i would say his name is gyuo.

WOW! Thats a very good point. i guess alkanphel must know about the zoanoids because he needs to know how to control them (or kill them). i feel kinda embarrassed . in that case do you think that balcus may have a battleform not too dissimilar to alkanphel? after all god created man in his own image.... also now i come to think of it when we look at imakarum, there is a good chance that he could have been adjusted by alkanphel. i mean, looking at the eyes, and im not sure but were the other chronos officials surprised to see him?

did anyone notice the topic further down the list entitled 'resident evil apocalypse'?

I can't see balcus having a battle form at all. my reason for saying this is that he was turned into a zoalord by alkanphel. alkanphel at that point probably didn't have any idea how to develop zoanoids let alone zoalords. it was balcus who probably figured all that out. i mean alkanphel is absolute power. he doesn't strike me as the scientific type.

As a copy it's not too bad. how old are you or how long have you been drawing? i'd like to see some of your original work! a tip from an experienced sketcher:- learn details of anatomy. learn it in GREAT detail. when you know whats going on under the skin you'll know what shapes it and your lines will be much more true. a very good book i've read is one i got from my local library "anatomy for artists". also study the differences in peoples faces. Anime is good and looks nice but the simplified nature of it is just that. SIMPLIFIED. that means they started off with the detail and reduced the detail afterwards to give it an 'in yer face' feel.

im sure murakami said something like that in the 12 part OVA...... maybe im wrong but it is a pretty low branch isn't it? gyro talks to makashima as if all the achievements of the japan branch are nothing. he belittles genzo makashima and in turn the japan branch making it seem like an insignificant part of the organization. This is how it came across to me.... thoughts?

I do have good reason for saying what i said. try translating it. Although I was a little bit out... It is actually the Rocky mountains near Montana (so only a few miles away then!)

i hear ya! I watched the movies and they are a great improvement!! I think i'm still bitter about the gap between releases (sometimes 3 months here in the uk) and the hideous over pricing (?18.99 for one set - thats $33.00)! btw what is FCLC?

That is actually kinda interesting. it does seem peculiar that chronos trusted something so important to the japan branch, the lowest branch of chronos.... and even more peculiar that malmot, a weak pathetic guinea pig, would get the units and escape chronos so easily. that being said it is merely gonna come down to speculation and so i think someone should do a fan fiction or something. but this is the wrong forum for that so thats where i shut up!!

i don't know if you were also after the location where the relic wreckage landed, but that was in arizona. as for how the rest of them got out..... your guess is as good as mine but i'm guessing that the remaining portions of the relic kind of floated down and cushioned the landing. they must have climbed out and snuck off.
