  1. fighting games? like street fighter? nah, i'd get bored with it. i'd be like an actor "what's my motivation?"
  2. it depends on how much of a spoiler you want. after this part there is gonna be a lot of political stuff. the bigwigs in konoha have some important matters to discuss. then we need to catch up with what sasuke is doing. sasuke has some thing to achieve. he will target a specific person that we may not have expected. this will turn into a rather big fight. something will be revealed about akatsuki and 'their' intentions. this will turn hte ninja world into turmoil and there will be talks. after that as naruto goes searching for sasuke, he eventually find sasuke while sasuke fights a influential figure. after that, naruto has some special training and we get an important flashback. naruto gets some powerful abilities and that brings us up to our present stage in the manga. I think that's pretty vague and avoids some major spoilers. if you want some detail, I can go into specifics. as for time frame, i think the anime has a lot lot go to catch up to where the manga currently is. let me backtrack an appropriate amount in the anime to give you an idea. go back past the attack on konoha, past naruto's training for sennin mode, past jiraiya's mission into amegakure, i think that is it roughly. would you guys agree?
  3. happy birthday yeah you got it, i like quest style games. well any adventure that has a clear story and balanced progression. so i loved super paper mario , yes i loved oukami. kingdom hearts was a little annoying when it got to the gummi ship bit but mostly it was a great game. mario galaxy was dull, the story was pretty much a copy of all other mario games with a side story thrown in on the side, that you don't even have to read. most wii games these days are party games, family games, or similar. no story or progression so not my style
  4. well as a member of akatsuki, kisame is an enemy to all the ninja world. i think if there was some personal connection between the two, they would be considered rivals, but there is no personal interaction. just fighting.
  5. I agree. accel was truly very good! i was especially impressed with the special effects used for that big head monster. it was very solid, much better than previous special effects. i was thinking to myself as i was watching 45 and 46 last night, this is become more like what kamen rider ought to be. for the whole series it has seemed kinda odd and sort of vague, but now it is seeming to become more cohesive.
  6. got to say, episode 46 was rather special. for the first time in this whole series, i got excited
  7. no, really, I would say it's a beautiful machine. nintendo have always had the finest workmanship and this is no exception. I remember the first time i opened it up, the way it was packaged was beautiful in itself. and taking it out it is such a compact, sturdy machine. the way things clip together is so satisfying and i felt like it would last forever. I do miss it but the console is simply no good without any decent games. i would love for nintendo to bring out more of my type of game so i could own a wii.
  8. thanks for that matt.
  9. orange flash? in the bit that i read, he said he saw a yellow flash. maybe durendal can confirm what killerbee said if he read it in japanese.
  10. ha ha, yeah it definitely comes with wiimotes. it has gamecube ports because it plays gamecube games. it is all backwards compatible so it needs ports for the appropriate controller. although to go back as far as the n64, it needs to use emulation because it has a disc drive but no cartridge slot. so they can map the controller differently. it doesn't come with gamecube controllers btw. the actual ports are hidden under a flap. they are more like legacy ports.
  11. yeah too true!
  12. I understand exactly how you feel. it sometimes seems like our efforts don't get appreciate completely. but rest assured this site gets to the attention of a lot of people. just the other day, I put 'guyver' into google and instead of being at number 3 after wikipedia and IMDB etc, guess what... the number 1 spot was the guyver net. now, japan legend doesn't tend to be quite as high but since they are technically the same site, it doesn't make much difference to me. so I am sure all the work you have done on the guyver pages recently have found their way into the living rooms of many many guyver fans. imagine the people across the word lovingly reading about guyver all thanks to the work you have done. now we have reached a lot of guyver fans and due to the similarities they will all love kamen rider for sure. this new series will surely be interesting. I am interested to see what kind of characters there will be and what type of technology is gonna be present. and of course it will be translated from japanese and so will be great information of higher quality than other places! I am hoping that this season, we will get more activity in the forum and have a more popular kamen rider series. W was a bit quiet so I am hoping it will just get better!
  13. i watched a couple episodes last night. i noticed this. he looks like a fangire!
  14. yeah i have also said this numerous times. now you are saying it, that adds strength to the argument. I strongly believe kamen rider is changing to fill the demographic that sentai used to fill.
  15. i think it's just that more recent times, racism has been used as a catch-all phrase for discrimination.
  16. no, there would be nowhere to plug it in. the wii is very compact. the only connectings are the AV cable, the power and the gamecube controller ports. oh and the sensor bar.
  17. i think you can use rechargeable batteries, it uses AA batteries i believe.
  18. this is what happens when you have a US constitution. people are free to practice their religion where they want subject to appropriate laws. it was a city planning issue and as such there was no reason to possibly deny the plans. I think it was handled correctly. there should be no link between islam and the trade center attack. it was al qaeda who attacked the trade center, not islam. so i believe that by building the mosque there regardless of any persons mistakened linking with any event of the past, is the correct thing to do. this is actually a positive step towards reversing the overly-PC and judgemental culture we have in the world today. because let's face it. if they deny the building of a mosque within 2 blocks of 'ground zero', how many blocks does it have to be until it is ok? and who gets to make that decision? there was a very interesting programme on TV yesterday. it was a programme against the battle with drugs. the programme covered the cultivation of poppys and production of opium in afghanistan. there was a man who was on trial by the new court system created by the allied forces in afghanistan. he was a night watchman in a place where they stored the opium. this mans home had been obliterated by an allied forces attack. he had nothing, was completely destitute and had to find a way to support his family of 12. now, in sharia law, he would be allowed to take whatever means necessary to support his family given his situation, but under this new legal system, there was no leniency. the man was in distraught and pleading with the judge, he had no alternative, and was getting paid hardly anything anyway, however he was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment and a $12,000 fine. this is what our governments have done to these people. his cousin came to the city to try and appeal his brothers case. the most poignant part of the documentary was the man shouting while in tears "it's this demonic law system, those british have ruined our lives" . now being british, this weighs heavily on my heart. my government never did a public opinion poll on whether or not to go to war in afghanistan. there was no opinion poll, no referendum. nothing. in fact, our prime minister of the time lied to us all in order to justify his actions. now the people in this country are cursing all british, and i am left feeling the weight of this and also feeling utterly betrayed by my government. so is this all a religion issue? no. actually i think the current attitude towards the differences between religions.. i think is a smokescreen.
  19. has anyone seen the trailer for this? it was released by tvnihon this evening. I am finding it interesting. it has a much different feel to it than W. I am unsure what exactly it is reminding me most of just now, but i am not feeling psychotic tendencies towards it so all's good
  20. I bought a wii fairly early on. I sold it after a couple of months because there were none of my type of game set for release. the games i bought it for were metroid prime 3 and super paper mario. I totally recommend super paper mario. that game is brilliant. other than that i recommend nothing. to be honest, I don't know much about the type of games you enjoy kenji perhaps if you post in the games forum about the games you have enjoyed in the past, I can recommend something good for you
  21. you'll never catch me
  22. i have no idea. I never watch the original kamen rider. I don't like old stuff.
  23. I really like the confidence you have in your lines. the overall feel of it is very bold.
  24. I decided it wasn't quite right. looking at the way it is presented in the manga, i felt i had not given enough 'light' to it. so i went over it and made it more like how i think it ought to be.
  25. it's no spoiler for me, since i read the manga. i made the wallpaper. i edited my last post to make that clear
