I think the Oxford dictionary has improved a LOT lately. my original dictionary was quite bad and had the japanese words arranged in english alphabet order ... well the latest edition has it in proper japanese order. I have the Oxford Japanese Mini Dictionary (2009) and find it to be quite useful. but it's not the ideal for learning reading. for reading, I use Gakken å°å­¦æ¼¢å­—１ï¼ï¼ï¼– that is available from ebay as far as I know, that's where i purchased it.

( is it past perfect? something that has already happened. it has completed. like the car has broken. ) durendal, do you think it's ok to include verbs just now? or do you think it might be a bit complicated just yet?

yes you've got that part right and yes, boku is definitely masculine, the katakana is not a very common usage because japanese people don't always recognise the term. they would usually use the term イギリス人 or 英国人, much to my dismay. unfortunately it's an all too common issue with other countries. I think his romper suit looks lighter at times because of the aura he gives off. I always pictured it as a soft blue, a little way inbetween deep sky blue and navy blue.

I did a cleanup on the main front page today. I went through our keywords because quit frankly, they were a mess. they were not focused enough and had words like 'blade' 'den-o' etc. which is fine, but when you look at a keyword list and see so many, they need to be more focused. I knocked 'the guyver net' off of the page altogether because that domain has been dead for a while. I've replaced it with 'guyverboard' in deference to our history and in keeping with the forum and how members refer to it. I've also added Project Toku Wiki to the front page as I feel it is definitely deserving of the proper title. I wish to rebrand the wiki by replacing the banner at the top with a Project Toku Wiki banner. I intend to use the armoured legends logo as a base for it. I'm considering whether the news box is working. I may remove it or think of another way for it to work without having to manually update it. any thoughts?

you're getting there, you're learning already ! you got 'this day' right or 'today'. your romanisation of the hiragana is not quite there, but good! when you see a small symbol, it is modifying the one before it. so when you wrote kiyo u, it is actually kyou. that would all be written as kyou ha kinyoubi desu. a breakdown of the grammar, kyou is today. kyou ha, means 'concerning' today. kinyoubi is friday. youbi is day. kin is money. so to remember that it's friday think of it as 'payday'. desu means 'is' or 'to be'. I'll let you come up with the answer based on that.
