  1. yes. even the title of guyver has both kanji and katakana 強殖装甲ガイãƒãƒ¼ å¼· kyou (kanji) æ®– shoku (kanji) 装 sou (kanji) 甲 kou (kanji) ガ ga (katakana) イ i (katakana) ムba (katakana) ー extender of the last sound. I'm still learning to read japanese. admittedly, I'm pretty good, but not as good as I am at reading english. you don't need to have a teacher, but these days, it is easier to get a teacher. when i started learning, the internet was new and japanese was not very common as a college course etc. my start in learning to read japanese was trying to translate guyver. it's the reason this website and guyver advocacy exists. I learn by talking to my friend in japan and I have various dictionaries. for firefox, get something called rikaichan and get yourself onto twitter and follow some japanese people. there is a member of this forum called lycanthrope bata. he doesn't visit very often but i talk to him often on twitter. it's difficult, but then learning is difficult. when you are challenged, you learn the most. oh to learn grammar, try a program called rosetta stone. maybe you can try the japanese governments site. https://www.erin.ne.jp/en/ that's free, whereas rosetta stone is EXPENSIVE.
  2. product still in development, branding looking good. http://t.co/WdyynGR1

  3. something that really gets on my tits, is the amount of "artwork" on the net with the title 'Me'

  4. all japanese is written in 'japanese' which comprises of three scripts. all japanese will be written with kanji, hiragana and katakana where appropriate. the only exceptions will be childrens books. do you know what the scripts are for? katakana is used for mostly loanwords, and names. hiragana is used for grammar and particles, verb conjugations and sometimes is used for common terms like greetings etc. Kanji is the meat of it, is used for most stuff along with hiragana to give it it's grammatical context etc. to compare it, you could say CAT is the equivalent to katakana, cat is the equivalent to hiragana and is the equivalent to kanji. lucky for kanji learners, guver is a boy's manga which means it is aimed at young boys who are not fully through school yet. as a result, furigana (small hiragana) are written beside each kanji.
  5. glad i switched to @Dtoid instead of @kotaku. wow, some ACTUAL GAME JOURNALISM!! I've picked up some interesting games recently :)

  6. i u give 100 monkeys 100 typewriter and infinite time they will write the works of shakespear? actually you only need 1 monkey. INFINITE...

  7. I think I'd need to know some context of the song, but that could be "moon and venus". the first one is correct.

  9. I think there is a difference though, between feeling generic and being generic. something can be generic but still feel great. I think goukaijer is probably generic in many ways, but it doesn't feel that way to me. fourze is possibly not as generic or more generic than some other series, but the issue at my end is that it feels generic. this could be simply due to lack of other factors that would capture my interest.
  10. i've been enjoying your crimson guyver comoic that you submitted to zeus thunderbolt on DA. I was going to comment on those piceds on DA but i chose to come here and tell you my thoughts about what i thought when i ws reading them. I enjoyed reading them.

    Canniblog

it's really interesting to see pictures of Russia. here in the UK, Russia is a mystery. on our tv, and in school, we have never been told anything or any information. I wonder if I could see some film or video or documentary that will show me things about Russia. recently a UK documentary "an idiot abroad" visited Russia. they travelled on the trans-siberian express. I saw a lot of the countryside and also parts of Moscow. then we saw some people in the woods and they buried them under the ground with a pipe to breathe!

    Mecha's Blog

hm, I had completely forgotten about that thing we were doing to do with guyver info. what an interesting peer into net history! since we lost guyvernet and guyverboard, we have not really managed to recover the extensive info that we did have. it's sad that the resource is now gone. but of course the VDF project was completed, we have a complete english vdf and we have much more manga than we did have. nice to see you've opened up a blog, it'll be interesting to see what you put in here
  14. that's fine, we are happy for all work on our wiki. as long as the wiki gets better, then our mission is fulfilled I'm very impressed with your work on the company page. it is very comprehensive and certainly the sort of thing we like! edit: with regards to creating a new topic, you should be able to do it just fine, I just tried it, it tole me to shift+f5 and try again, I tried that and i created the topic. I don't think there are special permissions needed, but if you still have problems, then just let me know and i'll look into it.
  15. This is the discussion topic for the wiki article: Nippon Ichi Sofware

  17. i couldn't provide anything at the moment since my interest in fourze is bordering on zero. by the way, I'm not sure on the error you are referring to. I don't see any problems here.
  18. nice! it is certainly an excellent achievement! wikipedia is a very restrictive site really, and their information is not great. if people want to learn about kamen rider, then they should come to japan legend!
  19. well images is my strong suit of course. I still haven't given it much thought since i spent almost 3 hours on the bus today, climbed a mountain and then 3 hours back. i'm a little pooped. but I'd like to think about it tomorrow. if you have any specific ideas for icons or thumbnails, please let me know. it'd be great to get a head start.
  20. yeah. so it's not necessary to go out of our way to adapt and go against the title card. I agree.
  21. whew, got back after a very tiring day. recorded 30 minutes of video on my phone. will upload when time allows.

  22. now approaching dolgellau. Only about 15-20 miles to go. Btw mobile internet sucks in theuk.

  23. Well, my battery is low. The kind lady told me so. Thank goodness for my (low quality) phone camera. :)

  24. actually... it's not 'known' that. we need to be careful. we know that kurumegnik's department was responsible for both the branchai bros' and for unus. it's a big step from developing the two main ones we can think of, to developing all of them, as if the other two rogue is not capable? anyway, let's not forget gastahl. do we know who developed him? I think it was jaervil's department. but i think what you are saying is that since kurumegnik's dept. developed the unus, then it makes sense that he developed the chariot feature for his own use? it's a reasonable assumption.
