It's a dialogue heavy chapter so there isn't much to say without knowing what's being said. I'm guessing Agito is explaining how he saw through the Zoaform's abilities and stuff.

I bet Clumegnig does spherical force fields (he used one as a weapon against Aptom way back when) and Jabir does the vortex stuff. I wonder why he hasn't shrunken down yet - does this mean his battleform is always that big? I really don't know why but, I have a HUGE hunch that Apollyon is gonna rock up and get involved in this fight. Clumegnik needs to do something pretty drastic if he doesn't wanna get crushed in Agito's hand...

Yeah, I agree that they were having a flashback to Dragonlord Kahn and Exceed's battle with the blackhole. Remembering it's power and possibly fearing that Agito was going to use it on them. I don't know. I can't tell so it's all speculation right now. I'm glad we got more combat though, hope it continues. That was always a complaint of mine with Guyver. The fights were always too short. But I guess when you get only one chapter a month (if you're lucky) the fights have to be short in order to progress the story.

Considering I've been in the dark for a while I wonder what exactly are the two renegade Zoalord's powers?

They have done re-releases in the past for hugely popular characters... Like Link and Samus. But I doubt Guyver 1 will get one. Those two sold out incredibly fast. Guyver 1 is still available after such a time, and there are so many Figma's being released every year, I am sure his days are past. Unless they do an "Image Head" version of the Figma like they did for the Bio Fighter collection... I'd buy that. And I doubt we will see any Zoanoids. Figma tends to be the major named characters... At best, we might see Aptom or Murakami proto-zoalord form. And since they also do not tend to make HUGE characters into figmas, I doubt we'll see a full Zoalord or Gigantic ( especially since the Bio Fighter Gigantic figure is in proper scale with the Figma) Don't get me wrong, the president of Max Factory, Max Watanabe has been a long time Guyver fan ( thus his interview with Takaya in the newest book), so he might be trying to support his long time friend... But If the figures don't sell... There isn't much he can do about it. Unless Guyver gets a big push in Japan again... Somehow... But after the 2005 TV series, I kind of doubt that. I really hate that I have to think this way. As a fan I'd love more Guyver merchandise... But I am too realistic. This release is probably just another "Oh hey another anniversary of my friends series. Let's make some stuff for him."

Ya know, I wonder about the whole body modifying thing. I know that the official Guyver anatomy says it does change the hosts inside. But, as far as the 2 anime series are concerned, and what I've read of the manga, not all mind you, so correct me if I'm wrong, but we never really see that part of Guyver mentioned or shown in any media.From what I've always seen across the years, the Guyver is treated like a literal living armor. Has the body changing ever played a factor in the manga? Again I haven't read them all. But every time we see Sho transform, and the normal armor into Gigantic and then XD, it all just looks like regular armor wrapping around something. That said, I think it would be a little....much if Sho was actually 50m in XD. The regular Gigantic armor is pretty much a power up mode for the normal Guyver, armor for armor, and then that extra armor grows. To me, I've looked at the XD form more like a giant mecha being piloted by the normal standard Guyver. A giant exoskeleton. But that's me, I'm just going by what I see presented in the manga and anime. I was actually quite surprised to know that the Guyver changes the hosts insides. Before I discovered that, my only access to Guyver was the OVA, live action movies, and anime series, which just pretty much ignored all that. Especially the movies, since the whole armor storage is handled differently in those.

Considering that is Cloud Gate in the picture ( as well as the two smaller buildings with the destroyed roof's), and the black hole in up in the sky, I believe they are referencing the Dragonlord and Gigantic Exceed fight, which they were probably still watching from afar after they fled the building. As for the chapter itself... I had figured that it was the black hole that was being used to get rid of the super cell, so it's always nice to have a guess come true. Shame that it seems we didn't get much in the way of plot advancement, but I guess they did need to explain how he survived the super cell. Perhaps next month then.

You guys rule. *** Looks like the guys are reminded of Gigantic Dark's battle with Imakarum Mirabilis, when Tokyo almost got sucked into a black hole. ...Damn. The last time I read that volume, it was a better world. I ought to pick it up again.
