All these problems are just manifestations of innate issues humans have. We have problem-solving intelligence, but we are not programmed to use it in our current environment. Instead we're equipped to handle the everyday problems of plainswalking hunter-gatherers, as we were until just 7000 years ago. Our social instincts are sufficient to handle a group of about 150 individuals. Result: frustration from living a lifestyle our instinct can't handle - and we're not even consciously aware of it because we've never known anything else. Multiply by several billion and what you get is this world of ours. Some hypothesize our instincts will adapt to a more urban lifestyle - improved social instinct, less aggressive libido, more altruism, and so on - but unfortunately developments like that take thousands of years, if not longer. Let's hope we will manage to do something ourselves soon, using technology.2 points

My favourite DBZ films have to be Bardock: The Father of Goku, The Dead Zone, Tree of Might, Broly: Legendary Super Saiyan and Fusion Reborn (because Janemba rules). I watched the subbed Battle of Gods while I was in Europe last year and I enjoyed it. It was great seeing them all again, especially with the modern style of animation.1 point

The issue is money. money is a system to displace control of the worlds resources to a few people. 85 people hold more wealth than 3.5 billion poorest. in many countries, people are having real problems getting water because this resource has been claimed by some corporation. nestle still kept bottling water in California at a time of drought. So I have given just a very select few small examples, there are multitudes more. It is pretty obvious what each of us can do to effect real change for the better in the world. Stop sending money to these large corporations and try to support your local producers wherever possible. If you buy second hand goods you also stop the money flow. We may not be part of some armed force, but we have power. every one of us has power. we can control what happens in the world by choosing where the money goes. stop taking out loans too. the banks are also a huge problem. unfortunately, we have to use banks for myriad things, but we can at least work to mitigate how mu7ch we contribute to their system of imbalance. is it impossible? how can I get a Big Mac without giving money to macdonalds? I know the answer because I solved that problem completely. I started to evaluate what the adverts were doing. I learnt how to filter out their attempts at brainwashing. I learnt about what is actually in the 'food' they produce. I realised I don't need to buy that stuff and can get much nicer food in other places. Macdonalds food isn't actually nice, it's just convenient. I have made much nicer food myself. It's not too hard. I used to be really keen on big macs but now I just have no desire for them and I feel healthier and happier. This is just one example. There will come a time when we will not have to work. robots will do all the work. what kind of world would we live in? how would money work? well the point is, we should be aiming for a zero money system. if we try and take this imaginary currency out of our lives, we will make the world a better place. We just need to do things bit by bit. When I want coffee, I avoid Nescafe as a general rule because Nestle are evil incarnate. I'd prefer to go for coffee from our local specialist store but since I'm currently poor, I settle for store's own brand. mitigation is better than no action.1 point

Any change, no matter how small, has geometrically increasing ripple effects. And to even suggest that World War I and all the horror that flowed directly from it (Including, but not limited to, the Spanish Flu pandemic, the Russian revolution, Stalin's regime, the rise of Communism in Europe, the second world war, the Chinese revolution, the rise of Communism in Asia, the cold war, the nuclear arms race, the rise of the military-industrial complex, the wars in Korea, Viet Nam and Central America, the Kim dynasty in North Korea, the occupation of Afghanistan, the ethnic wars in the Balkan, and ultimately even the war on terrorism, all with a total body count I can't even begin to estimate) were a price worth paying for the progress that followed from it - a questionable notion in any case - seems very cynical to me. But here's the thing: You wouldn't know what would happen. Leaving something like that up to chance is just something I could not live with. I am a personal believer that the only way to improve is to look to the future and plan for better. I can do this because of the mistakes that have already happened. In the case of changing a major political event like World War 1, you wouldn't know what would happen, You would just assume that "Everything will be better" (again, selfishly). What if it is not? What if it turns out to be even worse? Would that not make you the biggest war criminal ever? Sure, as said, there is a chance it could turn out for the better... But leaving something that big to chance isn't something I don't think I should personally make. Kudos to you if you have the fortitude to attempt and accept responsibility for such a thing. But that fact everyone assumes that it would be better, is false. There are always an equal (of infinite) amount of chances that it could turn out for the worse. And if it turns out worse, and you "write yourself out of existence", everyone in the world has to live with YOUR choice, because you assumed it would be better.1 point

True world peace will never happen so long as religion and shitty politics exist. It's just a fact. The majority of fighting going on in the world at the moment is all either: Religion based - people bred to hate another religion or tribe. They are told so from a very early age that this is how it is. And sometimes no matter how much schooling they may get, that is a part of their life and culture. And I am not even talking about child soldiers. There are people in this world. Educated people. That still hate due to their religion. They don't fight for personal gain. They fight to wipe out their opposing side. I work with a former South Sudanese child soldier, and he was able to adjust away from that. But some are just unwilling to change And what the worst part is, the majority of these people don't fight, but they protest or make their voices heard elsewhere. That is still wrong (re: the majority of the US Republican party for one) Political Based - Government or people who are power hungry. Al we have to do is look at Putin right now, or any communist nations still in existence. All they want is to control their people. They don't care what religion, what sex, or what your skin type is. If you are living in their country, they want you to follow their rules. And sometimes that can lead to uprisings and ultimately war. Some people say that we need a similar situation to what happen in Star Trek. Have an Alien race visit ours and "show us the way". Well, what they forget is, they had already fought World War 3, and by that time the world population was scattered and small. And I would rather not have to go through that for peace.1 point

I think kenji's statement is correct in that i could be more of a fashion thing as im sure the first time we've been introduced to natsuki, somewhere around when we first saw the gigantic, she wasn't wearing a cross on her necklace.1 point
