finally caught up  (  I must say though not much has really progressed in 4- 5 months)  and can see why people are saying its Imakurum.....

 

at this point I think the WHYs??????? about Apollons actions far out weigh the who??

 

the reasons behind his actions are going to be much more of a revelation than his true identity (especially as all the clues point to Murakami) and I think that is why Takaya may have given us obvious clues to his identity because if it is Imakurum then ist still doesn't explain WHY??

 

forget who's doing what and start wondering WHY???? wheres this all come from?? and wheres it going??

^^^Aether, this is exactly what's been bugging me since the evidence began pointing towards Imakarum. Takaya isn't good at keeping identities secret from the fans, but the reasons behind the characters actions are his best kept secrets. When Apollon's identity is reveled, everyone following the story thus far is going to receive one hell of a shock to learn what's really going on, at least that's my opinion.

I'd like to know what Apollon is. They said he was an Advent, does that mean one of the creators? 

 

I guess Apollon came back to finish off Arkenphel and his kin. If he kills Arkenphel, The hive mind of the zoanoids, and the rest of the zoalords, will the rest of the zoanoids slowly die off? Kind of like killing the queen, the hive kind of goes with her.

At this point if Apollon wanted to finish off Archanfel he could, but there was a scene that indicates he wouldn't (yes JP, I'm trying to make you buy the manga for this, MWAHAHAHA!)

 

Also, Barcus said Apollon's armor is made of the same material as a Guyver's Control Metal. That was a possible hint at Apollon being a Creator, or agent of the Creators.

Since i'm not able to read japanese and I'm waiting to buy the italian manga published by Starcomics, it could be that if you have read the english translated chapter you already know what I will write in this reply. Anyway this is my opinion about Apollion. It apperas to me that in this last chapter Apollion is using his "energy blades" not to stop Guyot (let's say also to stop) but most important to block the fire that is moving towards the town nearby. you can see that the two scars made by the blades are crossing just in front of the fire preventing its advance. and now the question is: why? Why a Creator wants to protect humans since they are failed experiments that would have to be destroyed by a dwarf planet thrown against the Earth ages ago? My answer is... Because apollion is human! or at least in part. He is a zoalord in disguise. Although he seems to use powers beyond the "standard" zoalord powers, in my opinion apollion is Murakami on a mission. what's his mission? collect zoacrystals. why? to give them back to Arcanfel (this is the Italian verision of alky name, more close to the word "archangel" maybe a biblical reference that our takaya yoshiki loves (and his battleform resemble angel wings)) so as to help him to gain part of the lost power. remember that all the zoalord zoacrystals come from Alky zoacrystal so it makes sense to think that part of his power was transferred to the other zoalords, leaving him weaker. and if you think about it, Apollion is collecting the crystals of dead zoalords, with the exception of Edward Caerleon that in my opinion was in the wrong place at the wrong time , and looking for those of the rebel zoalords (at least for now). Why Murakami? If I am not wrong (please correct me if i'm making a mistake), I remember Imakarum leaving the Shila Island after placing our sleeping beauty to "bed", saying something like "I am sorry but I have to do this". Maybe he was planning this charade. This is a hypothesis, but could it be that imakarum battleform was processed in the original Aly cocoon, giving him "special abilities" unlike the other zoalords that wer processed in more modern chambers? or processed in a different way, giving him more powers, to help more efficiently Alky? Wasn't Balcus saying something about this? I can't remember. And, thinking of why apollion is interested in the fate of the town,don't forget that Imakarum remember everything of who he was before is ascension to one of the zoalord divinity, and maybe he isn't completly changed in a slave of alky will.

apollon's suit could very well be advent advanced battle armour which murakami found in the temple. as it has been mentioned in the manga that the guyver unit is only the advents basic armour!

this could be the reason why apollon is able to mimic his opponents abilities. its just part of the armours characturistics, adding to murakami/miribili's other zoalord abilities.

I cant remember and haven't looked to check but from what I remember the unit G was the creators 'space' suit or probably more accurate to say 'environment' suit so it could be that they did have battle armour that was different to the guyver suit ...afterall they didn't get as much of a hardcore warrior upgrade like humans  do wearing the Guyver units so its possible they had different armour for battle...

in one of the later volumes, where it was showing the evolution of humans and zoanoids and the reason for the advents departure from earth. it was told how as an experiment, the advents decided to equip a human with their 'standard' armour, which was a unit G.

 

so basically, if you're going to refer to something as standard or basic, then there's going to be an option for premium or higher grade of sorts?

 

just my thoughts about it, anyway.

yeah with the name used, semantically, you are correct... but I was looking at the purpose for which they wore the ''armour''... ie when they wore the unit G they were not going to war

kind of raises the question would the type of race that goes to the effort of creating whole races as weapons even bother to fight with their own hands? or are they just puppet master kings moving their home made pawns? or would they get their hands dirty and just needed the weapons to make up numbers on the battlefield?

(if this has already been answered then I cant remember right now!! )

I always pictured on my minds eye that the advents were smallish frail creatures that had more brain than brawn. Course, since then advents is actually an alliance of different species this is probably wrong.

Actually, considering humans are insanely strong when bio-boosted, I think you are probably right. We might well be giants by their standards. Colossal, muscular, long-limbed, hairy brutes with tiny heads.

you would think that with the OVA intro. Yet  they need need physical ships, physical suits, all of this being of biological technology that fuses one way or another to it's user. It's safe to say they are physical beings, but probably limited in war potential. 

from what we gather, they needed muscle for war... a long war or preparing for one. They certainly had the patience, and were easily scared of their own works. We don't know if they were long lived, or generations, or multiple species, or a combination of all those aspects. But one thing is for certain, they needed soldiers, and didn't want to risk their lives or were simply unsuited for the task. After so many years, I really had hoped to learn a little more about them, but we don't need anymore branching plots. Also... why Sho or Agito haven't seen them is beyond me. Since both had after all, seen the recorded imagery of those periods.
