April 27, 201411 yr I regret not getting some figures last time, I didn't expect they'd dry up so quickly. I will be ready to jump on this if it gets released. Also if figure sales ar are good and popularity increases....
May 8, 201411 yr One source has recently listed the much anticipated Guyver figma to be released sometime this summer. However, the Good Smile Company's Web site does not confirm this prediction. Should this expected release date indeed come to flourishion, the Guyver figma may be spotlighted at the Wonder Festival 2014 Summer event. With the release date of the Guyver figma being pushed back, sources on the Web, including with the previously mentioned, have indicated that it will be released sometime in the month of November, 2014. However, a recently updated list of expected figurine releases on the Good Smile Company's Web site has not confirmed this new prediction. Considering the announcement last month of the sudden illness with the series' author, Yoshiki Takaya, the Guyver figma may be put out on the market next year, 2015. May 8, 201411 yr I'm so getting that guyver figma as soon as it is available on amazon. Edited May 8, 201411 yr by odin
May 15, 201411 yr Figma Guyver would work perfectly in one of these poses!! BFC Guyver looks OK, not really had a big play with it , but I think Figma will work better assuming it will be more dynamically poseable! a heads up to those buying these effects parts...none of the stage acts shown in the publicity shots ( the clear plastic arms and bases) come with the effect part itself, which sucks because it costs about £20 for 3 of them.... mine are all used up on other figures and I bought this for DBZ figuarts really, but I had to get the Guyver on there just to see! June 25, 201411 yr Does anyone know what the price of the figure will be? I really want one but I think it's going to be a bit expensive since most Figmas are
June 25, 201411 yr I need a larger version, state! EDIT - I just purchased the Hobby Japan August 2014 issue. I'll scan a much larger image and share as soon as it gets here. Edited June 25, 201411 yr by Vertexer
June 25, 201411 yr No price listed but a release date of November 2014 is. Damn, we have to wait until November Let's just hope it actually comes out and they end up doing other figures as well.
July 11, 201411 yr I think Guyver 1 figma maybe 15 or 16 cm. Does anyone know? Thanks sudo P.s bottom left corner blue arrow
July 11, 201411 yr im hoping 15cm as that will fit better wth the bfcmax Guyver Gigantic, at 16cm it would be nearly same sizre as bfc g1 so I think its 15cm... and is it true its a nov 2014 release date??? so a small chance of getting it before Christmas then??? excellent!! in fact im just pleased it hasn't disappeared all together!...
July 11, 201411 yr At this point I will not believe the "November 2014" release date until I see it go up for preorder. Especially since the figure that was shown beside the Guyver shots, comes out in later October, and has been up for Preorder since last month. Not to mention there are figmas coming out later than Nov 2014 that are already up for preorder. It's just odd that NO site has it up for preorder yet.
July 11, 201411 yr someone mentioned somewhere earlier that guyver will be 30years old next year. so it wouldn't surprise me that the preorder will be available in november for a 2015 release. could be why the release for earlier this year was delayed?
July 13, 201411 yr I can't wait for anything Guyver to happen. I make custom figures like marvel legends so I am really looking forward to this figure because of the figma joints. Everything looks solid on this figure from what I can see. Love the new Magasmasher joints.
July 13, 201411 yr just maybe nov 14 is when the preorders will start?... because it does seem likely they would wait for the 30th anniversary to release it... (would be better if they contiuned BFC max to honour that achievement though!!) where the megasmasher joints maybe good , I don't much like the look of the megasmasher orbs themselves , hope there is more detail on the final product..
July 20, 201411 yr At this point I will not believe the "November 2014" release date until I see it go up for preorder. Not to mention there are figmas coming out later than Nov 2014 that are already up for preorder. It's just odd that NO site has it up for preorder yet. Yeah that's pretty much where I am with it as well. It didn't help that GSC's Twitter pretty much blew me off when I asked about it.
July 23, 201411 yr Something that bothers me about this figure that was also a problem with the BFC- is that extra bit under the Megasmasher plates necessary? I know it gives the illusion that also the top two abs are moving along with the rest of the upper torso, but could they simply have just left that extra bit out? Have it articulate right beneath the smasher? I remember right around the time the BFC line was in full swing a lot of people were making fan art of Guyver 1 using the BFC model as a reference and erroneously gave him another set of "half-abs". I tried to photoshop it out and then it just makes the top two abs look way too long. I wonder why they couldn't either bring the megasmasher plates down/make them larger, or fix the proportions of the abs.
July 24, 201411 yr good point BBdude ...it seems max factory suffers from the same ''make a prototype and don't bother refining it, just release it, no-one will be bothered or notice'' problem as other figure companys... i.e Bandai and their sh figuarts... or in this case they've probably just scaled down the BFC and tweaked some of the joints?... it still looks good but it would be nice if it was accurate!
July 27, 201411 yr It's at the current wonfes and still with a 11/2014 date and now with a price of ¥5,200. I still think we won't see it this year but it may go up for pre-order in Nov.
