I really look forward to seeing the cover of the next volume, once it comes out. I have to confess, I don't really have any ideas what it might look like this time.

Both Gigantics were on the cover a few volumes ago. All of the covers seem to have a unique design; you really think they'd repeat one?

Maybe they should have either Tetsuro and Mizuki on Silha, or Guyot with Valcuria.

Ah, I take back what I said a long time ago about being disappointed with Val

I totally thought this was a mere revenge story, getting back at Sho for Lisker's death. Now that I know she's in this for her own reasons, it's a bit more interesting. I wouldn't have expected her to be trying to upstage Lisker, considering the way it was revealed she was related to him (The somewhat affectionate "Oswald..." at the end of June's chapter).

Well now that we have the flashback and backstory explained and outta the way, let's hope next chapter we get updates on the crew

This was shown way too late imo.

I believe we need to see more from valkyria than her simply deteriorating and being taken out. I think that this development of her background, warrants her being much more involved and some key event happening.

something like shou gaining a new ally, somehow helping her to resolve the obvious issues with her CM.

I think we could see some very powerful dialogue between aptom and her. He defected from cronos and is on shou's team now.

although Val's motivation is clearly different... it's a tough one. Takaya sensei does not disappoint with his character development.

 

I'm not sure I want to see another fight between guyvers though. not in such short time. I think it would make for a bit of repetitiveness. whatever the case, Val is no match for shou anyway. any fight would be fairly short. That's probably why she teamed up with guyot of course. and now we realise, guyot probably has a clear idea of her motivations. she was an inspector and he probably was aware of her family connections.

I can imagine Val attacking shou and shou holding back to see if he can negotiate. and some heated dialogue between them. some flashbacks. perhaps shou can explain that lisker didn't lose the fight, that his CM malfunctioned.  that shou got lucky.

In such a rage, I don't think Val would simply buy that his CM malfunctioned. It would be a very Sho thing to do, to try and talk her into peace, but I doubt she'd just simply accept that and join him. Maybe unless she was pushed into a similar situation with her CM and Sho spared her, would be her "moment of clarity".

I wonder when she'll make her move against Sho.

Would an American really think in terms of 'low-born'? Because I seriously doubt it.
