Larz Zahn Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 the fallen character came from dreamwaves, transformers war within: the dark ages. pretty bad dude, he took bludegeon and a few others as a apprenctice, and beat the crap outta grimlock. that in itself would be considered a miracle. i didnt really care for the movie that much, the graphics were outstanding its true, the action was awesome. but i had a problem with the plot and a lot of the crude humor. plus i really dont know why they had to introduce the fallen so early on. and.... i really loved the orginial transformers the animated movie matrix of leadership. not some dagger like device to stab robots with. lol. Salkafar Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Upon further reflection, I have to say there were many ways in which the movie could have been improved. - Less stupid and bawdy jokes. (Although I liked both Judy and Wheelie). - The climax should have been more climactic. - The Transformers, particularly the Decepticons, should have been more distinctive. - The Autobots a little less... deadly. I hope they will be a little more serious with part 3 - Although I have difficulty imagining people joking in the face of the physical annihilation of not just their species but their entire planet. Sure, the fight scenes, CGI and all is awesome... but so much pointless stuff.The Twins were awful, hating every second they shared on screen. Sam's mum stfu please... pointless... hash brownies... I'll do anything for an A professor. Blah! Sector 7 guy's G-string did not belong and was not needed. Jetfire farting, having a walking stick?... Blah! They wasted so much time with pointless and unfunny comic relief characters that they didn't even have time to introduce all the new transformers... They were just like "hey... RAWR"... no names or anything. Sam going to Autobot heaven... wtf? Not needed. The Fallen was such a weak character. I agree with every pointer there. I have to give my thoughts on this matter. I went there to see the sequel with high hopes and everything. I had faith in Michael Bay (he's one of my heroes) and thought it would be better then the 1st one. To my horror it was the worst work of michael bay i have ever seen. Its like he was so desperate to make some money he just threw in a bunch of robots dukin it out without a plot for over 2 hours. Atleast the first film had a since of purpose. Ok here were the issues with me. 1.) Since when did Transformers become Terminators?! THey cant transform into humans, hence why they transformed into vehicles to dusguise themselves. That actress was so lame too, when she came walking out of the college building like she was a bad girl. Me and my brother made jokes about it, when she came walking out we would say things like "UH! I am a girl! Uh!" lol. 2.) What was up with all the sexual refrences?! I hated that! Unwanted, that was really unnecissary for the film. THe giant balls, the humping the leg, the whole Terminator girl. all that shouldnt have been in the film. It would only made it better because it wouldnt have been so long. 3.) THe Film was really a kill all the decepticons and no autobot dies. I hated that! Atleast Jazz died in the first film. Well i forgot that the motorcycle girls got killed but it just wanst the same as seeing all those other decepticons getting killed. 4.) The whole transformers heaven?! ARE YOU FRICKEN KIDDING ME!!?!! It couldnt possibly get lamer then that. "You have to go back sam." Come on, again shouldnt have been in the film. 5.) The Whole Fart scene, WTF?! Its like he was stretching this films to all the audiences to make money that he forgot the whole concept of what Transformers is all about. 6.) Character development, where was that at?! The entire film i am wondering who is this character that iam looking at?! He should have taken all the stuff out, that is above this bulleton, and replaced it with character development, so people could relate to the autobots the way sam did with bumbblebee. 7.) Bumbblebee was talking at the end of the first film, contriversy. 8.) The Twins...dont even get me started on them, the worst characters in a film that i have ever scene. They even beat Jarjarbinges (though i dont think i spelled that right). 9.) I really thought that in this film you were gonna see starscream betray the decepitcons for a while and join the autobots for a while. But most of all i was hoping that we were gonna see the bonding between starscream and megan. You know like in armada when the girl becomes real close friends with starscream and when he dies she all sad and everything. The first film was about sam and bumblebee's relationship, and i thought this one was gonna be about megan and starscream's releationship. It was setting it up too, with starscream getting beaten by megatron and megan doubting her relationship with sam. Major dissappointment there. 10.) Really my overall thoughts about this film, a bunch of throw together action with a lack of plot. The only good from the film, some cool fight scenes, prime finally dies but of course he comes back, and the relationship between startscream and megatron is further explored. I'd doubt that they'd take an idea from the Unicron Trilogy. Not many TF fans liked them, I thought Armada was alright but the other two were terrible. Besides that, they're trying to make Movie Starscream more like G1 Starscream, not Unicron Trilogy Starscream. G1 Starscream just wanted to usurp Megatron and become the leader of the Decepticons. Thus, Movie Screamer is probably gonna try to kill Megatron at some point in the third movie. It's been suspected that he was one of the jets that fired missiles at Megatron in the first movie. 10.) The Transformers movies are based on all things G1, so if Starscream betrays Megatron(which I can see happening in a third movie), he just do it and become the leader of the Decepticons. Starscream in Generation 1 has no morals. Quote

Also, the revived Megs in ROTF is suppose to be Galvatron but they kept the Megatron name because they didn't want to confuse viewers. Quote

Now he knows that the allspark is just a vessel. He might look for a system to drain of solar power to make a new allspark and rebel against Megatron. Quote

The fight scenes were amazing but the movie felt like it was too long. The whole drama part in the beginning could have been taken out and the movie would have been better, I think so at least. Quote

I agree with you totally. It's a sign that movies today have bad scriptwriters or at least post the question where have the good writers gone? I think if Megatron is not resurrected, it would make a better story. Becos it's give Starscream more screentime and also who wouldn't love to see that traitor have his own show. The Fallen seeing that Megatron being so weak from a villain standpoint might as well make Starscream command and do the job of finding his ancient lieutenants on Earth for the Key to the Sun Harvester.
