durendal
Yeah, saw that earlier today. So they're ditching Fat Thor and we do see Thor working out on screen. This will obviously tie-in with GotG3. Also saw Female Thor. You gotta love the dedication Natalie Portman did here, she got huge biceps. Then where did Mjolnir come from? Unless this is a variant were looking at. The multiverse literally opened up a can of worms.

durendal
Haha, I love this trailer. That look on Thor's face when he met Jane again. Priceless. I'm actually anticipating this more than Doctor Strange MOM. Preview of Christian Bale and Russel Crowe is certainly a pleasant surprise. Tora Tan
I think he is called Gorr the god hunter. aka Christiam Bale (I'm Batman).
jerrygoodman
Actually it's Gorr the God Butcher. Here's the backstory: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Gorr_(Earth-616)
Salkafar
He's a ripoff of Desak the God Slayer, which would be less offensive if that character wasn't so recent. Seriously, they have the exact same backstory. Aaron is trash.
durendal
Meh, Marvel and DC have been ripping off each other for decades. No surprise there. Just comes down to how well they present the character.
Salkafar
You misunderstand, Durendal. Desak is from Thor's own comic. Not even that long ago.
jerrygoodman
Deask does look an awful lot like Darkseid...

I have to admit, I've not been an avid follower of comics recently and I've narrowed my reading list down to a few titles. Thor not included, and that's not going to change anytime soon. Although it's nice to spot easter eggs while watching the movies, it is a bit refreshing to find out about something you didn't know about. And if Desak drew a lot of flak from the fans, then I doubt that they'll even consider this in the MCU.
