So I've seen the first actual figures being sold on yahoo auctions today, so they must have been shipped to Japanese customers.

Has anyone received any emails confirming shipping yet? I haven't heard from Tokyo otaku mode about it yet.

Hopefully we get some first hand picture of the new figma soon!

My two arrived at my sisters house yesterday :) But will be awhile before I get them in person, waiting for X-Mas season to be over as customs will be going crazy checking boxes at the mo.

It looks better than guyver 1 from what I see, at heart there's a small piece of the armor between the eyes on tissue one. My guyver 1 looks a bit lopsided in the face as well

Guyver 3 should be nice.  Personally don't really care about Guyver 2.  Would like to see a new character instead.

Ditto to this. The BFC line covered volumes 1-10 quite nicely, but I'm keen to see more of the Zoalords introduced in the later volumes along with Aptom Omega Blast and Apollyon!!! Shizu and the Liberatus would also be sweet!! Would need multiples!

I am so glad to see the mega-smasher aren't painted grey this time. What they did to Guyver 1's mega-smasher was lulz.

got one of my orders this morning, have to admit i really think goodsmile do an excellent job.

and the figures look great, well done max!

the only thing i'm alittle disappointed with is that i really thought there should of been some sort of extra bonus with this figure. as when you think about it, the last G2f release was nearly 30years ago!

please, please, max, release val in black lycra! hehehe.

So I received my figures today, vat and clearance fee printed on the box came to £30. On top of the £99 I paid it totals about  £130. UK based shops are selling the figures for around £116 for the pair!

Does anyone else find it more expensive to preorder this way?

What are the benefits to preordering / importing ourselves?

My pair came to about $130 shipped to my door so about $65 each shipped.

And I've seen them on US Ebay range from $65- $115 each shipped.

Not bad then. Do you pay taxes on imports? Or courier release fees? It would be worth it if I didn't have to pay it. With figure shops offering it cheaper, I'm not sure it's worth ordering from  Japan.

In the US we generally do not pay any taxes, duties or fees for buying small things like these from overseas.  The only additional cost to the figure is if the seller charges for shipping separately and does not included it in the total price as "Shipped".  The most  I've paid for shipping on figures from Japan has been anywhere from $10-$25.
