Juggernought Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I'd say the 1st 2 WG2 would win through his immediate CPM boost but the last 2 would be WG. Quote
*zeo Posted March 26, 2008 Author Posted March 26, 2008 Yes, the CPM boost gives an immediate 2x speed boost. WG's gravity shield ultimately lets him go faster but takes time to charge up. So 0-5 seconds WG2 is accelerating 2x faster than WG. 5-15 WG starts to increase acceleration and closes the gap to 1.5x 15-30 WG starts to catch up and so they are tied at this point. 30-60 WG starts to have a pretty massive gravitational charge and can now travel faster than WG2. Okay, next question... What is the head beam and what is it's original purpose? Quote
Aranor Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Woo Hoo! I got the last one! While it appears to be a laser it is body head channeled and focused into a beam. Purpose, I'm guessing heat sink. (means of releasing heat) Quote
Spartan Warlord Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 the head beam is a lazer and its orginaal purpose was to release excess heat that builds up Quote
Juggernought Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I got a question...not sure if it's been asked before, what are the 2 red orbs on either side of the antennae. I believe Guyver 1 displayed this. Quote
gelionlegends Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 thats been asked a lot though not in this post, some think thats its linked with the hearing using the antenna to increase it's power. then again we don't see guyver 3 with them but some believe that its hidden under some of the armour or in a different place other than where its on g1 and 2. though i have to say i was wondering when someone would ask that sort of question Quote
*zeo Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 Yes, officially we know nothing about the red orbs at the base of the Guyver antenna/horn. Though it is interesting to note the Gigantic has more of them, perhaps part of the head beam system? Anyway, the correct answer was the head beam is an Infrared Laser system that the unit uses to vent internal body heat. Unlike the normal vent system on the face the head beam is more efficient and would work even in the vacuum of space. This however does mean the head beam has a limited range, since infrared lasers get distorted and absorbed by the atmosphere. Next Question... How does the Guyver enhance the host's physical blows? Quote
Destroyer Guyver Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 The Kinetic Amplifiers on the forearms hips and lower legs. Quote
Juggernought Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Would it also have to deal with how the unit siphons and uses gravitational power to enhance its weaponry ect? My guess is it would do the same but focus it towards amplifying the hosts physical attributes...similar to how someone with telekinetic abilities could use it to fortify their strength as well. Quote
Aranor Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Firstly, by bio bossting the host.... The kinetic boosters channel gravitational energy into the host/units forearms and fists making the molecular structure/matter more dense thus increasing the force of impact. Quote
*zeo Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Okay, full answer... The Guyver organism partially merges with the host, augmenting the host on both a genetic and cellular level. Though the host bones and muscles aren't replaced they are Bio-Boosted by this merger, increasing their cellular growth to peak (means muscle and bone density are increased to peak levels-this is why the host physical conditioning is irrevelant) and infused with energy that both helps fuel the host biology and increases the host density and thus grants the host Guyver strength. The physical alterations, like the replaced heart and lungs, provide far more volume of blood flow, super oxygenated blood, and super efficient metabolism. Finally the Guyver has a system of organs that channel the gravitational energy from the gravity control orb through the body and can be used instantly to boost momentum by a factor of 10x (allowing the Guyver to punch or kick far harder than normal speed and mass would normally allow) This compensates for the fact the Guyver has neither 100x the mass nor 100x the speed of the host, both of which is normally needed to give 100x the power of a punch or kick. It's also very efficient method of directly channeling energy into a physical attack. In fact it's this mechanism that allows for the Gigantic Gravity Knuckle (aka Power Punch). The Gigantic just has two additional gravity control orbs, combined with the 12 power amps that boost the power from those orbs 20x, and all channeled through the knuckle metallic orbs for a focused and directed gravity energy boosted punch that hits like a battleship cannon blast. Next question... What are the pair of metal orbs on the Guyver's face and how do they work? Quote
Juggernought Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Well i can't get as deep and detailed as you but...if i had my guess, they are sound emitters; able to vibrate on a frequency that humans are able to detect (for speech) and since our throats work much in the same way, the guyver replicates it without us having to move our tongues or jaws to create the same vibrations. They also vibrate at a higher frequency to the point where they start to effect matter on a molecular level by causing them to resonate well outside their normal boundaries. They are also versatile enough to focus the direction of the vibration to act like a weapon as well. Quote
*zeo Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Yes, good answer... The sonic orb emitters take over all sound generation for the host, the unit actually removes the host vocal cords as they are not needed, just like the regression of the digestive organs. The two orbs actual work together in a process called detuning that helps efficiently transmit the sound energy to a given target, allowing the sound energy to be better focused and to reach farther than would normally otherwise be possible as the two sound signals play off each other. Calculations of this weapon's effect when producing a weapons level sonic blast indicate the energy output of the emitters are approximate to the head beam, think up to a ton of TNT worth of energy, and capable of vaporizing zoanoids in relative close range (exact range unknown but should be at least up to 50 feet and perhaps a little further) with lesser effect at range. Guyver Zero effectively used this weapon to vaporize a whole group of zoanoids at once, and G1 used it to take out a squad of Vamores. So range is close to that of the head beam. The Gigantic improves on this by providing 2-3 additional orb emitters that thanks to the detuning process greatly increases both range and power. Agito nicely demonstrates this when fighting Imakarum as Gigantic Dark with a blast that vaporized some of his horns and destroying a tower structure a good distance behind Imakarum. So like the Head Beam the Gigantic Sonic Busters may be 5-7x more powerful than the host unit, though that is just my guess estimate since nothing is officially stated on the Gigantic's sonic firepower. Okay, next question... How does the Guyver fly? Quote
Aranor Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Simple answer, gravity orb. The orb channels the energy in the form of gravity creating a field around the Guyver which repels from the celestial bodies gravity field. I am guessing in space a form of repulsion within the field would thrust it in the direction desired. Are we getting graded? Quote
*zeo Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Sorry, but the answer isn't that simple. Besides gravity doesn't repell gravity! Quote
WarriorZoalord Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 my guess is that the gravity orb actually creates a field that lesses/negates gravity the way the way the guyver wishes, thus making him float into the air, movement on the otherhand, i have no idea, maybe it has something to do with the wormhole that can be created by the pressure cannon? Quote
Aranor Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I should clear up my response. Okay, next question...How does the Guyver fly? Gravity orb. How: It syphons energy from the higher dimension, boost, hyperspace, generating a field around the body. Within this field it can direct energy liek the currents in water thrusting it through space. However instead of pushing the energy, it pulls the unit through space along those energies. Kinda like batmans grappling hook. Only in any direction. Quote
*zeo Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Okay the answer is... The Guyver flies by channeling its gravitational energy into the gravity gyro organs located in the hips! Remember we already established that the Guyver has organs specifically designed to channel gravitational energy throughout the body. The momentum enhancers being just one example of how that energy gets channeled. The Gravity Gyro's convert the gravitational energy into momentum for hovering or flight, the balance between the two providing navigational control. This is similar to the organs within the wrists that focus the gravitational energy to produce the pressure cannon through the Guyver's hands. Next Question... What is the Pressure Cannon? Quote
Juggernought Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 A concentration of gravitational energy that the guyver creates via the organs in the guyver's wrists. I guess its akin to a white whole attack, since black holes draw energy in, it would take outward moving energy to create the armor piercing effect the pressure cannon has. Or it could be a highly condensed form of gravitational energy suppressed by an energy field until it comes into contact with a target or otherwise and is fired by focusing even more energy towards the gathered energy but in a propulsive fashion. Quote
WarriorZoalord Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I thought a Pressure Cannon was a Wormhole? Quote
