Matt Bellamy Posted October 31, 2007 Author Posted October 31, 2007 , unless of course, life in general is doing its dirty deed to keep him from what he loves to do. You know... wiritng is not something I love to do. It can be downright tedious sometimes. Finding time to do it can be frustrating. Artwork really has always been my main focus. My fic was always ment to be a small side story to that main fic. What I do love however, is creating. But that is the easy part. It's the fleshing out that takes the time of course. BUT, for the last 3 years, I have been working a midnight shift job. More recently I have switched to a day shift job... and quite frankly, I am finding that I have a lot more energy, and am finding out that I need less sleep to feel rested, and now have more time during the day to do things. So... I am not making any promises... but I HAVE writen 3 pages in ther last week. Is it a good sign? We shall see. Quote

And you're 3 pages closer to completion of the story. Good luck, Matt. I'll be rooting for you. Quote
McAvoy Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Trust me I know the feeling on working the graveyard shift/night check/night shift hours or whatever you want to call them. Of course the Navy unoffically calls night check, stay check. It's hard finding time except on the weekends to do anything. You get home, you are tired, so you go to bed and you end up sleeping in anyway because there is nothing really better to do but stay in that nice cozy bed. Quote
OnyxPhoenix Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I agree w/ Armageddon. When it's done and you're liking what you've created, then it's ready for others. Take your time, Matt. Perfection and creative thinking are never good when they are too rushed. Let go, go with the flow, etc. We'll stick around w/ drooling chops, but we have patience, and faith. Quote
