W'Kar Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Of all things that I have witnessed, is it these moments that will remain with me, or will it be of better times? Will I be forced to look upon myself in the afterlife and despair, or can I look upon myself and know I did what I had to do under such demanding circumstances. Albass sat her diary down on the table in front of her and sighed. ‘Too much’, she thought, ‘Too much has been lost. Her hands reached down and plucked a brush from the table and began to stroke her hair gently. A beautiful woman she was always called. An extravagant specimen. She had been called many things in many days. Leader, ruler, general, sister, lover. She knew the End of Days was coming. Her friends were nearly spent out. She picked up her diary again. Kenji had died a few years before. A creature known as Zagam had killed him in battle. He had given his life for us. We had made a preemptive strike against a cache of Lycanlords fringing around Anti Advent Republic territory. He, and Deus, went to war with a contingent of troops. Our scans had shown none of the generals and the Lieutenants were within the battle area and we had set up a distraction elsewhere, leading a fleet of creator vessels to converge and attack the Order, giving us the time we needed to enact the plan. It went sour quickly. The Lycanlords were not the problem. It was Zagam and Ereshkigal. Ereshkigal had attacked Deus out of nowhere with forty Lycanlords and gave Zagam the time he had needed to do something horrible to Kenji. At first we had thought him alright, but that was not so. That Red Matrix inside of Zagam, and that beastial stare. Even as a guyver the eyes of Zagam were full of rage and hate. Deus said he had witnessed Zagam’s control medal glow and began to tear Kenji’s armor off of his body. Not like a unit removal, but a process far more hideous. However it was done, the W’Kar Reproduction Unit was pulled out of his very bones. The screaming could be heard to every guyver enhanced being around. The bare exposure to space tore the blood from his body and froze him mid suffering, his flesh peeling off of him. The unit was taken by the Order. I will never forget that scream, it was as though an angel had been slain and vented the suffering of an entire race. Quote
gall_4185 Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 *Salivates* Wow...it's almost a pavlovian response when reading your new stuff now Quote
Juggernought Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Oh man oh man...my boi Zagam is really enjoying this. He is truly an extension of Anubis' will. Quote
Sully Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Oh man oh man...my boi Zagam is really enjoying this. He is truly an extension of Anubis' will. A simple thing to remember is Dreadnought normally stops himself from using the full extent of his powers and has no taste for death of others without their been a reason for it, and then it's a quick a death as possible. Zagam has no such limits and would simply kill you for been alive and for him sensing the fact and will enjoy it. Quote
W'Kar Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 Indeed, Zagam enjoys violence. Everyone has a dark side, even Jason. Quote
Juggernought Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 True manifestation of what Jason's dark side is like eh. Deliciously horrifying. Quote

Juggernought Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Does zagam derive energy and power from the suffering of others much the same way anubis does? And since he's got w'kar properties now is it possible for him to absorb the element and gain power that way....even though more than likely he'd offer it up to anubis for assimilation. Quote

No, he does not gain energy the same way as Anubis does (who really just drains the bio energy from people, adrenaline just increases the level of energy), Anubis may do it for a reason though he enjoys it. For Zagam it is best explained as a fetish. Drain from the element itself, not a chance. Not even Anubis could harness the full energy of the element at once. Quote
Armageddon Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Drain from the element itself, not a chance. Not even Anubis could harness the full energy of the element at once. Not in this stage of development or not at all? That was very satisfying. I'm glad you're almost done, cause after reading that to quench the thirst, I can't wait to read the complete piece. Nice work, Allen. Quote
W'Kar Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 No Comment on that answer. But thanks for the comment. Quote
Armageddon Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 No Comment on that answer. But thanks for the comment. Aww, guess I'll have to wait to see what else the great W'Kar has in store for that. After your absence, people got worried and when you returned, we cheered in unison. Your thanks are well deserved. Welcome back, you've returned to your former glory, Allen! Quote
Kaiser Dragoon Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 It's definately going to be an interesting read. Quote
