Sully Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Allen told me about this once, wonder if remember it right... It's broke into two. W Kar So it is kinda like Wa Kar Herd a funny story about this name though. But I'll leave that for another day. Quote
Guest Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 You know I alwas wondered about that too, whenever I tried to say it, it alwas ended up sounding like three indevidual letters, like W K R Quote
Armageddon Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 I wondered about that too. When I first wondered onto the Meetings fic (in fact that was the first story i read at first). I wondered how the hell do you pronounce W'Kar? Guess I found out now huh? I await your reply... Quote
Zeus Thunderbolt Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 I always thought that it was pronounced "Wuh' Kar". Please tell us all what that story was, In a previous post, I thought that Allen got the name from the Babylon 5's own Narn Ambassador called G'Kar and just switched the "G" with a "W", but then he said it was not the case with W'kar . Kaiser Dragoon Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 Hey ZT we thought on the same line, that's how I've been pronoucing it as well and thought of the same idea with the Narn G'Kar. I'm also interested in hearing this story, its been a day since you posted so c'mon give us a funny story to enjoy. Quote
Guest Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 I know you guys can get into some lengthy discussions however I didn't imagine that something as simple as word pronounciation could be extended this far Quote
