Guyver

In the OVA continuity, it's established that Guyvers can telepathically communicate with each other via the organisms on their back. Is this a thing in the manga? I can't remember.

Yah know I noticed some thing about the guyver anime and manga there arn't many femal zoanoids. What's the deal other then the odd ball zoanoid created to do one spacific task there arn't really any femal zoanoids the only ones I've ever seen that were just lowly grunts were in the two live action movies. So why not? One other thing that has got me terribly confused I've probly asked this question before but never got a real answer. Zoalord Gresilda(sp?) or if you prefer Zoalord Shizu. When the host of the guyver unit dies a sudden death in battle, the unit is lost. I think we're all agreed on this fact, judging by previous posts. But what if the host were to die of old age? I think we touched on disease in a previous post and that it's believed that it would heal/prevent illnesses. But every creature dies a natural death eventually. What are your thoughts on the matter?

went to comic con birmingham yesterday and spotted this guyver bust it caught my eye i headed straight to the stall only to find that it had been sold and for display purposes only, If it had of been for sale it would of cost £160 which i thought was a bit steep since i have seen the kit for about £80. There wasnt much stuff guyver related i saw two models ranging from 20-40 pounds. No guyver comics or dvds even had a look at the figma stall to check for any leaflets or info on the new guyver figure. Guess its waiting game.

Long time fan of the series and I was just wondering if I pre-order the volumes will I get a physical copy? I'm assuming it'll be in Japanese if so. Or would I just get access to translated scans here? Or both? Sorry if this question was answered in one of the pinned topics.

I was wondering if there were more recent images of Shizu from the manga that could be suitable for use as an avatar at another site. I tried to use the one that I used here, but it didn't work so well. I'm leaning towards the image of her used in the "cast of characters" page from when Guyver is published in Shonen Ace/Compilation volumes (Cast of Characters for Volume 16 onwards to present), or any newer image of Shizu that's similar. Thanks for any suggestions or help

So, it's been about 5 months since vol. 21 came out in Japan. That means about one more month before vol. 22 comes out. Does anyone know an exact date when it will be released?

i had this vinyl model gonna start it soon. i have just sent off for this head of guyver one gonna take a month to get here hope i can get he paint work right of both models. I am looking for a guyver unit cast but cant find find one .

Ok, I am officially a Guyver collector after receiving my fantastic Guyver I figure!!! whoohoo! But I like a little 'action' in my action figure, and the parts fall off easily (e.g. arms) when I play with it. Any suggestions of solving this without losing articulation? Thanks.

So I've been a fan for a long time and have read most of the manga up to book 30, now from what I understand is this was the place to go to get the translations if you bought the Japanese books. Now my question is, is this still active? if I buy the Japanese books can I still get the translations? Or has everyone moved on because from what I've seen there hasn't been any new chapters in a long time.

Anyone care to share their ideas on what they think will happen in the next few releases? I'm sure agito is after a zoacrystal for shizu. But that will put her in apolloyn's line of fire. I'm not convinced guyot will turn up and meet agito just yet, I think he will be more involved with sho and aptom. Apolloyn is after guyot and the unit remover at the moment I think, so I suspect agito will walk away with 2 zoacrystals.

I just recently got my vol 1-3 translated Guyver books from that one place in Singapore. I like the look and the orginal manga feel to them and everything but I have some questions. There seems to be some unused or new art that was put into the books. I mean just look at the drawing of Guyver II. He no longer looks like a carbon copy of Guyver I. You can see the same with Zerebubute with his black chest plate. This has probably already been brung up before, if it has I apologize.

I was trolling around ebay looking to blow some cash on a little geek wear and I searched for guyver and I found a lot of cool max factory figures. The thing that bothered me most is the freak'n price. 100+ for even stupidest ones were they always this expensive or is this a recent thing.

During the OVA Guyver series when Sho and Tetsuo meet with the reporter guy and Sho bio-boosted in front of him how does Chronos cover up the whole thing besides bombing the dude's office? Were all of the witnesses killed? Also, would Chronos have been able to cover up Sho bio-boosting on national television? Or maybe in front of a large group of people?

In 2001 a rare Guyver Anime Production Cell was up for sale on ebay. What was really good about it was that this was signed by english voice actor Tom Charles. Well, I took a chance and bought it from a guy in NewYork. I waited two weeks for the air mail delivery, then a month, and then eight weeks. I started to get just a little anxious. Guyver II F AKA Inspector Valcuria has been kicking ass and taking names alot lately in recent Guyver issues, having stolen Chronos' first man made guyver unit for some unknown purpose. Literally. I rewatched Guyver(1991) and he comes off like a hot head at the beginning of the movie. He's got a short fuse and he's a bit immature. He's learning some form of martial arts and he literally can't spar. He's easily distracted, and often he's told to pay attention. So this Asian guy knocks him in the nose.
