  1. Cool. I just thought of that because it's kind of a tradition among my family to bake things like cookies, bread, and to make chocolates at this time of year. I knew you'd like the bread more than the cookies or the chocolate.
  2. Tangenitally related to the subject of sandwiches, I was thinking of sending you some home made bread for Christman, but I worried about it getting moldy in the mail. Would you settle for a nice card?
  3. I'm glad you're feeling better, Ryuki. It's weird what happened in that game; did you tell whoever gave you it about what happened?
  4. I hope you guys get your Togos shops soon. Those guys make a very good sandwich.
  5. I've tried Subway subs over here; I like Togos better.
  6. It was a sandwich from Togos, one of those foot-long hogies with turkey, lettuce and tomato. P: I had two of them, but they were pre-cut down the middle so I got four meals out of them. And let me tell you, even half of a sandwich that size is a fairly good meal.
  7. (OOC: Imakarum's an NPC in this, I thought; Kenji's in the Chronos building with the Hyper Zoanoids) "So, is there something else you wanted to do today, kid?" "No," Kenji says, looking over his shoulder as he briefly senses something outside the building. "I think I'll just go to my room and take a nap, okay?" "That's all right," the lead Hyper Zoanoid, a large man named Joseph, says warmly. "You go and make yourself comfortable. We'll go see if there's anything that needs to be done here." "Bye, then," Kenji says, clutching at his stuffed tiger as he turns and heads for his room. "Hey," Joseph says, seeing the little Zoalord's distress. "Why don't I go and tuck you in? You think you'd like that?" "Thanks," Kenji says with a fond smile. "I don't think Dad's going to finished out there before I fall asleep." "There's always that chance," Joseph points out, linking arms with the youngest of Chronos' Zoalords and leading him to the room in the building that had been prepared for him. "But, you might be right about that."
  8. Chapter 21 up; chapter 22 in-progress.
  9. I'm currantly eating the last of my gourmet sandwiches. I'm mildly depressed. It's a very good sandwich, but I wish I had more of them.
  10. And I've had a pretty great day; did some banking, bought a couple gourmet sandwiches, and took a long, hot shower to top it all off.
  11. I don't have in-home A.C., but I've seen it advertised quite a bit in the late spring and early summer months.
  12. No, I don't; it's one of the many reasons why I hesitate to get out of bed on days like this.
  13. We have a heater in the house, but we only turn it on for a few minutes at a time to save money. So it's really freakin' cold.
  14. Wow, that looks really great, Larz! I love the half-light half-shadow look of the picture. The glowing points look awesome, too.
  15. My feet are freezing, and I'm wearing my fleece slippers and a pair of thick socks. I really dislike winter.
  16. Kibosh. Kibosh. Kibosh. Kibosh. Kibosh. Kibosh. Kibosh. It's a funny sounding word, isn't it.
  17. -Dad, I'm really bored,- Kenji says, sighing as the Hyper Zoanoids escort him into the top level of the building. -Are you going to be talking to that guy for really long?- -I don't know, my Kenji-chan. But I do promise that I'll come for you as soon as I can.- -Okay, Dad. Thanks.- Kenji lets the Hyper Zoanoids lead him away, looking back over his shoulder one to where his father stood at the top of the building.
  18. That's usually what I do when I come up with something new. Good luck with all that.
  19. Wow, that sounds really cool, Hyper. I'm looking forward to seeing it when you get it done.
  20. Ah, thanks for the refresher, Ryuki. Does living near the sea freak you out sometimes, or am I just wierd?
  21. Just out of curiousity, which characters are you drawing?
  22. Redwood City's on the peninsula, so we're surrounded on three sides by water. Which freaks me out sometimes, but most days I can live with it. Where do you live? I'm afraid it's slipped my mind.
  23. There is a big, freaking cloudburst right over my neighborhood, and it sounds like it's hailing intermittantly. I sure wouldn't want to be out in that.
