  1. Max Factory has updated the site with the new "Bio Fighter Wars" Collection. Seems that is what they are going to call the new model series. http://www.maxfactory.jp/bfw_series.htm
  2. I dunno, I rank Team America: World Police pretty high =P And I doubt a family movie like this can make me laugh as much. And, I've never been impressed by the current 'Fad" of Cg animation.
  3. Moved to Fan Fiction due to the nature of the post. Any large "Theoretical" talk about Guyver plot, or story, that currently does not exist ( no third movie has ever been stated), or is not ongoing ( like the manga), is considered "Fan" made, and belongs in here.
  4. Officially, thus far, Balcus does not have a battleform, nor has he even tried to fight. From what we've seen, he's a powerful telepath, able to control an entire army of Zoanoids, and as well, can create energy techniques ( he was able to do the same technique Guyt did to close the Black Hole etc...). But his most potent feature seems to be his brain. I almost think it's safe to say that Alkanphel allowed Balcus complete access to the creators memories about Zoaforms, and how to create them. Of course, the technology used in the manga wasn't created way back when, but no doubt, organic blue prints where, and it was only a matter of making metal and glass versions. Even then, early 1900's ma have been when chronos itself was started. As for the timeline between the 1400's or so when Balcus found Alkanphel, to the 1900's when Chronos started it's dealings... no one can really say. IMO, most of the Zoalords probably have not been Zoalords for over 100 years. If anything, only Alkanphel, Balcus, and Waferindos seem to be older, while others like Guyot, and Purg'stall seem much more recent. I mean there has to be a reason why the final Zoalord was finished in the late 80's or early 90's.
  5. Topic locked as it's gone astray from the original topic, and is now, off topic.
  6. Yes, both the "classic" and new fics will be available. Although they were not the best, in terms of quality, they helped form the fics and site to what they are today, so we will be preserving the fossilised remains ^_~
  7. Nope and nope. His unit was basically one of a kind. It was never mass produced. The unit itself was the last step before the Kavzars were created, and the biggest difference is the kind of crystal using in the control medal. Proto-Guyvers used a crystal similar to what Alkanphel had. Kavzars were given one that would allow the Creators to control them. In short, there are no more Proto-Units. ( although when I get to re-writing fic, it's origin will be fixed up, and make more sense.)
  8. With their price, I am more leaning to 1/12 scale, rather than the 1/10 scale of the articulated figures. My reasoning... - Zoanoids are taller than Guyvers, and for the price, it doesn't seem right for two figures that are bigger than the Guyver figures, to be cheaper than them. - if you look at the price of the other Zoanoid models, they are around half the price of the two packs.
  9. Everyone in the theatre was busting up at that scene too! Oh man, that 1 minute puking scene was sooo nasty. I had to look away. My parent's enjoyed the movie too. (they didn't see it with me). Both thoses and the "Im Ronely" song were my favorites. The puppett sex scence alone was worth the 9 dollars and 50 cents. god movies cost so freaking much theses day. In the NC-17 rated version, it was 2 and a half minutes long. But they had to cut it down. But it will be on the DVD.
  10. It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. But it's definatly for the 18+ crowd. Any parents who take their younger kids to see this, need to be hunted down and shot. I found it hilarious, mainly because of it's "truths" on how some people, including ignorent America, views the rest of the world - taken to the extremes. That and it's humorous music as well. I can't say I recommend it... only if you enjoy that kind fo humor. Some people will definatly be disgusted by this movie. While others, will leave laughing their heads off ( like me). Especially with the puppet sex scene. Man the whole audience cracked up at that.
  11. Actually, judging from the pic of the dissasembles parts, that IS indeed the Max Factory Murakami. Although the paint job on the crystal doesn't look all that great, the body is definatly the MaxFactory figure.
  12. http://www.maxfactory.jp/aptom.htm Aptom now has his own page with some new pictures, and a vague release date for november.
  13. As ll, to add to why he surived the full power megasmasher... He also had some sort of shield erected, to dissapate (sp) the energy away from his body. He wasn't shielding himself like Guyot tried to do, just pushing the energy away from him, allowing it to travel it's course, just in a slightly alterted direction. Aptom also used this same technique while he and Guyver 3 were fighting the Enzyme 3's ( although Aptom, being less durable, lost his arms, and legs which were melted off due to him holding the Enzyme 3's in place.
  14. Pics were posted in another thread. Yep, it's looking like Max Facotry and Guyver are becoming friends yet again.
  15. I don't think so personally. Considering the detenation of the Arizona base is almost upon us... PLUS, Agito has to be getting tired. He's put up an excellent fight as it is, but facing 3 Zoalords, probably is goign to be a bit too much for him. That or, as I hope, Sho will pull the Gigantic off of him to try and save Aptom. THAT would be sweet.
  16. Actually, I have seen it Good old postage "errors". Although, all the defective Sir bots could have been Girs unholy army! That would also have been an awesome episode.
  17. I can see one BIG mistake. No structure at all. My guess, this was all free hand, and maybe looking at a similar pic that you copied from ( judging from the eyes and detail on the hair I can guess that). So his face, as you have it, look way too fat, and looks like it dissapears behind his hair... and keeps on going, as well, making it look flat. If you ever want to improve as an artist, you need to learn the simple aspect of Structure, and later proportion. Structure isn't tough. It making rough shapes to build a body part onto. A circle or oval for a head is a good example. This way, you have guidelines for where the side of the face should end, and maybe get the "round" feel one hopes for when the draw a head. NO professional artist just starts out with nothing, then ends up with something grand right at the start.
  18. He is a teal color, that is more blue based in the manga yes. However, you should note that I specifically put that I used the "Anime" color scheme for the pic. So it's more greenish than blue.
  19. I do have good reason for saying what i said. try translating it. Although I was a little bit out... It is actually the Rocky mountains near Montana (so only a few miles away then!) That woudl make a lot of sense too, conisdering the Chronos Agents who picked up the cocoon were whereing the "N.Y" Chronos combatent gear. So, North America is pretty much suggested.
  20. It is VERY similar, other than the fact, the board is much bigger, you share the board with other people, and there is a chat as well. In fact, I believe the early versions of Paintchat ( the most popular one anyway) was made from the same coding as an Oekaki. ( I remember the tool boxes looking the same)

Geez man... probably best that you go read the rules in the "Forum Announcements" forum. That being said, topic locked.
  22. Yeah, I am thinking it is not coincidence that his other art that used the profile view shares the same background as the L.A.Hero Guyver Volume 1 VHS cover.
  23. Same url, but they put up a full body pic now. Looks even better.
  24. Yeah... just saw that. WOW. Although I am wondering why they are showing so many proto-type pics, when only G-3 has been released.
  25. I'm goign to sticky this here topic, due to it's helpfulness in finding a good art program. Thanks Leigh-san! ( and sorry, I rarely use ICQ anymore at all >_< Blame it on Brian and moving to AIM, and then MSN! All his fault!)
