District 9
I just saw this movie yesterday, and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite science fiction films of all time. Sharlto Copley gives an excellent performance considering this is his first real film. The CGI is amazing and the alien weaponry effects are pretty brutal.

Dead Space
I dreaded facing the Necromorph that kept regenerating. I loved when the doctor who created it finally got what he deserved.

Dead Space
Dead Space was just released this past Tuesday, and I highly recommend it for fans of the survival horror genre. The atmosphere of the game is a lot like Alien with a bit of Event Horizon and John Carpenter's The Thing thrown in.

Spore Creature Creator
To give a bit of a demo for the upcoming game, Spore, EA has released the creature editor for download. There's a free trial version with only one-fourth the parts and the full version is ten dollars. I purchased the full version and it is both fun and easy to use. All your creations can be uploaded to the Sporepedia and then used in the final game. Some of the things others have made are extremely creative and interesting. http://spore.ea.com/ (Official Spore site) http://www.spore.com/sporepedia#qry=ftr-ftrd (Sporepedia site)

See any good movies lately?
I just saw Cloverfield on Friday, and I thought it was awesome. It was just so different from almost any other movie I've seen.

Preview - Day 6 of 7 Days
Well Loki (in the episode Fragile Balance)did do experiments with humans, but what he was doing couldn't even begin to compare with the Creators.

The 4400
Isabelle was pretty powerful, I kind of hoped she could regenerate from any killswitch they put in her or that it was a lie to keep her under control. It seemed that Jordan did get his mark removed. *spoiler ahead* Meghan, Garrity, and Marco developed abilities. The episode ended with Kyle offering Tom the shot and all of Seattle is now Promise City.

The 4400
Has anyone else watched this show on the USA network? The show is similar to Heroes (even though this show came before Heroes ) being about people with abilities. The season finale just aired and it was a pretty good way to wrap up the season. It's definately worth checking out.

Two Stories Uploaded!
Seems like someone is a fan of "A Clockwork Orange."

Bourne Ultimatum
There have been two Bourne novels written after Ludlum's death by Eric Van Lustbader. The films also take only a very small amount of content from the novels. Like Marie in the novel is a Canadian finance officer or something and Jason was only portraying an assassin named Cain so he could catch Carlos the Jackal.

Bourne Ultimatum
I saw this movie on Friday and I honestly believe it's the best of the three. If you liked the other two, you should definately check this one out.

Knocked Up
I loved this movie. How hot is Katherine Heigl? The look on her face seeing him in her bed after their one night stand was hilarious.

Darth Vadar's Apprentice
Has anyone seen the new E3 2007 trailer for Star Wars: Force Unleashed? The Apprentice pulls a Star Destroyer out of the sky using the Force!!!

Dreadnought vs. Guyver Zoalord
He would have a better chance at stopping the Guyver Zoalord more quickly, but the GZ might take him as a more serious threat and just destroyed the Earth in a pyrrhic victory. (Sorry if I used pyrrhic victory in the wrong context )

An odd question about hyperspace and units
So would W'Kar(in his Omni form or as Anubis) constantly see the other guyvers in their armored form, or would he see them only if he chose to?

Physicists in Japan plan to create a new universe in lab
http://www.casavaria.com/sentido/scienc ... iverse.htm Could this be a potential way to prevent the heat death of the universe? If so, I want one of my own to be shaped as I see fit. Oh the horror. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg19125591.500.html (another link to a similar article)

Meaning behind names
Wasn't Prometheus also the Greek titan who gave the gift of fire to humanity? From what I remember, it didn't turn out too well for him.

Sci-Fi book recommendations
I just started reading Neal Stepheson's Snow Crash, and I have to say that Raven is one of the craziest villains in any book I've read in a while. He took out the crew of a Russian nuke sub with a sharpened piece of plate glass! I definitely recommend this book.

Splinter Cell Conviction
Anyone see the trailer for the next Splinter Cell? Instead of just lurking in the shadows, Sam now needs to move through crowded streets without all of his high-tech gadgets. The game looks like the designers were going for a Bourne Identity vibe.

Coolest, bloodiest, most violent trailer EVER! (John Rambo)
I think Rambo might now be up for the title of leading cause of death in Southeast Asia.

Spiderman 3 - Warning! Spoilers!
I have to agree with you Matt. Spiderman 3 is a somewhat average movie that unfortunately followed the fantastic previous two installments. I loved the first two, but I found myself even cringing at the sheer ridiculousness of some of the scenes (Let's do the twist... ). It's unfortunate how little time was spent on the Gwen Stacy storyline considering how important she was in the comics.

Nanotechnology may help heal the body
http://www.physorg.com/news96542517.html This is a pretty exciting article. Who knows, maybe within the next 10 to 20 years almost any injury or disease will be treatable, including aging.

Spore
http://www.viddler.com/explore/zachinglis/videos/1/ The video shows just exactly why Spore might be the best PC game in a long time. Hopefully Will Wright can deliver, which he seems to consistently do.

Heroes
http://www.heroesrevealed.com is a pretty cool site. They put clips of episodes on a few days in advance. There are some spoilers so be careful what you read. The new trailer for episode 18 has a clip of Syler confronting Peter.
