That is about half of Meeting of the Warriors.
-
Nope. I don't want to know. Iron Man was my childhood favorite superhero. It was Iron Man that turned me onto Guyver.
-
Post the datafile anyway. I like it alot. Believe it or not, but I am not anime or manga fan, so I have no clue who or what Ultimate Form Kuuga is.
-
I do remember you want to start killing off a few of the characters. While I am for that, I am also worried who will be killed off. I mean, take for example Prometheus and Ultimus. Both of them have gone through three forms and nearly died geting them only to become more powerful. Faye was nearly killed and but recieved a better unit. Basically a common theme is that if you nearly die, you'll get a better unit.

The power levels aren't soo... umm even. in otherwords this is one of those X things not being enough to discribe it. The Warrior Guyver is X4. But it can be argued his shielding system would be greater than that of the Gigantic because it can handle and use to add to itself with energy from the pressure cannon and gravity based attacks. Battle Guyver has the same shielding system and was the Unit that sucessfully tested the shielding system. This unit was made for example after Alknaphel's unit. So while it does have a normal looking control medal that is mainly because of the failings of the 3 sided control medal design to hold together everyhing Solom wanted. This unit is an enhanced normal unit and very stable compared to WG Type 4's and below. Also it should be pointed out this is the V2 of the Battle Unit design. No it will be a bloody and nasty ending. I've no bad feelings in leting this part of the plot be known! Well I meant overall placement. For example I do not see Battle Guyver being equal to Warrior Guyver in power. Perhaps 75% overall.

Can't really say, other than there is one person like this Unique being out there. Not saying who it is or what events that character was like the new one... But it's not 100% Unique in that it does have someone out there kinda like it. But in saying that no this being is pretty much on it's own for what it is. On a good note I've decided on a name fo the next story. You lost me...

I agree 17" laptops are not that portable mainly because they're desktop replacements. I almost got the 20" HP one last year and decided not to just because of the sheer size. In my world, space is a premium. The only reason why I get 17" laptops is because I usually have only one computer at one time. I have a bad history with laptops. 12.1" screen would definitely be useful on deployment. I use my laptop basically as a super expensive and huge portable DVD player. I am definitely looking forward to the new story.

My squadron just replaced all of our laptops yesterday. I wonder where they go afterwards. 14.1" screens too, which is a good size for portability. I'd like to have one vs. my behemoth 17"one. Free stuff that you actually want is always great though.

Me too. Though I wonder if it will be any good. Trailers tend to make even a horrible movie look bad. With the exception of Sherlock Holmes where the trailer made the movie look bad but the movie itself is much better.

1.) There are two W'Kars. One is Anubis and the other is W'Kar in the WG universe. Anubis cannot remove his own because one of the effects of merging with a W'Kar unit True or Reproduction is that it bonds more completely with the host than a Guyver unit. Removing the unit will kill the host. Greg may survive with possibly the use of a Matrix or two. 2.) Greg doesn't like the idea of upgrades. As Allen once put it, it's like putting a sock in your pants to show off a bigger bulge than you really have. 3.) Using another Guyver to repair his own? There is no unit that can actually repair his own unit. Something like a Matrix or two may do the job though. But actually bonding to a unit like a Gigantic unit or equivilant, the answer is look at answer number 2. Also, it could be that the unit is incompatible with existing upgrades. Perhaps the Warrior Upgrade which is just heavily reworked damaged prototype W'Kar unit. It could boost it slightly if possible. Also Allen once said that the Element itself needs a certain type of energy and how it manages that is far different than let's say a HSL.

Tisk, tisk, tisk. Artillerus you're new here. But I'll let you on a little secret: Asking direct questions like that will always get a 'no comment'. There are plenty of Warrior/Nova Guyver prototypes out there waiting to be discovered. It's up to the writers if they want to bring them in. Though honestly, the roster is getting pretty large now.
-
That will probably get a no comment. But a good way of a getting an idea of what Guyvers/Zoaforms get an increase in comparison to the Gigantic Guyver, is what their role in relation to their abilities. Example, Battle Guyver originally was just as powerful (if not more so because of the HSL and shields) as the Gigantic Guyver. However using the new power levels for the Gigantic it is unlikely that she'll be as powerful as the Gigantic due to her being a prototype (therefore inferior) to the Warrior Guyver unit. I hope Rapanoid gets a 'soothing' end. Someday I would like re-edit the actual movie in a way that's not as muddled as it is now.

Also it's size. Mars' crust isn't seperated like Earths. Which means the crust can't recycle itself. Also, Mars is smaller so the planet will cool much faster than Earth. Basically, if we had a 1,000 trillion dollars to throw away, we have the tehcnology to terraform Mars right now. Though it will take centuries though. In the end, a terraformed Mars will still die again long before Earth does. So using the Matrix we could have it terraform quickly as possible using what it has now, or go all out and basically make it into Earth 2. Which means it may need a moon too.

Appearnace of a Guyver and Teleporting
McAvoy replied to Guyver_Astray's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Just trowing in a wildcard here. Given that a rewrite is in process. What Unit and host in the fan-fiction do you think would be the most powerful (excluding a Matrix enchanced unit that can in theory modify the host)? Importanly why? I'm quoting McAvoy for a reason..... If you guys have being following posts I'd made recently the answer might surprise you. I would have to think about it. But my guess is either Sho or Jason. -
Keep in mind that a Uranus Guyver unit probably is inferior in terms of technology to any Gen technology. That and Uranus technology is probably a base level technology for the two species. With that in mind, it comes to no suprise that Guyver C's Uranus model upgraded by the Matrix into a Gen style Warrior Guyver unit can use a inferior technologically advanced unit like the Giant unit. I doubt that if the Extinction Device could actually harm the Warrior unit itself while bonded, but could damage it as a side effect. Not kill it. My guess is the Giant unit is vulnerable to the Device regardless. Only a Gen/Matrix/Dreadnought could remove it or neutralize it.

With the movie out in less than three weeks... Seeing the two trailers, it appears that the arc reactor is integrated into the armor itself. The War Machine armor is also bigger than Iron Man's suit. We also have comicbook Stark's trademark suitcase sized Iron Man suit for this movie too. It's red and silver and definitely slimmer than previous ones. Whiplash also helps design the US Government(?) their own version of Iron Man suits. But my guess they're not suits but robots.
-
I like it. I wonder what will change though. It seems to fit on what we know of the new changes. Maybe alter a few things here and there.
-
My guess is that Grakken technology isn't exactly like a Guyver unit. Since we have new information, Guyver US's own unit cannot bond to zoaforms which means perhaps Grakken units are altered to the point where they cannot bond to non-Grakken units as well. But this wouldn't explain why the Grakken gave a unit to a human in All Things. My other guess is that while Grakken technology allows them to create their own version of a Guyver unit, it still is inferior to Creator technbology. By having Guyot collect samples of a variety of Guyver units of different types would allow a sort of 'sample' unit.

The big question about the Live Action is whether or not Rapanoid will still be in there or not. Is it?
-
Meeting of the Warriors is currently the biggest story you got. How big is it compared to that? I take it that the previous parts for the 7 Days will remain mostly unchanged except clump parts together to make a bigger single story?
-
Three Things: 1. I knew there was going to be another Guyver Zoalord because of how the datafiles were written. 'Original' Guyver Zoalord, 'the first' etc. It was a guess though. 2. Guyot being the Cloaked Man. I didn't see that coming but I knew it was a Zoalord of some kind. Someone did suggest it. 3. Guyot combining parts of Guyver to create a working Guyver unit would work if a Creator helped him or somehow he gained the knowledge of a Creator. I don't think the Grakken have all the required knowledge to piece a working Guyver unit together for different Guyvers.

Then I guess it's one of their own self made paradox. Not a temporal paradox but how to handle such a reverred being with a powerful and advanced device.
-
Side note: Recently you have been using 'has' as opposed to 'as'. Just curious... Anyway, I take it you'll take a story at a time. Hopefully, in order. Are you going to do the rewrites first then a new story?
-
Who knows. Maybe he does activate it and it turns out to be inferior. Or... it is destroyed. Or... Kregen take it hide it in a different universe. Or... Sarah O'Conner bonds with it.

Fan-Fcition - who do you want more detail on?
McAvoy replied to Sully's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
Interesting. I always wanted/wondered on how to a proper Guyver movie script t hat fits in with the manga. I once toyed with the idea of recutting the movie myself. Anyway, so if the Utah units were modified to activate on lesser zoaforms and humans, then would that explain why they look much more organic than the others?
