Naturally Sully. I agree with Battle Guyver as a unit. The unit is probably the best overall and very comparable to the new Test units. As for the nuTest units I'd say Ninja Guyver. Warrior Guyvers would be Warrior Guyver C, but I am biased because I love that picture so much. Character-wise I would have to sit on.

That is most certainly true that the Guyver effect may only work on a human, though the physical strength of both the Predator and the Xenomorph may make them on even terms with a Gigantic. We do not know exactly what causes the Guyver effect on a human, other than making them uncontrollable and inherited warlike personality. This can be said of at least the Predator species and may even to a larger extent. I am not entirely sure about Xenomorphs though. We know that they retain something from their hosts which is why a Xeno from a human or a dog will be similar but different for example. Doubtful that a Xenomorph will retain enough human aspects for a Guyver unit. I always wondered about the elongated head of the Xenomorph. Is the whole thing a brain or just part of it. Scientists found out recently that it isn't just brain size but also how it is geared for example that can make one intelligent and other instinct driven.

I think most knew that Kron was toying with them and probably wanting to test his new powers as well. I think in the new rewrite Kron would have to bring more Bio Titans to fight to even it out since in the original version Bio Titans and Gigantics were about equal. Now a Gigantic can probably kill a Bio Titan in a reasonable amount of time to help WG3. Especially since FG3 is in self defense mode at the time. Also in 7 Days, it does seem that Kron is more powerful than he was originally. I'm just saying this because Zeus was fighting Zarfel on near even terms and the two Gigantics as well. So if Zeus can fight Zarfel where originally he could not, then Kron should be up there in power as well.

I guess if you really wanted is to pretend the power levels of the Gigantic is much higher as well in the older stories until their rewrites are done. Though Matt Bellamy's WG2 & WG3 fight vs. Kron will be different. Come to think of it, the first fight between WG3 and Kron should be different as well. Agito is no fool to think he can take on Kron who is more powerful than a Gigantic whereas the WG unit is half as powerful as a Gigantic. Perhaps he thought he could take on Kron with two Gigantics and himself.

This topics always pops up once in a while about a Guyver Xenomorph or a Guyver Predator. As far as a Guyver Predator, a Predator without it's fancy weapons are nothing more than big very strong and durable humanoids. So that may translate when bonded to a Guyver like a Zoanoid would. Interestingly, Crane from Dark Hero looks sort of like a Predator. So you could say a Guyver Predator would be like Guyver Zoanoid. Anyway, to the original question: Since when active a Guyver completely alters the body of the host to suit it's needs and seems to be generally adaptive, I think the acid blood of a Xenomorph wouldn't affect the Guyver. Think about it, Xeno's body doesn't dissolve from the inside. It would reasonble to assume that the Guyver would take on that trait. Though the exterior of the Xeno morph seems to be vulnerable. Though it varies on what comic or movie you are watching though. Regardless, a W'Kar unit of any design and power is much more advanced than a normal Guyver unit. it also bonds to the host much differently than a Guyver too. It is a more complete bonding which is why removal by a unit remover probably will kill the host and damage the unit. Also a W'Kar can adapt to different types of acids or even holding fields. So even if the acid blood can hurt the W'Kar it will adapt quickly enough. As far as abilities, they are nearly as strong as a Predator and can carry humans while crawling up walls with ease. Basically a low level zoanoid with acid blood and a deadly tail and mini mouth. It is possible that the W'Kar unit may not even bond to a Xenomorph because of their intelligence. It comes down to the classic argument: would a Guyver unit bond to a dog?

I understand Weltall2's concern. It is one of the big problems when introducing a new more powerful enemy or character in anything. Superman is an example. He's practically all powerful, almost a Mary Sue in some ways. You have a normal human giving him stuff to do like save two people on opposite sides of the city at the same time or they die etc. Or have someone equally as powerful as Superman himself. Personally, I think it may have been better to have kept Dreadnought at the originaly 20x level you had. You could still have the current characters but him being slightly weaker than his enemies would have allowed him to use some of his more special abilities more as opposed to using brute force. Also, considering how powerful the Gigantic is now compared to the original guesttimate, nearly evens it out. I mean until Kron and Zeus comes around, the Gigantic is the most powerful being in the world only rivaled by Alkanphel himself. In DBZ, you have the Saiyan-jins as the most powerful of the good guys with Piccolo as a semi-distant second. Then the humans are way way way back in the third. Since the power in that series is based on a very, very steep bell curve, no one less powerful could hope to defeat a more powerful being except of course Goku. IN WG.com especially with the Gigantic, it may even be possible for a Gigantic Guyver going Exceed to take on Dreadnought on near even terms. A Warrior Guyver can be defeated by a Zoalord but still could win through their own merits. A standard Guyver could still win against a Bio Titan despite being half as powerful. But I think if you are worried about rising power levels and getting to the extremes of GWotG I think you do not have to be worried. Sully has written the Limiter into the story. It seems that most non-zoaform Guyvers have a max. of 25x anyway.

It happens. Over the past 15 years, I have seen great sites just take a nose dive when it came to the upkeep and updates of the sites. Some are still around but never updated and some no longer exist. So those websites that have been around since then and even has a update every once a year or ever other year is better than nothing. I also understand those who were worried about the rewrites and Chronicles. I was directly involved in two sites that attempted this and failed. I was part of the group that was going to update warships1.com, but that fell through and the site shut down. Now only navweaps.com remains and is a former shadow of it once was. Another was Utopia Planitia 3 which anyone from 15+ years ago remember if they like Trek is that Utopia Plantia was one of the original Star Trek sites dealing with starships only. That also fell through.

I would have joined in but looks like I am too late. Normally i check on this site through my iPhone. Trying to type on a iPhone is annoying. So I was going to wait until I could get on the website through my computer. Seems like it is finished. Oh well.

Flashy abilities aside. Your character has an very high IQ, perfect memory recall and knows a bunch of languages. I mean you should tone down the character. He is a near Mary Sue. All he needs is that he singly handedly took down ten Bio Titans with nothing more than a rock. He then went to the Village of Bumdumpy where he engaged the local game of football and took on the reigning champs by himself. After the game he took home the entire cheerleader squad. The next day walked in the Generals office and demanded a Guyver unit. The general cowered and gave him a Warrior unit. He would have given him Dreadnought's unit if he could. I think, unless this unit is given to a zoanoid, the characters back history before he got the unit, what he is fighting for and who he truly is should matter much more than some sort of meta human. I mean a normal human can do great deeds without special abilities. He could have been medicore at best before the war and could have shined later on. Or he could be a warrior scientist.

Sounds great. I only saw Out of Control once and I was drunk so I barely remember anything beyond the 'special' scene.

I noticed that your method of shading has changed. I have no clue what the technical terms are so: basically before you did the gradual transition to now a almost two tone. Not complaining, though. Just an observation.

Gotcha. I knew about the SIF part, but didn't know about it being integrated with the hyper sensors though.

So basically a shield can withstand anything up to it's rating because can disperse energy whether it is head beam laser or a mega smasher blast? I was always under the impression that for example a head beam laser rated at let's say 1 TJ can pierce a shield rated at 4 TJ because it has more energy concentrated in a smaller area than a 1 TJ mega smasher.

Interesting. Its still not clear though if any abilities are permanent especially with the samples taken from the "stinger". I assume if they are not, then you could say that the samples are not stable enough to remain within the unit for a certain amount of time. If it is permanent then this being is has unlimited potential to become the most powerful being in existence. I mean all he has to do is collect samples from everything he can get his hands on. On a side note, I don't think the ability would really work on Warrior Guyvers. If the Grn have trouble with cloning a unit with an arm and Chronos not able to get detailed scans, I think this unit shouldn't either. I mean maybe if the unit came from WG2 universe, it might. I like the datafile though.

So basically you are saying that shields can withstand anything up to it's rating wide dispersed or focused?

That is true. I wonder though what happened to Seraph and Zeugma. Did they became some sort of Warrior Kavzar/Angel-like leaders for their army or did they just get killed by the Warrior Kavzars after their usefulness was over? Just because some sort of leader-cast Warrior Kavzar was never mentioned, doesn't mean they don't exist. -

I was thinking about that with Aptom. Since you have said the divergence point between the manga the fanfic is the battle in Arizona where Agito loses and Gigantic XD fights with the Dragonlord but somehow Dragonlord survives. Maybe Aptom couldn't find him when Dragonlord goes to Little Man Mode and escapes. I am looking forward to total rewrite of Rescue. It should be a totally new story. -
Guyver Regeneration Rate
McAvoy replied to Azaar's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
The 11 hour figure makes sense since at best guess from Enzyme I ripping out his control medal to when he regenerated, it seems to be about a few hours possibly more. Depends on how far the distance is between the battlefield to Relic's Point, though and traffic of course. Japan has the worse traffic I have ever seen the last time I was there. -

Well in any event the new Aptom got a better deal the old Aptom. It would be interesting though with a Omega Blast Aptom vs. a Bio Titan though. -

Awesome. I guess this will be no comment, but since he has the DNA of a full zoalord, his proto zoalord abilities will be less pronounced if does get them. -
This is the first draft and I will update it once I have a chance. i am sure if I wrote a story around this, it would be more clear. I may write one, I may not. Other interests have prevented me from doing other Guyver projects. Yeah, I was generally thinking along similar lines. I was also thinking that maybe the Gigantic could be inferior because of how they created their own.
-
I think you got time Sully. It takes years for him to finish a story arc...
-
Interesting. Originally, the control medal had it's own shield with the body shield to protect it. Which means double the protection without even activating the shields. Using the old datafiles for example, that would be alittle under a normal Guyver's full double mega smash to break down both shields. While I am sure a zoalord doesn't have an attack that can pierce that shield, later on in the stories, there are. Basically what I mean is that the old rating for the body shield is meant for a wide blast. There are Guyvers and even zolaords who can create a more focused beam of energy while not as powerful as a mega smasher that can pierce both shields.

I see. But I do think the first battle with the Warrior Kavzar should be different though since what we know of the Gigantic Guyver now. Having two Warrior Guyvers and a Gigantic Guyver should be far more difficult than originally. Well here is the problem. While I don't doubt that Jason will join the ACTF through the FBI, but his intentions and his main drive will be different. His whole family being killed by Chronos in the WG universe is perhaps the largest reason why he excelled at what he did and eventually becoming Warrior Guyver. While I think Jason in the WG2 universe, would not have the same drive because his family is still more or less alive. But maybe the only reason why he became WG in both universes is his work with Guyver US. The Gen leaving Earth as is always puzzled me for years. They still left a bunch of Relics and even advanced Guyver units. If they for example wanted to leave Earth to see how fast or well humans will develop, then shouldn't they have took everything and left humans with a blank slate (more or less)? But it seems that they left Earth is more or less the same hurry as their WG counterparts. -

So... this will be number #4 on rewrite/update of Union of the Guyvers including Chronicles? It is interesting that out of all of the original characters that Aptom will require less of a rewrite though. Though I suspect he won't like Agito any better than Sho does. Will Aptom retain his current form?
