I would say an evolved unit, only possible with the mind of a human - out of control. I'm not sure the advents can surpass this because it was an unplanned anomaly.

He might stack up to Purgstall, could match the lightning bolt attacks etc. As cool as Thor is, I think he'd have no idea what was happening and be outmatched very quickly.

I think Guyver 3 would break his neck.

I hope Agito becomes completely loyal to show, they'd be an unstoppable tag team ☺ I think Aptom deserves a mega happy ending but if he doesn't die wont he outlive the Guyvers and end up all alone?

I defiantly prefer the new series for the added depth to character development - yes his Father did live there, Lisker got more lines,Team 5 lasted longer. All I really miss was the OAVs fights and Murakami's old look. Oh and Steve Blum ☺

I'm sure Jason Frank would put in an appearance, given how much of the franchise he's been involved with.

The guy from season 1 wasn't Death stroke, it was his Partner, there's more history to be had from the island.

Question - Will he ever get his free will back, how can this be achieved? Here's my idea which involves more questions. If he were to equip a Guyver, would that then free him from Alcanfel's mind control? Assuming he is being (controlled). Is the remover still around? Would Guyver III make that sacrifice? Or, would the remover work on Guyver II-F's prototype control medal? Murakami is no stranger to prototype powers on the clock.

Just finished vol4 ep16, its just about caught up with the end of the OAV series. Some of the fight sequences were defiantly better 1st time round.

Your right about people getting attached to some voice actors. I've meet Steve Blum (90's Agito), nice guy, he's done so much I surprise he wasn't involved in the new series.

OK, this may have gone off topic (good discussion though). Back on, which is cooler, Fast car driving, Miami vice white suit wearing Murakami or not so smooth talking biker jacket wearing Murakami?

Just finished 12 of 26, stil missing some of the more brutal fights from the OAVs but what's bothering me more is Murakami - is it the voice actor, the new look or that his arm grows to fire his gun? He just doesn't seem as cool now.

I have only just noticed this company sale & reissue business, OK this sale happened 5 yes ago, but its got me thinking. I wonder if Manga entertainment plan to do anything with the franchise now that they have a hand on it. (Old news I know) Further more - should we now all buy a copy of the Manga release to boost their sales, most fans will have got this the 1st time round under ADV so I wonder how Manga's sale have been, would Manga take note if sales were good? Btw if this chain of thought has occurred to anyone else and is an ongoing discussion then point me in the right direction ☺
