What's for dinner? Literally, sort of...food discussion.
Chernaudi replied to Chernaudi's topic in General 'whatever'.
I'll be making some chicken taco salad/nacho stuff tonight for the F1 race. Pretty good and simple to make, though a bit time consuming if you make it with raw chicken breasts. -
Not much of a movie watcher, but some of my favorite movies were Tea with Mussolini, Moonstruck, and the Audi Truth in 24 films. All of them were rated PG (at least the televised/theatrically released Truth in 24 movies) for war violence, profanity and crude humor (Tea with Mussolini), profanity and suggestive themes (Moonstruck) and profanity (Truth in 24, some of which is bleeped out--they're motorsport documentary films after all). Let me know what you think, but at least the Truth in 24 films have plenty of "nerdy" stuff in them, if anyone's interested in electronic or mechanical devices.

Good idea. There's been times where I've been awake at night and I swear I saw something, though it was my mind playing tricks on me or some illusion. I'll be trying to get some sleep soon or maybe playing some Postal 2 before hand to get that out of the way, all so I can stay up and watch the F1 race tonight without feeling like crap like I did last night.

My Guyver and Twilight Saga crossover fic that I've hinted at
Chernaudi replied to Chernaudi's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Sorry I seemed to miss your last post--I was typing this while you posted. I've personally wanted to do a Twilight fan fic with the Volturi set during World War II. I might decide to work on it someday, but that'll be a while away for right now. Anyways, I'll describe some of the OC's now. Lia: Young woman, vampire hybrid, emo/goth style lover. About 5'7", long black hair with blonde, red or violet colored highlights, almond shaped brown eyes, high cheek bones, shapely feminine figure. Kinda looks like a young, goth/emo/punk version of Cher with side-swept bangs. Power/ability: manipulation/generation of electrical or electromagnetic fields. Can use this to levitate and release energy blast and form a shield. Melinda: Young woman, vampire hybrid. Tomboy-ish. 5'6", brown eyes, various hair colors, but usually brown and always long. Looks like a cross between Bella Swan, Melinda Sordino and Kristen Stewart. Power/ability: altering people's perceptions and creating visions in people's heads. Jess: Young woman, vampire hybrid. More feminine, 5'7", brown eyes, long brown hair (dyed blonde). Looks a lot like Jenn Proske from Vampires Suck. Power/ability: use of magic. Jennifer: Young woman, vampire hybrid. Feminine, pale, 5'7" brown eyes, long black hair, partly Hispanic. Power/ability: basic vampire abilities. Camel: Male, vampire hybrid, appears to be in his 20's. 7'1" in human form. Brown eyes, long hair (dyed black to match Lia's). Has slightly feminine body form, but still well built given that. Power/ability: Shape shifting and can weaponize himself. Has various vampire/vampire hybrid/Guyver/zoanoid abilities and weapons. And my changes to Shizu: Shizu: Bio-engineered/re-processed to be a vampire hybrid, married to Agito, human form as for manga (5'5", long black hair, well-defined feminine form, greyish-violet eyes). As Griselda: form basically the same aside from increase in height to 7'0" from 6'11.5". Much more powerful and resilient in combat, and like all hybrids, insanely powerful in human form. Power/ability: Powerful psychic and mind reader, can control zoanoids with ease. High melee capability as Griselda. -
My Guyver and Twilight Saga crossover fic that I've hinted at

Other than posting it on a website dedicated to fan fic, I don't really have any plans for publishing this work. I don't really have any aspirations to do much with it beyond that. I'm doing this for fun and I know nowadays that this type of stuff unless you collaborate with the original authors is frowned upon by the copyright people and their lawyers. I'm just writing this for fun anyways, so if some Twilight and Guyver fans like it after reading it at this fan fic site, I'll be happy. -
Hi everyone. Got insanely tired around midnight last night, so after F1 qualifying, I went to sleep. So that means I didn't work on fan fic last night. I'll try and work on it tonight if I get the chance, but there's the actual F1 race on tonight and I'll be busy with a few things today. So it might not be until Sunday night that I'll work on it. Other than that, things have been fine. I'll be up and about probably until one of my brothers gets up. And, no, I haven't heard much about work yet. Still trying to get training set up. I'll be back later

My Guyver and Twilight Saga crossover fic that I've hinted at
Chernaudi replied to Chernaudi's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Not really for me once I get started and when I feel awake. Right now, I'll be struggling to stay up to watch the F1 thing. Maybe I should've slept in longer, because I'm probably going to sleep once that's over. Sunday night might be the best time for me to start up again, though at least the chapter that I've been stuck on is almost over, and the next one should be easier to write. -
No, not really a serious gamer, and what games I do play often may as well be described as obsolete. I still play a PS2 and though there's still updates for it, Postal 2 is over a decade old. I don't currently own a more modern console, partly because I can't afford one right now. Right now, my little brother is playing DayZ, which is a zombie apocalypse game. I sometimes watch/listen to him play it, usually because he plays it in bed while I'm trying to sleep. He plays it online, though I'm not much of an online gamer myself. I'm hoping to some day be able to afford a PS4 or something along those lines.

Don't know if I'll be working on fan fic tonight. I'm pretty tired right now, and I'll probably be struggling to stay up, have dinner and watch F1 practice. If I can work on it, I will, but I wouldn't bet money on it. Tomorrow night might be a better plan if not for the F1 race tomorrow night. -

I'll be having some fish later on when watching F1 practice tonight. -
Hi again everyone. Just got done with some gaming and watching some videos. I'll be making some fish later on and watching F1 practice and, if I'm still awake by then, I'll be working on some fan fic. Just quite tired right now. I'll be back later

Shizu/Jennifer (a Twilight character who's mentioned only in text in BD)/Melinda (OC)/Mizuki vs a couple of minions from the big bad's force. Lia also gets to show off some new powers when she shows up. Interestingly, I was actually also inspired by the Slender games and the urban legend of Slenderman. -
Small update. Audi dominated practice at Silverstone, the only cars that ran 1:43 lap times so far this weekend and were a second faster than the 3rd place Toyota. Porsche seem to be struggling with their car that's had development problems though has shown good single lap speed at time. I'll probably be logging off for a brief period of time. I'll probably be taking a nap until later on, where I'll be getting back up and watching a some videos, play a game and work on fan fic, and catch F1 qualifying in between. I'll be back later

Hi everyone. I did work on some fan fic last night, but not much, though I'm now almost finished with the chapter. I mostly watched F1 practice last night and that was it. I did get a new pillow, and it worked amazingly well teamed with my old one. Really helps when I want to sit up in bed or lay on my side. I'll be watching F1 qualifying tonight, and at Silverstone, Audi and Porsche have demonstrated two different ways to going equally as fast. Audi are insanely fast in the corners, while Porsche has the straightline speed. But if it rains (and the forecasts suggest this), Audi will likely have the edge due to their downforce package. No NASCAR race this weekend, but there will be the WEC race I mentioned. And I hope to work on some fan fic, including starting a new chapter, too. I'll be back later

Weather: how is it in your area, etc, etc...
Chernaudi replied to Chernaudi's topic in General 'whatever'.
It's sort of warm and very sunny here. In about a week from now, it's supposed to be in the 70's finally. -
Found a couple of books last night at my house that I've added to my "must re-read" list. One in particular is an old automotive book called something along the lines of "Automobile Engines of Today and Tomorrow". It was published in 1972, and it was a book that I got when it was discarded from my school library. That'll be a book I'll be reading again soon.

Some of the things that I'm interested in are World War II history and automotive stuff. This is something that connects to my fan fic that I've been writing. Who would you rather have on your side in a fight against zombified zoanoids: Shizu with a pair of .45 caliber Glock 18 machine pistols and her ability to turn into Griselda, or someone armed with a Chauchat, one of the worse firearms ever designed? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chauchat Now that's a comedy of terrors. One of the undoubted Yugos of military technology; and yes, Yugos also feature in my story. Also, if you really want a laugh as far as World War II history, read up on Benito Mussolini. He may've been a dictator, but he was head of one of the most inefficient, ineffective bodies in World War II, and the Fascist Party of Italy was a farcical joke.

I decided to make a general thread about various technology stuff about mechanical and electrical devices. Anything can be discussed here, though my areas are expertise are limited with some technology (though looking up the stuff could give me something to do when I'm bored). Mostly, this is a discussion about how various technologies work and our thoughts and opinions on them. Since one of my areas of expertise is automotive stuff, there's a new type of high-beam headlight that Audi and BMW are developing call the Laserlight. Audi currently are using them on their new R18 e-tron quattro racing car, and their Audi Sport Quattro concept car, and BMW feature them on their i8. http://gearheads.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/CES140021.jpg http://www.motorsport.com/lemans/photo/main-gallery/front-of-the-2014-audi-r18-e-tron-quattro/?sz=2&s=2&id=1676870&i=10 http://www.motorsport.com/lemans/photo/main-gallery/the-2014-audi-r18-e-tron-quattro-6/?sz=2&s=2&id=1676720&i=134 How Audi explained it is that a yellow laser beam is reflected off of crystals and then reflected off of mirrors to produce the light. I'm also considering posting an automotive thread, and I might have to contact Yuki or one of the other mods here before I proceed with that. So discuss away with technology!

I had some breakfast sausage last night before I went to bed. The spicy stuff was pretty good, but the links I had were kinda bland. -
Hi everyone. Nothing much going on. I got up at 8:30 and made grandma breakfast and such. I did work a little bit on fan fic last night. Not much, but at least my current chapter is almost done. I plan on working on it more and catching F1 practice tonight. But other than that, I don't have too much going on. At least yesterday I bought some stuff--fruit juices, coffee stuff, some breakfast sausage and other stuff. I'll be back later

Well, I worked on this last night a bit, but not much. At least the current chapter is almost done. The next chapter, the action does pick up a bit. A new OC gets her say in the story, and there is a fight. And this does lead to a new revelation, too. -
Never really seen any cards dropped in Walmarts parking lot, but then again, people do drive like idiots where I live so I pay a lot more attention to where they're going than what might be on the ground. Still, though, I don't notice much of anything, let alone gift cards, in the parking lot. I did buy some coffee stuff, fruit juices, lunch meat, breakfast sausage, French bread, and an ice cream cake. And I still have money left. Not a ton, only $34, but some that can be of use later. Then I got some Burger King--onion rings, a Big King, and an original chicken sandwich. I plan on finishing up some stuff here, taking a nap, then work on some Postal 2 and fan fic later on. And I do believe that the weather change has helped me. I actually feel pretty warm right now and I feel pretty happy and content. I'll be back later

Well, Richard is a sleaze bag for sure Personally, though, I think that his obsession with power has made him more asexual than either Agito (though he has Shizu practically on his arm in the canon of Guyver), or even, reportedly, Adolf Hitler. Though, for Agito, I fix that in this story As for Guyot, he doesn't really feature himself, though the "big bad" can be considered a depraved, perverted parody of him. Also, if anyone every wanted to see Guyver meets the Three Stooges, this is that kind of story at times with improvised weaponry and some tactics that get used on the villains. This also includes something called the laserlight. An example of this in real life is the 2014 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, as well as the Audi Sport Quattro concept car and the BMW i8. -
I just found out that I have $110 on my food assistance card. So I'll be going out to shop later today
