  1. It's raining, it's pouring, and be gulping down french fries in a few :)

  2. Short report on the race and a photo gallery: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/event/348/2014-24-Hours-of-Le-Mans.html
  3. Hi everyone. I had a good day at work though I was late because of a mix up at the taxi company. Renee (my boss) and I have decided to start sending them my schedule via fax or email to help prevent this from happening. Though I did feel what Jim Cantore feels when I was going down the highway to get to work today. And with as hot as it was, it felt great. We have the AC in our house now and it's a godsend. I have the day off from work tomorrow, and I have some plans for gaming and maybe fan fic writing. Other than that, I won't be too busy tonight, but I'll be a helluva lot cooler than I have been. I'll be back later
  4. CBR pasta salad is complete, now all I have to do is wait for it cool off a bit before I try it.
  5. Cooking my pasta salad now :)

  6. Gonna try and make some chicken bacon ranch pasta salad tonight.
  7. It feels hotter than hell where I'm at, and it's supposed to storm off and on all week. Ironically, those storms will cool things off.
  8. Might move into my bedroom for a while to cool off and do some gaming :)

  9. It won't be for a while before I buy a new gaming console. I don't get paid much and I won't be making any serious money until I work at my new position. Jade and Snowball are still box-ridden because of how small they are, but Jade has escaped on numerous occasions.
  10. Hi everyone. I have a day off today, and I'll be doing some gaming and maybe some fan fic writing. I named 2 of our older kittens today. I named the all-white boy Snowball, and it's girl sibling Jade. I originally wanted to name it Griselda, but my brother protested. But I hope that my mom will like the names I picked for them. Today does feel cooler than yesterday, though it's supposed to be hotter. But anyways, those are my plans for today. I'll be back later
  11. CGI video of the technology of the Le Mans winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro:
  12. Hi everyone. Had a great first day at work and met up with a lot of my friends there. There were no hassles, no issues, and things seem to be a lot more organized there than last I'm I was there. I'll be resting up tonight and trying to stay cool. If it wasn't so damned hot and humid in my house, I'd consider making some chicken bacon ranch pasta salad, which would be good because that stuff's pretty good when left in the fridge to chill. I might make that stuff anyways, because it was so good the last time. I also have gaming and such and since the LM24 stuff has died down and the next WEC race isn't for three months, I'll be getting back into the swing of fan fic writing. I'll be back later
  13. Could the one in her chest be not a Zoacrystal, per se, but used for something different? I believe that it's some type of crystal that doesn't function as an actual Zoacrystal, but maybe as an energy generator/amplifier. That could explain why Shizu can heal the Libertus from injury and produce energy and manipulate the energy of other Zoanoids. That's my theory on the second "crystal".
  14. There's also two larger ones on her chest near her breasts, and two near her waist/hips. I also can't conclude as to why she has two Zoacrystals with 100% accuracy, but I'm think that it's either to boost her mind control or maybe an energy generator or recovery system? That could partially explain her abilities to heal the Libertus Zoanoids and she's kinda also like a battery/energy storage and recovery system for them, as she constantly boost their and her own energy levels.
  15. These photos sum up my weekend: https://scontent-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/t31.0-8/10443158_636737516410894_4614105943367014330_o.jpg https://scontent-b-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t1.0-9/10406547_636548133096499_3517118988196890604_n.jpg I'll be getting offline fairly soon since I do have to work tomorrow and help out with grandma before I go in. I'll be back later
  16. Well, I don't drink, period. Personal preference. I can't stand the smell of alcohol. Smells like nasty medication or other hospitaly smells or nail polish remover. The latter I can sorta stand, given that if I had a GF who was into nail art, I'd love to help her with that, but I can't stand alcohol. Even the non-alcoholic Irish cream coffee creamer stuff tastes a bit like that, unless I leave it in coffee like overnight, then it's pretty good. I've just wanted to shy away from stuff like alcohol and tobacco my whole life, and that's in spite of my parent's being smokers and such. Glad you had a good Father's Day/weekend otherwise, Riv
  17. Just to post here after watching the LM 24, and it's somewhat related to this topic. I'd have to say, IMO, that Leena Gade, who has as of today won Le Mans 3 times as a race engineer/technician for Audi Sport, is a much better role model for women in motorsports than Danica Patrick is. Unlike Danica, Leena, for one, hasn't used her gender as a sex or gender based marketing ploy. She's been featured in ads for Audi, but it reflects on her role in the team, not for the same stuff that's become synonymous with Danica. Also, though she's not a driver, Leena has also been more successful in racing as far as results than Danica. Also, Leena, like Shizu in Guyver, does show that you can still be a feminine woman in a male dominated field without using one's sexuality to get people to do crap. Hence, why I think that Leena is a great role model for women in racing, in technical fields, and women in general.
  18. Barn owl in Holland playing fetch:
  19. Also, I noticed that Griselda has several other orb/crystal like structures on her body, namely her face near her main Zoacrystal. What purpose could they serve?
  20. Survived the LM24. Three words: Audi, one, two.

  21. I'd like to welcome our new members. Don't forget to feel free to use the Hello/Introduction thread in the New Members' area. Just a nice place to say hi and introduce yourselves if you wanna use it
  22. Final word on Le Mans (unless anyone wants to add anything ): Audi 1-2, fastest race lap, ideal fastest race lap would've won them the pole for the race, and they defeated the toughest field of cars in the LM24 in several years: http://fourtitude.com/news/motorsport_news_6/triumph-le-mans-audi-defeats-porsche-toyota/
  23. Hi everyone. I'm back from watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For plenty of spoilers for the final result, there's this press release from Audi about their 1-2 finish. http://fourtitude.com/news/motorsport_news_6/triumph-le-mans-audi-defeats-porsche-toyota/ I actually enjoyed the race more than I though that I would. It was a clean race aside from some bits during a rain storm and it wasn't the wreck-fest I feared it would be, and Audi also got a 1-2 finish, the winning #2 Audi got fastest race lap, and both cars did, like almost everyone else in the field, had to battle adversity to stamp their authority on the race's results. I go back to work tomorrow, and I'll be spending much of this day resting up from my weekend and getting ready for work tomorrow. So I don't have too many plans for today I'll be back later
  24. I probably won't be online much tomorrow because of Le Mans. I'll be back Sunday :)

  25. Gonna be getting offline for some gaming, dishes and dinner. I'll be back later :)
