  1. Let's get this thread back on the right track Ignore the number on the car and instead guess it's model number, and the number before it https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t31.0-8/10460881_636478013103511_2186000581681190164_o.jpg
  2. I don't think that he actually meant to, but he certainly took full advantage of his situation.
  3. I'll be trying a pasta thing that I found in the cabinent soon.

  4. Hi everyone. I had some fish and went to sleep last night, and I got up around 6:00 this morning. Jade and Snowball are doing well, and both are exploring on the floor now and are eating solid cat food. Shelby (our 6 month old black and white kitten) is trying to flee outside every time someone tries to go out the front door. My older brother has his first day at work today, so that's part of the reason I'm up now (though I did get up on my own). I'll probably be staying up until my little brother gets up, and I'll be making my grandma breakfast and giving her her meds this morning, as I do most mornings. Other than that, I have the usual planned (gaming, looking up stuff, etc), I'll probably be making chicken tonight for dinner and I'll be working from 12:00-3:00 tomorrow. I also hope that you liked the photos I posted. I'll be back later
  5. Hi everyone. I just got home a while ago, and I can report that Jade and Snowball can explore on the floor and both can eat solid food. I had a pretty good day at work and I'll be working from 12:00-3:00 on Friday. Some extra pay isn't that bad, now is it? I'm hoping to work on some fan fic tonight and doing some gaming later on. I'll also be deciding on making chicken or fish for dinner tonight. After all, I've only really had toast so far today. I'd also like to post this that I found this yesterday and this morning: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.10152477496789099&type=1 I'll be back later
  6. If that's the case, then there's no excuse to turn up to work unless it's absolutely necessary. Hell, it seems that they give employees plenty of reasons and incentives to call off sick if they're not well. Headaches, upset stomachs, maybe a minor cold, I can understand. But if you've got a bad cold or the flu or worse, why risk it and making others sick at work? And as you mentioned, any disease going around could close the plant until at least everything is disinfected. Very counter productive I say. That's why when I'm really sick, I usually call off work. Everyone congregates around my area where I work, and there's no reason, especially in seasons where people get ill anyways, for me to risk making things worse for myself or others.
  7. I hope you enjoy your time here. I'm one of the more frequent posters here. I hope you have fun here
  8. Some of it's greed or even the simple want/need for money, and some people who run and own some of these places are bungholes with sick pay and benefits. I didn't like calling off work and when I was only slightly ill, I went in. But if I was total crap, I called off. Lots of people go though the office where I work, and hence if I'm sick, the chances are good that they might get what I have, and vice versa. Of course, the flu in winter is bad enough. It's now in the middle of summer and that'll only make things worse if anything. I hope that you'll be feeling better soon.
  9. Hi everyone. I'm up early this morning because my little brother has something to do with his father and one of his friends. So that's why I'm up now, unlike yesterday which was work related. The latest report on my kittens is that Jade can drink from a water dish and Snowball seems to be ready to go exploring on the floor. Jade has already been exploring since last night and she's been over to the cat's food trough thing, though I don't know if she's tried eating yet. I don't have much planned for today. Maybe working on some fan fic later and looking up some stuff and maybe some gaming later. Then it's back to work tomorrow. I'll be back later
  10. Hi everyone. Got home from work and had a good day. I took about a 4 hour nap when I got home. At work, we might be doing something different with my transportation. We're thinking of switching taxi companies because of them getting me there late and I'm having issues with getting stuff scheduled with them. It seems to be a problem at their office and not with their drivers, who give great service, but something IMO isn't right with the administrative/scheduling end of things at the main office. Other than that, I'm pretty happy right now. I'm going to be making some chicken/bacon ranch wraps to eat soon, because I haven't eaten anything since this morning. I'll be looking up stuff, doing some gaming and maybe writing fan fic over the next day or so and tonight. I'll be back later
  11. Looking up some stuff and I'll be getting ready for work in a couple of hours.

  12. Audi is now 2 for 2 on consecutive weekends for 24 hour races.

  13. Hi everyone. This morning, Audi won their second 24 hour race in a week at the Nurburgring 24 hour race. Right now, I'm waiting for my parents to arrive with my groceries and such. I don't have much else planned, though I do plan on watching the NASCAR race later on, as it's also on a road course, as well as some gaming and such. Probably no or not much fan fic work tonight, since I do have work tomorrow. I'll be back later
  14. Just had an excellent dinner and soon I'll be resting up. I'll be back online later :)

  15. Hi everyone. I have plans of watching the NASCAR races this weekend, since they are road course races. I also plan on making some chicken nachos tonight when I watch the shortened highlighted Nationwide Series race tonight. I also wanna do some gaming and I'll probably get started on working on some fan fic tomorrow night. Also, Audi were supposed to run the Le Mans winning R18 around the Nurburgring circuit before the 24 Hour race there this weekend, but I haven't seen any photos or reports of that yet. I'll be back later
  16. Pizza and F1 time, then LM24 highlights and NASCAR. I'll be back late tonight, hopefully :)

  17. If you vacation in the Dominican Republic, you might find one of these, the Ashy-faced Owl, a close relative of the Barn Owl, which also populates the island:
  18. Home made pizza tonight! (well, a Chef Boyardee pizza, but you get the picture )
  19. Rained a ton today. But after Sunday, it's supposed to be dry for almost a week.
  20. Even if it's not a Zoacrystal, it has to be capable of doing something. I don't think it's there for decoration. That'd be Shizu getting a mani-pedi or earrings or her hair done. The crystal on her chest probably has some function beyond cosmetics.
  21. Hi everyone. Had a great day at work today. Got home and took a nap for a couple of hours, and I'm ready for tonight. I'll be watching F1 practice, NASCAR practice and a show about this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. I'll also be making a pizza tonight. Outside of that, I won't be doing too much. I'll be back later
  22. About to get offline for a while for dish washing, gaming and rest. I'll be back later :)

  23. Random fact. A quadruple stint at Le Mans for Audi this year was 52 laps around a 8.47 mile track. That equals just over 440 miles. The average NASCAR Sprint Cup points race, once all the math is done (adding race distance and dividing by 36, the number of points paying races a season), is about 365 miles. Meaning that Audi ran more than an average NASCAR race's distance on one set of tires, and they did it almost the whole race until the end with how driver rotations played out and they did full service on the cars when they had their turbocharger issues. But Audi did average more than a NASCAR races' average distance on one set of tires.

  25. Hi everyone. AC is king where I'm at! The best thing that's happened since I got my job and Audi took a 1-2 at Le Mans on Sunday. After saying it was supposed to rain all week since Sunday, it finally rained last night. And it looks like more of the same today. I got my new schedule from work today and I'll pick up a paper copy tomorrow. Today's a day off and I'm wondering on what I'll do today aside from some gaming. I'll probably work on fan fic if I get a chance because I've been thinking a lot about my character Jennifer in it. Between NASCAR's road racing weekend and coming off Le Mans, I have plenty of gaming stuff I'd like to try out. Other than that, I plan on staying cool (much easier now) and having some fun today I'll be back later
