  1. Aside from our kittens (which are too little to go outside and be safe), our cats are allowed to explore at their will. All they need to do is go up by the door, and that seems to be the universally accepted signal that they want to go outside. Seemingly, some of them never want to come back in once they're let out, because they really like to spend time outside, at least when it's warm. Some of them also catch and kill mice and moles and the like. And it should be noted that all the cats we have were either strays or were born from strays we adopted. Better to bring them into our home than let them run wild and risk getting injured, sick, or killed. We ended up with our cat that likes sleeping on tractors and such that way. He was walking around the parking lot where my mom and one of her friends worked. Her friend brought him in and my brother brought him home. He had an injured leg that has since healed, and he enjoyed being around people, though not other cats initially. But he was only a kitten when he was found, and he's mostly well behaved. That's what I like about cats. Unless you're giving them attention or food, they don't give a crap about what's going on, and they're really independent animals, and there's such a variety of cats as far as shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities. BTW, as far as who the cat's main caretaker in our family goes, we have a rule: you name it, it's pretty much "yours". Once you name it, you basically adopt it.
  2. Most of our cats are what could maybe be called barn cats, in that a lot of them like to spend time outside (at least in the summer) and one of our cats seems to be very fond of some of the farm/outdoor machinery we have at our house (he'll sleep on tractors and such). A legitimate barn cat comes to our house for food sometimes, but we don't take him in because we're sure he's our neighbor's cat, and he seems deathly afraid of getting his ass kicked by some of our female cats that spend a lot of time indoors. We have 5 kittens. One is 6 months old, my kittens, Jade and Snowball, are about 2 months old or so, and we have two more that are only a few weeks old. We have to be careful of the 6 month old, since she tries to run outside and she's too small to be let outside on her own. Jade and Snowball rarely leave the living room for any length of time, though they do like human interaction, though Jade doesn't like to be held. Strangely, a couple of our cats swapped babies when one of them gave birth. Jade and Snowball were taken care of by another cat, while Jade and Snowballs mother took care of the other cat's newborns. Anyone know of that happening before?
  3. Barn Owls hate cameras: </a></p>
  4. Wanna know what's awesome. Cheez-it Grooves crackers. I bought some tonight at Walmart, and they're phenomenal. When I get back up later tonight after a nap, I might make some pork chops and find something on TV to watch.
  5. My grandma likes elephants, though cats, barn owls and camels are my own thing mainly.
  6. Hi everyone. I haven't been up to too much today so far. I want to wash some dishes later on and make some pork chops for dinner. Though, I did find this on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=318864391628515&set=vb.283381475176807&type=2&theater Other than that, I don't really have any set plans for today. I'll be back later
  7. I found this on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=318864391628515&set=vb.283381475176807&type=2&theater
  8. This is a thread about pets and animals that we own or are interested in. Personally, I own two kittens, one named Jade and the other named Snowball. Both are mostly white (Snowball is all white) and are long haired. We have several cats around here, but those are the two that I claim ownership of. As far as other animals, I've been interested in Camels and Barn Owls. I haven't seen a camel in person, nor have I seen a barn owl. I'll at least seen one hopefully within the next week or two, though, since we have a bird sanctuary in town. So talk away about your pets and favorite animals
  9. Well, I'm an Audi fan so that makes me an outcast, I guess And other than occasion highlights on Fox Sports, there's not much on V8 Supercars here in the US unless Marcos Ambrose is mentioned (who races in Sprint Cup now). From what I've heard from Ford, when quoted in articles about the subject, they will retire the Falcon name for the foreseeable future when it leaves production in a few years time. It'll be replaced mostly likely by the Fusion/Mondeo as a family car, and the Mustang as a performance car. For the Commodore, Holden probably will no longer build them in AU. But, especially if it's RWD, it'll be built somewhere. It's built as the Buick Park Avenue in China, sold in the US as the Chevy SS, and it's underpinnings are used for the Camero. If it'll continue to be RWD, it'll be built somewhere, but not in AU, certainly not complete assembly. I never realized that you were a motorsports fan, Jade. I might message you later on about some of that stuff as far as what I like and watch, and give an update on my fan fic. But on one of the subjects on this thread, I do wonder how far we are away from moving from using large stamping machines to make parts from sheet metal, to metal 3D printing on a large scale? It's feasable, but that'll mean a transition from stamped sheet metal parts to 3D printed parts. It'll also mean more investment in new equipment as well.
  10. One of the dumbest videos I've seen, but I can't stop laughing at it. Radio personality Uncle Vito as his children's show counterpart Ranger Danger interviewing the Undertaker and Paul Bearer about 20 years ago. This shows what you to ask Undertaker if you're interviewing him: It's a worked intake of an outtake, meaning it was filmed intentionally as a joke and wasn't intended for release until Uncle Vito released it a while ago on his site.
  11. Hi everyone. I had a great day at work and now I'm back home. I hope to work on writing some fan fic stuff and doing some gaming over the weekend. And at least the weather will change over the weekend. Other than that, I don't have too much to say right now. I'll be having another pizza for dinner and relaxing tonight. I'll be back later
  12. Yeah, Jade, the humidity is supposed to end by Monday when a big front pulls though and knocks down the temps down into the low 70's for highs. But that won't be for a few days yet.
  13. Some Commonwealth of Nations countries with close ties to the UK (UK, AU, NZ, Malta, South Africa) are still RHD. Some cars imported from CoN nations are RHD, especially if the meet US/CND import waiver regs (20 years old in the US, 25 years old in CND). But Japan has been the biggest hold out other than several CoN nations. Last I heard, Ford wouldn't be making the Falcon anywhere, one big reason is the adaption of the Taurus SHO (with AWD) as a police car and the Taurus is Ford's main full size car (though the Fusion/Mondeo is about the same size), but Holden could build the Commodore in China or even North America. But the only way that Ford and Holden will be building cars in Australia as far as anything mass production is building vehicles under subcontract for the AU market from knock-down kits. I can't see Ford or GM providing much if any support for mass production of AU specific models unless the situation with tariffs and taxes change or they get more government money or it becomes profitable to build in AU again. Oddly enough in motorsport, Audi are the only big team running right-hand drive LMP1 cars, due to trying to make driver changes at most tracks faster. Originally, all Audi LMP1 cars were LHD because most Audi road cars were LHD and Audi was the first European company to standardize on LHD in the 1930s. Audi reported switched to RHD for the R18 due to it being a closed car--aside from the Audi R8C of 1999, which was ironically LHD, other Audi LM cars were open cockpit and LHD.
  14. Not to mention that GM is milking it due to Bumblebee's disguise being a Chevy Camero in the new series.
  15. As I said, fat chance at any of them having a normal life, because it's pretty much a 99.9% impossibility for them to have lives the way they were before the whole Guyver incident. There could be those loyal to Chronos who might want Sho's head, if some amoral bastards get their hands on Chronos' technology and want to use it for their own means, that could be trouble. The best adjusted might be the likes of Shizu, Agito, and Aptom, but the the phrase "normal life" won't mean much if anything to them, because their whole lives have been pretty much anything but what we'd consider to be "normal". They're used to their lives not fitting in to what would stereotypically be normal, though Sho, Mizuki, Natsuki and Tetsuro would probably be to that point, too, since they've basically "seen it all". But as Jade pointed out, they can probably still live peaceful, happy lives once they adapt to a post Chronos world. And as she also suggested, there's guesses and assumptions there, because we haven't gotten to that point in the story yet. We can only guess as to what might happen, though we do know what the characters are like and that does give us some info to form opinions or theories on that subject.
  16. I know that areas of Australia have been having issues with off and on drought and limited rain falls. Seems to be a feast or famine cycle as far as rain goes in areas of the country. Meanwhile, here, it's as humid as hell and seems to want to rain every other day or so. Finally, though, after this weekend we'll get a serious dry stretch and it'll cool off.
  17. There's a North American implication, as the Chevrolet SS is a NA spec Holden Commodore. The Chevy SS is GM's entry into NASCAR and is intended to be their answer to the Audi S4, BMW 335i and the higher non-AMG spec Mercedes-Benz C-class. From what I've heard, the Commodore, if it will continue to the a RWD car, might be built in China, where the GM division there builds the Commodore (as the Buick Park Avenue) under license. Also, it's good bye Ford Falcon. It's due to be replaced by RHD versions of the Ford Mustang as a performance car (ironically, the new Mustang uses an independent rear suspension system similar to the Falcon), and it's again one of those deal where both Ford and GM think that they'd be better off importing NA or EU spec cars modified to suit the Australian market then to mass produce cars there, especially AU only or AU market dominant larger RWD sedans that they don't or have difficulties marketing elsewhere. GM and Ford already import or build several NA/EU spec cars in Australia, and that trend seems set to continue due to trade taxes and tariffs.
  18. Hi everyone. I slept in last night and today I'll be trying to work on cleaning a bag for taking some stuff to work tomorrow. I'll be doing some gaming and some other stuff I wanna catch up on today and some other stuff, including finally making that pizza I've been wanting to make. And I've been making sandwiches out of Italian and French bread as well as sandwich wraps. I'll also take some books with me to work and put in that bag I wanna clean. I'll be back later
  19. Normal life before the whole Guyver incident? Probably nothing they'll experience again. To be fair, it could be said that Shizu and Agito wouldn't know what a "normal" life is, or Aptom really. In a way, the current events have become their "normal" lives.
  20. Granted, this happened before he transformed, but the Guyver unit healed Sho when Aptom impaled him with that claw thing that Enzyme IIs have. But then again, the Guyver unit is sentient to a degree, and if this happened while the host was transforming into the armor, I wonder if such an attack would be successful, since the armor deploys a "sphere of destruction" that can destroy or damage anything within a few feet radius of the host.
  21. It'd take a while before the world is totally "back to normal" and such. One issue could be Chronos loyalist wanting to gun for Sho and his allies. It'd probably take years for grudges to fade and Sho and Mizuki to have a life as a normal married couple. Then there's those who might not be able to return to a normal life. Sho, if he proves to be a popular hero, would be one, but then there's also Agito, with whom who knows if he'll be satisfied with Chrono's destruction, and Shizu/Griselda and the Libertus and Aptom. Creatures that are either insanely powerful and advanced, or with Shizu and the Libertus, would need reprocessing to live a full life. Maybe Guyver will end like the Twilight Saga did with Renesmee and it's up to our imagination on how things will work out for them after the big evil goes down for good.
  22. And to reply to your post, Jupiter (you posted while I was typing), I had a Big King, Chicken Big King, and an Original Chicken Sandwich with fries. Nothing really special, aside from the fact that I hadn't had that stuff in a while.
  23. Hi everyone. Got home from work, meeting went well, and I don't have to work tomorrow. I have the usual planned for tonight, and I do intend on getting some of that stuff done tonight. I might even do some fan fic work as well. Just to post some stuff that might be of interest, here's some Laserlight stuff: https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t31.0-8/1502426_540018136117680_929781961_o.jpg https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/t1.0-9/1459082_270860016426004_290732148_n.jpg http://www.car-revs-daily.com/file/2014/01/CarRevsDaily.com-Laser-Lighting-for-2014-AUDI-R18-LeMans-3.jpg And from the Goodwood Festival of Speed: I'll be back later
  24. Hi everyone. I'm back at home enjoying some Burger King after cashing my paycheck. Had a pretty good day at work and I have a meeting after work tomorrow to talk about some stuff and to try and plan an outing for next week. It's been humid and rainy here, and that'll be the pattern until tomorrow night. Hopefully I can stay up later tonight than I did last night. I pretty much slept in last night. Plans the same as always, though, basically. I hope that things go well for my meeting tomorrow. I'll be back later
  25. I always found the Burger King blowing Ronald's head off GIF to be hilarious, and I like eating at both places.
