Question about the gravity controler.
zeo replied to Warbyrd13's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
You could create a hybrid device like a Kavzar's Control Crystal or add a specialized device like GWOTG's hyper space orbs. Or just add more gravity control orbs like Merc Guyver has. Or just mutate the organism to absorb ambient energy. Or make a Guyver Zektole and it will have that ability naturally since Zektole can absorb ambient energy -
Limitations to a Guyver's Telepathic Link

Maybe but this has never been shown throughout the entire Manga and like I said before, you would still need someone to pilot the Relic and tell it to do that first. -
Limitations to a Guyver's Telepathic Link
zeo replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
No, at best a Guyver would have to be on the Relic to teleport the Guyver on the planet. And that's assuming the Relic is capable of teleporting something from a distance. Note the Gigantic has to come to the Guyver, it doesn't bring the Guyver to it. -
Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
The Creators would have an invested interest to keep the Earth safe from the Grakken to prevent any advance tech from getting into their hands. There is also the fact that Jason saved them from the Guyver Zoalord hanging over them and the Earth is still valuable as a testing ground. And really, all Carter needs is to ensure the Grakken never come back in force. -
Doesn't have to take up the whole chest cavity, but between them and the bigger heart there would be little to no room for the lungs and makes little sense to keep the lungs near a high energy weapon. And what ever barrier there may be the fact is the smashers made the chest plates glow and smoke and they are armor!!! Not to mention any barrier would take up even more space making the idea of keeping the lungs there even less likely. Besides which the Guyver doesn't need massive lung capacity. Most of the internal organs are regressed so there is little besides the muscles and brain that would require oxygen. Normal human lungs only extract about 10% of the air we breath but the Guyver doesn't even need to use breath to talk. All sound is generated by the sonic emitters. While the Guyver lungs are efficient enough to breath even underwater where there is little oxygen. For example if you give a normal human gills like a fish they would barely provide enough oxygen to keep a person alive let alone conscious. The Guyver lungs are obviously super efficent and placing them nearer the neck tubes would be more efficient for oxygen extraction. Add that the Guyver lungs only need to supply oxygen to keep the host brain and muscles going and nothing else. Then it seems pretty clear there should only be one pair of lungs. Regression of the other internal organs also shows the Guyver reduces redundancy. Only essential organs are kept while the organism and unit regneration handles everything else.

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Also, everyone remember it is the Grakken attacking Earth right now in 7DOH. The Creators aren't the one's threatening the Earth right now! Not to mention all the times the Creators have helped Jason and the other Guyvers. So aside from the argument about strength in numbers, there really isn't a reason for Jason to become buddies with Chronos. He may distrust the Creators and have his suspicions but he's less suspicious of them than he is of Chronos, who he has really good reasons not to trust. Really, with the Grakken threat Carter and others may actually consider an alliance with the Creators instead of with Chronos. Not to mention most would think Alkanphel's plan for revenge is frankly a mad dream anyway. The only one who would be really against that would be WG2 but he's of course biased in that regard. -
Fully powered Guyver Zoalord vs. Atrahasis
zeo replied to guyverfanatic's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
Well Kavzars may be weaker than Jy-Taki but Commanders at least aren't that easy to defeat. Even if you manage to blow one up you better make sure you vaporize the Control Crystal completely or it'll just pull itself together and then regenerate completely. Then there are the Enforcers which nearly rival even Dreadnought's level of power. Not to mention other unknown weapons since the Creators never stopped developing their technology. As for the Grakken, they have the technology to give their soldiers suicide bombs and they would quickly adapt that practice when they face the OOA. While the Aceaers may be a source of meat, it wouldn't be that difficult for the Creators to just upgrade them all to Kavzars. So though the OOA could fairly easily defeat the WG universe if they come in force, it would be fairly lean pickings. -
That's in reference to us humans! Life itself can happen far more easily. The basic building blocks can be found in space itself and all it needs is enough water and energy to work with. Mars for example has been discovered to have once been fairly Earth like before it lost it surface water and it's core grew cold. Earth for example not only depends on the sun but also the internal heat generated within. The moon was mainly just a stabilizing factor, taking enough asteroid impacts so life on Earth would have time to evolve to more complex forms. So in the search for intelligent life we look for Earth like planets with moons. But life can exist without a moon, it'll just be hammered so much that nothing overly complex would have had time to evolve.

Consider that the Gigantic is not as dense as the Guyver, simple body mass index calculation between Gigantic height and weight and the Guyver height and weight shows this. Now consider that the Giant Gigantic is probably charged to the gills with energy, which could explain why it turned red. So would technically be even less dense. Khan himself may be as big as Godzilla but is only a portion of Godzilla's weight. Khan's form is under 6000 tons while Godzilla is many times that (20,000 to 60,000 depending on which version). So Giant Gigantic is probably about the same mass density as Khan, give or take a couple hundred tons. As for muscle power, the Giant Gigantic is a bit slower than the normal Gigantic. And has shown that it needs to use the Back Thrusters to fly. So there was some compromise. But since the Gigantic is basically a balloon of energy now it can channel a lot more energy into boosting muscle power. After all that has always been how the unit has augmented the host strength, channeling energy to boost strength and now with immense energy it helps compensate for the size and weight. Basically like hydrolics this does make the strength scalable so long as there is energy enough to supply that power. He is definitely physically stronger than Khan, in one scene he grabbed his arms and Khan couldn't bulge. It even appeared like GGG1 ripped Khan's forearms off though that could have been Khan sacrificing them to get away.

The Smasher cells expand when they are charging up to fire. There is actual two conflicting translations on what the unit does to the host lungs. In the first translation it was stated that the lungs collapse when the smashers start to charge up and breathing is taken up by the secondary lungs at the base of the neck where the neck tubes feed into. The toobs btw syphon oxygen from the air and can work even underwater, allowing the Guyver to breath in virtually any environment. The newer translation however states the lungs are replaced by the Smasher cells and the secondary lungs are in fact the new main lungs. I personally believe the newer translation as it makes more sense, rather than keeping two sets of lungs. The Guyver has no vocal cords so has no need to manipulate air to talk. Also the heart is replaced with a superior version which would of course take up more space. Add the space taken up by the Smasher cells and it makes very little sense to keep them their. Then consider when G1 mentally fired the Smashers during his fight with the first Combo Form Aptom. He couldn't open the chest plates with his hand so the smashers started charging with them closed. His chest plates even started to smoke. Imagine then the damage they would do to the lungs if they were pressing right against them? As to the jellyfish aspect, the cells both expand to contain the charge and also focus the particle stream like a lense.

Limitations to a Guyver's Telepathic Link
zeo replied to Shenzon's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Star Trek style teleportation has never been shown in the Manga. The closest was when the Relic was blown up it teleported the Gigantic Cocoon and the other passengers to different parts of the world. But that was from the Relic and was most likely just a spacial displacement and not an actual matter/energy transportation. Also a Guyver needs to be close to the Relic to have any kind of control over it. Sho had to expose his CM by having it fully extend out before he took full control of the Relic. -
Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Here's the problem though, you are all confusing how Chronos has been portrayed in the fan fics with what their real intentions are. Chronos wasn't made to protect Earth from the Creators. It was created so Alkanphel could prove to the Creators that he and the project were not failures. Alkanphel didn't save the world for the sake of the people, he saved the world for his own selfish reasons. 1) He didn't want to die and 2) He needed to justify his existence. Like he demanded of the Creators when they were leaving, "Why was I created then?" Alkanphel is like an abandoned child wondering why he exists, what his purpose is, etc. And as far as the Creators are concerned in the Manga Earth is long gone. So Chronos would actually endanger the Earth by going after the Creators. -
Correct, eyes merge, sonic orbs are used for speach, etc..

Okay, you want answers. . . Here's most of them The Gigantic is smaller inside the cocoon. In fact if you see the Gigantic standing next to the Cocoon after activation it is bigger than the Cocoon. It's also one of the reasons the spikes pop out after the Gigantic exits the Cocoon. Though in the Manga some times the Gigantic exits the Cocoon before wrapping onto the host Guyver as happened one time when G1 activated it in mid-air. This is the scene that shows the Gigantic wrapping around him like a second skin before growing into it's final state. This is also shown with the host unit, like the first time it was deactivated by Sho we could see it sort of shrunken/shriveled up like a discarded skin before it sank into the pond/lake. This versus each time we see it activated we are shown the muscles and shoulders expanding upon activation. We also know from the translation that the Guyver unit significantly alters the host internal structure. The lungs are replaced by the Smasher cells and a smaller more efficient pair are placed near the neck, the vocal cords are removed, the heart is replaced/transformed into a superior version but still linked to host brain so has the exact same heart beat pattern. The other internal organs are pretty much all regressed as their is no need for digestion system since the Guyver has unlimited energy so the host doesn't need to eat while using the armor. The organism merges with the bones and muscles and channels energy into them vastly increasing their strength and power. Momentum enhancer organs are placed at key points throughout the body allowing the Guyver to boost momentum by 10x. So kicks and punches, etc. are extremely powerful. All channeling gravitational energy from the gravity control orb which when they get to the wrist/palms area the special organs their allow them to focus the energy to form the pressure cannon. The organs in the hips allow the energy to be focused like a gyroscope which allows the unit to focus the gravitational energy to allow the Guyver to fly. The Guyver eyes merge with the hosts to provide superior vision since the Guyver eyes provide a much larger surface area, absorbing more light and providing a larger peripheral vision range. The sonic orbs produce all sound so are used for both speach and for sonic attacks of varying power and range. The multiple orbs allows for detuning which allows the sonic beam to be properly focused for long range attacks. The additional orbs provided by the Gigantic allows greater detuning range so the Gigantic can fire the sonic attack at much further range and power. GG1 has 2 extra (for a "T" shaped configeration), while GG3 has 3 (for an "X" shaped configeration) extra sonic buster orbs. The power amps on the Gigantic follow pretty much the same layout as the momentum enhancers on the normal Guyver. So similarly they channel the unit's gravitational energy but the Gigantic has three gravity control orbs and the power amps focus and amplify the energy being channeled to the point that the Gigantic has 20x the power of a normal unit. The head beam channels and focus heat energy from inside the Guyver providing a sort of heat valve that also serves as a weapon. Though the Guyver itself is pretty much immune to the head beam, only produces small scorch marks, it is easily hot enough to slice through steel I-Beams as easily as a knife through air and is classified as a superior laser weapon than Vamore's. The Gigantic's main head beam orb is larger and so can fire a discharge 5x more powerful but also has two additional smaller orbs on either side that can fire at the normal 1x power level. Providing the Gigantic a maximum of 7x the laser fire power of a normal Guyver. The Gigantic's knuckles are metallic but nothing is stated about them other than that they are what focus and discharges the gravity knuckles (aka power punch) attack. Channeling power from the power amps to produce a massive discharge that can kill zoanoids even without direct contact as was shown when GG1 took care of an entire hallway of zoanoids with one punch in their direction. The chest spike on the Gigantic can extend like a vibrational sword to form a spear like protrusion that the Gigantic extends foward as it fires its back thrusters and activates it's barrier shield as it hurtles towards it's target. This attack is called the Gravity Ram and is considered an extremely powerful attack with the added benefit of shielding the Gigantic at the same time. The Vibrational swords are specialized armor made to vibrate at high frequency which creates a sonic shockwave that breaks apart the molecular bonds of the target mass. Allowing this weapon to slice through virtually any unshielded material. The Guyver swords extend up to 1 meter each and can alter angle a few degrees either forward or back. Making it easier to use them either forward or backward. The Gigantic version adds functionality. The swords can be extended like normal for up to 3 meters length each or the protruding type end can be fired like a harpoon as the remaining length shoots out like a tendril whip for longer range attack. Maximum range is unknown but I think it's around 100 feet or less. The Gigantic back thrusters are derived from the Relic and are basically plasma jet rockets that allows the Gigantic to rapidly accelerate. Top speed was never given but is presumed to allow for super sonic flight. The power amps apparently also serve as gravitational gryoscopes since GG3 was able to control his severed leg and made it fly and kick an opponent. The Hyper Sensor orbs provide the Guyver a 3D RADAR like sense that can allow the Guyver to sense movement of opponents even through walls. With proper focus the Guyver can also scan internal organs and even tell a human from a Zoanoid by scanning their brains. Exact range of the Hyper Sensors are unknown but it is guessed to be about 100 meters. But the host has to concentrate to use them as was shown in the early days of G1 in which it took awhile before he learned to properly use them. The Gigantic adds three more sensor orbs for greater detail and range. The largest of the approximately 12 power amps are the shoulder pods which is what generates the barrier shield. How powerful this shield is is unknown but is assumed to be equivalent to a Zoalord's shield. It has been noted that a massive lightning strike that was capable to turning an entire city block into a molten mess shattered all the power amp crystals. Though most assumed this was done with the barrier shield up I don't believe that was the case since the Gigantic was performing a gravity knuckle attack at the time so the shield was not up. So is more a testament to how tough the Gigantic is physically. The Gigantic armor is thicker and more dense so it is very hard to significantly harm a Gigantic. Zoalord Khan in his Dragon Wave form, which is just a little under 6000 tons, stomped repeated on GG1 without seriously harming him. Physical strength of the Gigantic was never given but I've calculated it to about 5x the Guyver. Though many assume the 20x given for power also stands for the physical strength but I see nothing to support this belief. The Gigantic's power actually varies and the head beam is only 5x so I think the strength is just equivalent to size increase. The Smashers for example are 100x more powerful for the Gigantic. Though the limits of the Gigantic was assumed that when the Gigantic fires its smashers that it can no longer support the Gigantic so it falls off. But this may have been just a limitation imposed by Sho as he has recently revealed the Gigantic's true power. Spoiler..... The Gigantic can syphon energy non-stop to the point it will grow to about 60 meters tall. Range of powers in this state is unknown but is assumed to be incredibly powerful and armor turns reddish and backthrusters are used to fly. So... any other questions?

In part you can say Zagam is already a result of this, since he is already fused with his Warrior Gigantic and has been significantly altered, but for all intent and purpose it is an ability he has now lost. Not to mention it would never occur to him to change himself from what his god/master has turned him into as that would be blasphemy. God's/Master's don't make mistakes. And Anubis wouldn't allow it as it would be a dangerous potential to either making Zagam too powerful and/or could turn him against the order if Zagam altered his Lycanlord biology. Pretty much the same reason Anubis removed the ability to travel through time, other than what applies to travel to other realities, etc.

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
True, it's within Jason's power to restore Alkanphel. But Alkanphel was the one who killed all of his family and friends on X-Day. He had thought Jenny was dead as well until she turned up as an Overlord. And though he has Fiona back, the fact still remains the one he originally knew is still dead and it is Alkanphel who was responsible. Hate like that won't ever go away completely. So Jason might work with him to save the Earth but he won't go out of his way to help him. -
As long as he remains fully human that limitation will remain. The unit is not the limiting factor, he is. Perminently bonding with the Gigantic won't really change anything significant aside from perminently altering his unit. His unit will still have to power down to avoid frying the host from the power. Also it has to occur to Jason to even bother doing that when he's perfectly satisfied with the present arrangement. Not to mention bonuses like letting his wife use it, which wouldn't be possible if he perminently bonded with it. Jason's not like Agito, he only uses the power because he needs to and not because he wants it.

I'm not beating around the bush, in the Manga the entire Gigantic steamed when it first activated, not just the shoulder pods, and the FACT is whenever the Gigantic is activated it is a Bio-Boost just like with the normal Unit. If the anime did it differently then that's just the animators artistic license. Every time the unit has activated in the Manga it has always been the whole armor. Though a far simplier explaination is the that when the spike pushed its way outward it also pushed out any residual steaming from the Bio-Boost that would have been contained by the pod cavity. So it would be the last bit to dissapate. Or like the movie Aliens, like the steam coming from their extending mouths, there may just have been some liquid on the spikes that steamed. Or that could have been the animators interpretation since the Guyver and the Gigantic are organic. And the Bio-Boost can make the armor hot. Remember when G3 landed on that rooftop his feet cooked it a bit after he had hitched a ride with the Gigantic Cocoon through hyper space. But also remember that the Gigantic threw a power punch (aka Gravity Knuckles) at Neo-Zektole. This normally produces a bit of a light show as the energy is focused and fired from the knuckles. But in the anime the power amps and knuckles remained all but dark during the battle. So I wouldn't be taking everything you see in the anime literally. The Bio-Boost itself is why the Gigantic can instantly regenerate when passed from one Guyver to another, with only it's energy reserves suffering as that takes longer to recharge. But yes, the Gigantic does alter the Guyver just like the Guyver alters the host. The exact sequence is this. . . The host unit CM extends, then the Gigantic CM ring appears and merges with the host CM to form the Gigantic CM. While the Gigantic organism goes over the Guyver like a second skin. Merged the Gigantic then grows to Gigantic size, just like the normal Gigantic muscles and shoulders are shown expanding in the anime, and the transformation is complete.

Marvel Characters vs. the Guyvers
zeo replied to Weltall2's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I believe that as well Tyranthrax, though there is debate as to what exactly the Creators did to him. The scene in which they commanded him to stop shows an electrical like shower hitting Alkanphel. Judging from the previous scene with the Creators, CM's being displayed in a virtual chamber, this took place on the telepathic mental field as he was in contact with the Creators when this happened and it does match up with whenever telepathy or a strong mental reaction is shown in the Manga. But some argue this was a physical attack and point to apparent scorch marks over his body just before he realizes the meteor is headed towards the Earth. But Takaya uses that effect for everything including stress so I don't think it is conclusive. Also, considering his distance from the Creator ships and that an electrical attack powerful enough to harm Alkanphel would easily have dealt with Guyver Zero, not to mention electricity doesn't arc in the vaccuum of space, that I believe it was a mental attack. In either case it is pretty clear that Alkanphel has to continuously fight against the paralysis and this is what causes his hybernation periods. Apparently the strain of creating Chronos has made this condition steadily worse and even prompted him to groom Imakirum to take over for him. -
For a normal Guyver, absolutely not. But Dreadnought isn't a normal Guyver and it doesn't matter what part the Matrix is bonded to. If Jason wanted to he could perminently fuse with the Warrior Gigantic because of the Matrix. The only limit would be the CM itself, being the one thing not even the Matrix can change without risk. So the changes would have to work around it, body only, otherwise Allen is correct that the changes would be mainly cosmetic. But the point is pretty moot as Jason would never willingly alter himself. So the closest he'll ever come is either a moldiver effect or a cloak/hologram effect like what Jason did in Strange World when he tried to sneak into the Chronos building.

Fully powered Guyver Zoalord vs. Atrahasis
zeo replied to guyverfanatic's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
He's not entirely W'Kar based, at best he barely rates as a reproduction. Remember they wanted him controllable and he was a Combination of WG2 and GWOTG Creator tech. Besides that wouldn't explain the anti-matter, which there was only a small supply contained within it's control crystal/metal. -
Well he could always use his Matrix Powers to produce a Moldiver effect and dimensionally reshape his armor to appear as something else or just cloak/hologram it. He'd only need to alter himself if he was to physically/biologically alter his form.
-
Depends on how much heat energy the Guyver Absorbed but basically the power output is constant so would just mean they can fire it longer.

Question about the gravity controler.
zeo replied to Warbyrd13's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Again, Zoacrystals don't draw in energy. Your character would be trading the energy syphon for increased energy reserves. So there would be short term benefits but your character would quickly exhaust their reserve energy and become helpless. But what you are describing is not even a Zoacrysal but rather the Gravity Points on Guyot, only the crystal in his forehead was a Zoacrystal. The Gravity Points are the source of his gravitational power but they get used up as he uses them. If you want that just add Gravity Points onto the body of your character.
