  1. Honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Only thing I didn't care for was Jared Leto's joker.
  2. Giving a guyver unit to Leather Face would be like giving a nuke to the village idiot.

    Bionoid

It looks like a cross between a Guyver and a praying mantis.
  4. In a sense yes. A lost number is basically a failed experiment that Chronos scientists still experiment with.
  5. I'll wait and see what the reviews say. They normally save me the trouble of seeing movies that do badly.
  6. Prepare for the ultimate battle!
  7. Honestly I think that the Guyver units appearance is more than likey based on the host's personality and the armor just reflects that. Agito is an aggressive and violent person and goes out of his way to kill his enemies which is probably why he has a total of 4 blades instead of the standard 2. Where Sho is caring and protective of his friends and doesn't act unless he's threatened.
  8. Basically a similar design was used on 2. Minus the frequency blades on the heels. For one, Guyver 0 was just a Neanderthal who hadn't reached full use of the unit when the unit was deactivated and returned to the creators and the host was disposed of. I have a theory. I can't help but think that maybe the Guyver 0 unit was maybe the unit that was cracked and passed on to Lisker? Since it was said by the Zoalords that there was only 3 in existence.
  9. I honestly was tired of watching DBZ when it ended in it's last season. A lot of it just seems over exaggerated and it became very repetitive during and after the Cell arc. Even so now as the series drags on, I've lost any motivation to watch it again. Same with a few other shows. I gave up early on with Dragonball GT as bad as it was.
  10. The thing is though. Mankind has never been able to discard things such as money, race and religion. I'm not sure we'll ever be rid of those things. Maybe for some people that are intelligent enough. But greed and religious bigotry will always be apart of humanity.

    Random.

  12. He looked cool. But no, I wouldn't care to see him again.
  13. It's not for me, therefor I'm passing this up. Reason being, I don't like CGI based anime. It looks terrible.
  14. Okay. I know this sounds silly. But according to Sean Barker. Werewolves are zoanoids. From what Sean saw on the news and what he talked to Mizuki about. So does this mean that certain zoanoids are allergic to silver according to the myths associated with his comment in the Guyver 2: Dark Hero?
  15. So when it comes to defense against a zoanoid or zoanoids. What kind of weaponry would be most useful against a zoanoid for someone that is human? So, I'm sure shot guns and small arms is out of the question. Something that uses armor piercing rounds?
  16. Does anyone think that the Guyver is way too over powered? I do. Maybe not the user seeing as the user has to know how to use it or unlock certain abilities. But once the user transcends and somehow get's a gigantic and mastered Exceed mode, well....they've hit god mode.

    Arlen Crane

Did anyone think Arlen Crane was one of the most interesting Zoanoid / Guyver other than Aptom? I honestly think that he decided to activate the damaged unit to either mutiny and take over Cronos or just preserve his career. Was it just me or did the zoalord heavily imply that something very bad would happen to him if he didn't capture Sean?
  18. Congrats! What kind of car did you get?
  19. Kind of reminds me of Doom seeing as it takes place on Mars.
  20. How do you normally play a video game? Easy, Normal or Hard? I start out by playing Normal most of the time. But if the game proves to be too hard for me starting out I start at Easy mode and go from there. I see Easy more or less as a practice mode to show you the ropes. Than as I get better and know how things work and how the enemy NPC's work. Than I can better anticipate things and play better, than I move up in difficulty as I improve.
  21. So, I'm going over G2:Dark Hero piece by piece. He's constantly nagging at Corey's head over things he already knows and he's pissing her off in the process. Sean has nothing to lose, so I don't know why he keeps playing stupid and asking for intel in which he already knows about from the first film. It almost seems as though the screen writers had no idea what kind of conversation Sean and Corey should have. What is silly is that he keeps pushing Corey over dumb questions about zoanoid skeletons and even more questions as of why her crew is secret about it and they have given him good reasons why they don't talk about it. They honestly don't know what they're looking at, yet he persists. It's almost as though the second film is settling on the fact that Sean is lacking in the common sense department. Instead of answers, Corey threatens to kick him out of the camp. Couldn't Sean just look around for more answers than ask for someone who knows a lot less than he does? For example, Corey has no clue that Chrono funds the dig. She has no idea what Zoanoids are until the end of the movie, and she probably knows even less on what a G Unit is. So.....Why is Sean testing her? If anything, he's attracting the wrong kind of attention.
  22. In the second movie. Do you think Sean was living off of the criminals he killed? You know, killing them and taking their stolen money for the need to eat and pay rent? I think, maybe he was using their blood money to get by in society...or for sure. He didn't have a job. So perhaps he made a living off of being a vigilante. That would make more sense taking down a person who robbed a bank, kicking 8 shades of crap out of them and than taking what they stole for yourself.
  23. It really does... remind me of The Secret of NIMH.
  24. I didn't know this. But he died right after he played in the 1991 film from open heart surgery at the age of 54. He was probably the only great actor in that film other than Mark Hamil. I will say despite some of the film's failures. David did play a good version of Richard Guyot in the movie although he was actually supposed to be portraying Fulton Barcas.
  25. Literally. I rewatched Guyver(1991) and he comes off like a hot head at the beginning of the movie. He's got a short fuse and he's a bit immature. He's learning some form of martial arts and he literally can't spar. He's easily distracted, and often he's told to pay attention. So this Asian guy knocks him in the nose. Not to be a jerk, but to get his attention. Sean falls, down yells that he wasn't ready. Well, when you're in a real fight, you have to have an open mind that your opponent isn't going to give you the time of day. That's what Sean didn't get at the time. So, Sean...being a dick. Assaults the Asian guy only later for his teacher to tell him that he won't learn anything if he keeps relying on his emotions....seeing as Sean is very sensitive. Later his bike quits working and a gang member....probably just being nice was wanting to help him. What does Sean do? He gets really rude and picks a fight with the guy only for the guy to call out his buddies and start beating the drenn out of him. In coincidence, the Asian guy is there that Sean assaulted, who happily finishes what Sean starts only for Sean to accidentally become a Guyver, who than puts them all in the hospital. Did anyone think Sean was kind of a hot headed jerk at the beginning of the film?
