Hi Ryuki here are the questions I have for the Japanese fan. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How do Japanese society view Kamen Rider?? Are there any older Japanese fans of Kamen Rider? Are you aware that of overseas fans of Kamen Rider are having a big argument over the decreasing quality of Kamen Rider shows? In the opinions of old school overseas fans, the older Kamen Ridersbefore Kamen Rider Den-O were better than the Riders after. They arethinking that Den-O's appearance has changed Kamen Rider completely andthe hero that most of us grew up with has become a shadow of its formerself. Many fans give up the fandom for good becos of Den-O What do you think about it? Related to the previous question, are some Japanese fans also having the same argument too? if Toei decides to replace Kamen Rider 1 with Momotaros as the icon of Kamen Rider, how do you or your fellows fans react? If you have friends in Japan who also like Kamen Rider ask them these questions.

new update on ANT This time with the mask and helmet

Really? Thanks.... maybe I will drop durendal a PM later. I think adding Japanese opinion to the debate would be most ideal becos so far, it's the overseas fans that I have been seeing having this squabble. I wonder if the Japanese fans are having such conversations or are they having the same fandom wars as hot as ours? but the "right" questions will be coming...
-
Well Ryuki I think it would be nice to know what do Japanese think of Kamen Rider and are they aware of the current debate over the new and old Riders? So I think go ahead.
-
Like for example?

ANT is like a Micheal Bay Transformers as his body is like full of nanobots that can do what Micheal Bay Transformers do best. ANT might not be fast but pound for pound he can defeat many opponents that most new gen riders will fail to do so. As for speed dun worry. ANT during his battles with the Prey has absorbed the weapons and abilities of his fallen foes. Like say ANT's Arm cannon is in fact the arm cannon of the prey infected Combat Robot that attacked in Ep1. And also ANT's legs can change into a form that has wheels and these too are from another opponent in an earlier episode. Spectre has a lot of problems dealing with ANT's weapons is becos there are too many to list!

Check it out my latest development on my Jackie Chan 3d model. But if anyone knows what kinds of equipment they use in photography or film pls contact me cause I want to know how they light things.

Here's ANT's concept. The helmet I haven;t got much of any idea yet

Hmm I think to help you out, I think you can look into normal things in a person's life that if anything goes wrong the person will be mentally in a bad shape. The host that the Squid Psychosian or any other psychosian should possess that factor that made them succumb to psychological trauma or stress. the host of the squid might be an amateur artist for example who is pretty mentally stressed becos he's not drawing up to standards of the industry and then the Squid Psychosian continued to pump bad thoughts of self pity into him. For example.
-
Hmm I think the squid psychosian made its host have bad desires?

True but both sides have not been giving in I admit. Basically some of us old school fans are just well telling the truth and the new school fans are not accepting the truth indeed. I am all for change just to tell ya guys. I am a G1 fan of Transformers but I admit that after Micheal Bay's version came along, I admit that the change is well acceptable. Becos the new Transformers seem more realistic in a real world lighting scenario which I as a CG artist grapple with very assignment.

I think we have to be thankful that for now Machines are under our control but in the future I dunno.
-
I see Anyway, I think the intelligence of machines will get smarter with each generation. But I now question whether is it the intelligence of the machines we should be wary about or is it the abilities of the machines that we should be worried about? A machine can have the intelligence of a regular lifeform like say the IQ of a bacteria but with the right set of abilities, it could have the ability to cause enormous damage.

Hopefully......
-
Well go ahead. It's good to know what do the locals think.

Wow indeed fast forward 20 years, human footballers will be history! This is sick! Anyway, I think becos robots will render some humans obsolete, then it is possible that we might see the overpopulation and the wars for resources become worse.
-
The better way? hmm maybe it will save itself. ha ha getting a little philosophical, are we? The only way to bring this debate to an end is perhaps to see if anyone here has a friend who speaks Japanese or lives in Japan. I think Kamen Rider itself has succumbed to some cultural changes in Japan today. Like say the preference for girly men for example.
-
That only time will tell my friend. I still pray that W can reboot this franchise back on its feet. Tiga on the other hand is not so sure. He thinks that Toku will be destroyed by the very people who created it.
-
Yeah V3 was in The Next. The only thing that spoilt the stuff of the deviation into J-horror which I dun understand why the negative reaction? either way until someone who can speak or understand Japanese could converse with a fan living in Japan to talk to us about this issue. This argument will be just throwing money into the sea, making no progress or signs of ending.

Well Einstein was refering to the nuclear bombs. But anyway, I just got some insight into machines turning against us in the process of fic writing. Actually it doesn't take a machine that passes the Turing test with flying colors to be a threat to humanity. More frightening is the either deliberate design or machines even with the intelligence of a virus to get an error to cause enormous damage. But so far all such examples have been in fiction and none has happened yet. But Dr Lenning's quote seem to make some sense. "there have always been ghosts in the machine, random segments of code that group together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity and even the nature of what we might call the soul............When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness? When does difference engine become the search for truth? When does a personality simulation become a bitter mote of a soul?"

The First and the Next were not very well received from what I heard though. As for me, it was a refreshing change from Den-O. But anyway, I dunno whehter the new gen fans being exposed to Den-O will like the old gen or they will just say that they are old geezers, the same term they use to insult us old school fans.
-
Oh yes regarding our rival Riders they will appear only in the second visits to our worlds. But instead of calling them Toei Riders, we call them Dark Riders so They will be having a different color to their suits or it will be their dark incarnations that our Riders will be facing instead. Example.... Kuuga- Dark Kuuga Agito- Dark Agito Ryuki- Ryuuga Faiz- Dark Faiz Blade- Green Eyed Blade/Navy Joker Hibiki- Black Hibiki Kabuto- Dark Kabuto Den-O- Nega O Kiva- Dark Kiva

ok thanks.

True actually the actors being girly matters least to me. The bigger problems I have is the executing of the story and script. But how to describe this.... hmm<br><br>Is it the scenery? The atmosphere and setting? Something is just missing? Or it touches less on the human heart.<br>
