Here are the changes ive made to the front posts.

This one is by RIDERWILL from Japan Hero Access Perhaps we need to live with the fact Toei deals mainly with the modern Japanese audience today. Unlike their counterparts in the 70s or 80s, the new Japanese generation seems to lack confidence and they just want to separate themselves from other people. I have read a recent news that it is now becoming popular that the Japanese take their lunch boxes to toilet to enjoy the privacy there. Probably, that is why Ryotaro in Den O appeals more to the modern generation than the older more hot-blooded heroic type characters. So in Japan there is no room for the heroic type character anymore? That's sad.

Hey Toku Warrior I just wanna know which design is best for ANT.... Which looks cool to you? http://www.4shared.com/file/123943298/acf4...thumbnails.html

Why not put it on Deviantart? It's got a good copyright protection

No no It's my fault. I didn't understand the name subject on this issue so I went offsubject while find information on another firefox window on this before I comment.

I am really sorry if I said anything wrong Ryuki. T_T Toei has completely shattered our faith that that could bring back the Kamen Rider[before hibiki] we knew and love. Anyway if the Kamen Rider shows ain't meant to be Kamen Rider, then why do they call it Kamen Rider? or put the 仮面ライダ on it. I really question if they deserve this title 仮面ライダ at all.

Whoa Whoa... wait hold it there cool down. I am looking thru at what you just said, I am watching the older series and new series. It's better to do more research before saying things. That's why I didn't go with the title issue you mentioned becos I dunno about that until I look into the matter intensively If I have I said anything wrong earlier then I am very sorry. Ok I have looked thru the title slates of the old riders and the modern ones. Indeed I did discover that the Showa Riders did not have the title of "Masked Rider". Kuuga [Heisei] did not have the title. It only started with Agito, then did the Masked Rider title came in. However as far as I know having watched most of them from start to finish. I can see that the "Masked Rider" brought the Kamen Rider series more variety in motifs and broke new ground. But whether this has caused a change in attitude is a big ?. But having enjoyed Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, and loathing Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, I would say the "Masked Rider" had done something to the series. You did mentioned a good point, Ryuki. Currently it would seem like the "仮面ライダ" title and the "Masked Rider" title are fighting some silent battle for the spotlight. "仮面ライダ"= The old ideas but with humanity and heart VS "Masked Rider"= The new ideas and comedy Please forgive me.

A better example is Batman I think. If Batman was light hearted, it would be Batman anymore wouldn't it. Batman and Kamen Rider actually are quite similar, they both lost something to injustice.

The X-factor that makes Kamen Rider Kamen Rider is more than a scarf. It's what inside the characters that attracts fans in the first place. Like transformers; They are Transforming humanoid robots warring with among themselves and humans. But deep down inside there is part of them that connects with us. Transformers and us ain't much different from us. For Kamen Rider: On the outside it's a masked bike riding hero with a scarf. But deep down, he's a man who lost something to injustice and doesn't want to see others suffer the same.

Whatathink of our catchy national Day songs?

Ha ha... or gets lots of anti-fungal spray.... I think Spectres and my Rider's Kaijin are the most despicable as they infect organisms and machines. Thus they attack all of a sudden without any warning, leaving their prey unprepared.
-
Oh but we can include this in our Decade fanfic to show the villains planning something but in the 9 world arc this will be pretty infrequent. Sorta like in Kamen Rider Black, they often switch to the Golgom Empire side with the villains chatting and planning their next move.
-
err try not to intro the new Riders.. just our 9 ones...

This should add a bit of humor and seriousness to Daishocker. General Jark: We have another problem. * General Jark shows a security video of a Dai Shocker personnel suddenly having a epileptic fit. Ambassador Hell: What's with this personnel? General Jark: wait a min.. * The video shows the Dai Shocker Personnel bursting into a Mould. Ambassador Hell: What the? General Jark: That personnel just came back from Kero's World with Kuuga. We are planning to lock down the Kaijin Research Facility under quarantine but other facilities seem to be having signs of Mould infestation too. Ambassador Hell: Ok get our Hazmat personnel to round up our infected personnel and..... remove them quietly.... And put up more stringent regulations and tighter quarantine measures. I dun want Daishocker to become a Super Mario Land full of Mushrooms! General Jark: At once! But however we have a new problem. Ambassador Hell inserts a coin into a vending machine. Ambassador Hell: We fix these problems as they come. The Mould and Necrophite infestation has to be brought under control. But the vending machine is not responding to Ambassador Hell's commands. He's getting infuriated. General Jark: Let me try General Jark kicks the vending machine. Suddenly the machine and then a transforming sound is heard. And the vending Machine transforms into a four legged machine with a large cannon on it's back. Ambassador Hell: What in King Dark's mighty name is going on with this machine? General Jark: I was about to tell you.... The Prey has infected our machines against us. The Vending Machine Prey charges his beam cannon. And a bright light floods the scene

Daishocker can just call back the guy who has been hunting Kamen Rider Magnus to go and reassign him to destroy Magnus world again after the evil version of Ryuki is destroyed.
-
Here's what I think. Ok, Basically all of our main fanfic Riders have been captured and imprisoned by Daishocker. Daishocker managed to build prisons for each one to interrogate them and extract their powers for their use. However some of our Riders's powers are not easy to extract thus the long time it takes. Each Rider have its own personal interrogator who will torture them and more. They can be monsters or human in Daishocker. Whatever they are they can use our Rider powers depending whether they can extract them. ANT's one will not be able to use ANT's powers since ANT is the one who broke our Riders out of prison. All of us will have to come up with how our Rider Power's work so to see whether Daishocker can extract them. If not then it should work fine.
-
to all in the Decade collaboration fanfic, do note that you have to come up with a fanmade Daishocker villain that will invade our Rider worlds on the second round visit.

The homophobic in me sings the song: "When a Man loves.... another man....." becos W is two guys uniting into one. How far has Kamen Rider fallen will just have to wait and see.
-
I noticed... so I think the title has no relation with the attitude of Toei towards the Rider franchise.
-
Hmmm but W also had the Masked Rider on the title.... I haven't thought about this issue. But either way, a change in attitude to the Show could spell disaster.
-
Yes perhaps to market to overseas? but that doesn't mean that the attitude could have changed so drastically.
-
Yes... I just came back from Kamen Rider Black. It's still called Kamen Rider. The name is not the matter, it's what it symbolises.
-
It's Kamen Rider as long as it's made by Japanese. They called it Kamen Rider. Masked Rider is just an english translation on their title plate. Perhaps to market to overseas. But ever since Saban's abomination of Masked Rider, Masked Rider has become like a "taboo" word. examples from their promos
-
Well yeah.... I should have made an audio entry today... but I think I don't have a topic to talk about except about Kamen Rider and what's wrong with it... And yes, it's safe as well. Because it's laws are pretty strict. There are two sides to the coin. On one side, the strict laws allow this place to prosper as a safe country to live in. Which country in the world can you name where the criminal fear the policemen like Batman or the streets do not have a presence of a mafia or Yakuza or something. The political climate is pretty clean and there are very few corruptions in the government side. The other side of the coin is that somethings are not very accepted here like homosexuality. Gay sex is a crime here... from what I know. But also too many rules can dampen creativity a bit but however things are changing recently. Dun forget Lucasfilms have personnel here.
-
Oh Glad ya asked. Singapore has one of the most stable political climates in Asia. I think even American political climates aren't that stable right? I mean so far, Singapore takes corruption very severely.
