I don't know of other people's motivations and I have not written anything in a very long time. I prefer to use canon characters as it means less work for me! If I ever decided to write a fanfic in cronos, I think it may be because it seems like a safety net. we have already seen a lot of the organisation of cronos so we can easily predict what the environment is going to look like and what the general behaviour of the secondary characters is going to be. situations are easy to set up and the day to day is already pretty much provided. there is a large potential for relationships between comrades and crossovers between scientists, female and male. relationships are easy to fabricate without having to provide too much backstory. cronos provides a good, easy foundation for a fanfic writer. I am no writer to be honest. I am sure my method of writing is irksome to people who write more often and have studied a lot of grammar and language rules, but I like to play with situations nonetheless. I always like to see something new and interesting. something playful. but there is so many writings that are truly well written, some great writers out there, it's just that their actual plot is boring as hell. but it's been a while since I read any so i can't really name any specifics. uh... what's my point? ah yes, it's that the most of the boring ones i have read is when it's yet ANOTHER new character i don't care about, being turned into a guyver in a manner i don't care about. then meeting other people I don't care about. it's all personal. it's all vanity. it's that persons way of taking control of their story and making it about them. they live the character instead of crafting a story. it's roleplaying really. and this is ok. people can roleplay. but don't expect other people to enjoy vain roleplaying. unless they are roleplaying alongside you.

Hi Lost Unit, it's been a while, nice to see you! we were right near the end, you typesetted the second page of the interview with takaya sensei. I typesetted the third page and then durendal has recently translated the following pages with the max factory figures. I haven't typesetted those, I was going to get around to it but if you do it then it leaves me free to do other things

I was wondering to myself... "what is this prometheus they are talking about? " I looked at some images and i couldn't really work anything, then i saw teh first trailer, I thought "hmm, ridley scott, certainly my fav director, having made my favourite film of all time, alien" then i saw the snapshots that looked SIMILAR to alien.. i thought, "what's going on here..." then i saw the space jockey. in such a long time that i cannot count, I have not jumped forward from where I am sitting and exclaimed "OH MY GOD!" until today. there are no words to describe what this means to me. I need to take some time to digest this. thanks for the trailers btw. you gave me something great.

well you certainly don't have to! I do think that there are many fans who are perfectionists and collectors and even though this is not a physical copy of the book, it would give a sense of 'completion' to have it all in english. but since it is not information that we would deem as important then a very quick and rough translation could be fine. but that is up to you. I would prefer to have it all, I personally think the publisher information is quite important, but that's just me.

hey guys, my PSN name is tremault finally got one. playing uncharted 2 (because the first one is overkill with enemies) I'll try and add you guys, but i use the same screen for my PC and my consoles so that's gonna be awkward.

I remember , I'm pretty certain the bio-fighter collection was produced before the tv series was announced.

there's been a petition for a while about guyver manga in english. not too many signatures. i think a mail campaign would be more effective. people can copy and paste a pre-penned message and send from their personal email address, no need to sign up to a forum or anything like that, more personal too.

it seems odd that the ratings have been so bad for this series so far. I don't really understand why but the ratings are around 3% rather than previous series initial ratings which have generally been around 6% anyhow, I have seen episode 2 so I know a little bit more about it. up to now the mecha have seemed somehow different from what we have seen in the past. I think the presentation of the red guy as a big robot in the first episode might be seen as discouraging? maybe it suggests that there is no gattai robo? I doubt that actually, but i dunno. just wondering if there is any reason why it's not popular. I mean, we all seem to have received it very well.

that seems kinda creepy to me actually. even if it was a girl who took it, it['s still very unhygienic.

perhaps those who are interested in that particular figure, could work on an e mail campaign? I'm sure if everyone who wants one, emailed max factory, they may see the demand and put it into production.

I thought you have already uploaded an image by this stage? did you forget how to do it, or did you never did it, or is there an issue with the uploading? well normally, it puts the image tag in first [[image:piccy.jpg|thumb|200px]] then clicks on the link and the uploading is available. edit: but just checked it, seems the uploading controls are absent. will investigate. edit2: for the life of me, can't figure out why, but file uploads was disabled in the settings file. I certainly never disabled it so that's a bit of a pain. well it's fixed now anyhow.

oh wow, has it stopped working? I wonder what occurred? I'll have to look into this straight away. edit: I don't understand it, the only thing I could see is that one of the letters had changed capitalisation in the URL. I guess it's possible that could have stopped it from working... damn. what a pain. I just hope there was no vandalism during that period that might have gone undetected. Edit 2 : in fact, I discovered that e can extend the amount of time that we can look into the history of the wiki editing. it seems we did indeed suffer from some vandalism. user accounts should have been disabled and only accessible from the forum so I am pretty pissed at that. I've deleted the three scummy pieces of drenn and all of their filth from our wiki. it is unfortunate that I cannot easily delete all traces of what they did. there remains a log of what I have deleted. I'll see if i can clear that. Edit 3 : totally cleaned. went into the server admin, used phpmyadmin to manually erase all database tables created by these vandals. feel much better now.

oh yeah. seeing it there like that, it is definitely my work. it's been a long time since i saw that version of my old site! such nostalgia! wow, that was even before i re-themed that site to be a fake cronos censored site. 'chronos' enemy - the guyver'. that was before i even had my own computer.

I watched episode 1 last night then. it's pretty interesting. kinda like dekaranger i thought. and 'let's morphin' is pretty funny. can't really comment about how good it is, since that is just one episode, but the mecha are pretty impressive. the way they are using the CGI is very different from past series and i think it works really well.

gobusters has already started. episode 2 aired on sunday just gone. I suspect there hasn't been much talk about it because tv-nihon hadn't released their fansub until last night. I don't know about the boukenger vs super sentai movie, but I generally don't watch the movies. I don't feel they are important to the continuity of the series.

that looks familiar. could that be mine? well you said you think you got it off my old site. so there is a chance it is my work. but i can't say for sure. I can't claim it since I can't really recall clearly, but that colouring and shading does look reminiscent of my ability roughly ten years ago. it does look more and more familiar as i look at it. the text is what really sticks out. that font and that colour.
