he he, it just seems that the chinese guys set a raw scan from some pace that is not available to anyone else or that we haven't found yet. they don't make it available so we are only able to see their scanlation at first. there is another place that will release a japanese scan at some point. just need to wait for that.

technically that will be the end of july won't it? darn. but oh, after a quick count, it appears we have 195 pages since our last tankoubon. that is enough pages to release a new tank. perhaps takaya sensei will be working on that during this month hiatus? shou is searching at night? he is going to have a hard job. we need to be careful not to be talking about games that have nothing to do with Japan, unless we are making comparisons or talking about how they may be influenced. evidence would suggest he is thinking of the biblical figure, but I would point out that while the japanese wikipedia entry for aporuon, does redirect to the abaddon page, the page clearly references the inferred link between aporo-n (apollo) and aporion (apollyon). my view is that takaya-sensei wants his character to be clearly associated with abaddon, BUT he wants to keep his greek references in tact.

I read this a while back, trying to ascertain if he was supposed to represent apollo or apollon. what i found was that in japanese wikipedia, the katakana for apollon or apollo is different to that used for apollon in guyver. also the kana and kanji for apollon is the same as used to describe abaddon. so it's not as simple as saying he is apollo or apollon unfortunately. I wish it were.

hey cannibal thanks for posting it, and great job with the wallpapers! I love what is going on in this chapter, it looks great to see them together there. that must be asou's house. that temple at the end looks interesting, but I have to say, comparing it to the pictures we have seen of the sleeping temple on silha... it doesn't look like it to me. could still be a red herring?

I actually I actually studied this the other day, can't remember why i was studying it but i found equivalent words for it. for exampe, 'ro-ruon' is 'roll on'. in the end i ascertained that it is most likely pronounced with a non extended 'O', emphasised 'L' and flat 'on'. so sort of like 'a pole on' but more like 'a doll on'.

I don't think we did. reason i say that is because i don't remember thinking that the light bits between his armour were white. so this is very cool we know what his colour is now !

just looking at relax point, there is news, this month we have 16 pages. it features shou talking with the group. those that are still with him of course. not sure if I'm reading this right, but it appears that shou and agito are not going to work together. and it seems apparent that the nature of apollon is expanded on some more?

yeah, well actually that wasn't a new thing for shippuuden. there is filler in lots of episodes I just think people weren't as aware of it until the really bad shippuuden episodes. for example, the fight with zabuza, the first one, the whole thing with the water shaped like dragons, that was filler crap. most of naruto's interactions with konohamaru was filler crap. all the material featuring shikamaru et al, was filler crap. up to now, I've turned 19 episodes into 11.

if he does, I think there's a good chance he would keep quiet about it. as he starred in the film, it would be bad for his image to admit that he reads scanlations because many people strongly believe it damages the author and publishers. in fact, crazy thought, it is entirely possible (maybe unlikely) that he is already on the forum and talked to us a couple of times. but we would never know.

actually, I was specifically thinking of you when i set this up. because you said to me a long time ago that you have trouble downloading them and also you made it clear that your screen is only a certain size. I had these things in mind. when you said black text on white is going to hurt your eyes, how does downloading change anything? the manga is always going to be black text on white paper. could you explain to me how it could be any different? I could see if i can set up some solution.

I didn't want to push it or seem impatient so I just left it. add to that, that i am generally pretty busy these days and when a thread doesn't get any replies, I forget about it completely. I never really knew my nana or grandad. my grandad died sometimes last year and my nana died about 2 weeks ago i think. the funny thing is, I don't care. it doesn't bother me. they never treated me as a grandson, so I never had the remotest feelings for them. maybe if the last time i saw them was more recent, it might have bothered me a little, but I haven't seen them for years.
