I do need to point out that Valkyria is western and so will look different. usually are drawn with more prominent chin and nose. asian females tend to look younger naturally anyhow due to their smooth jawline and complexion. it would be easy for val to look older yet be younger simply due to hte art style. but that is most certainly down to personal opinion. hey, I never said the mass doesn't somehow cause the twisting as we have already seen, there is a relationship between mass and acceleration. that's kinda what got me thinking in this area. quick note... I don't completely subscribe to the current ideas and theories, string theory etc. there are contenders, and they are too wishy washy for my liking. also, I did spot something recently on the news that suggested the universe is older than the scientists thought!!! I see no reason to believe that the fabric of space is something that cannot be reproduced from somewhere. after all, if mass can draw it inwards, then there could easily be something else that pumps it out. there are already hypothetical things like dark matter etc. what about anti matter? if mass causes gravity, then perhaps anti-mass causes anti-gravity? who knows? well google translate is actually an adaptive translation engine. a lot of the translations it gives are reliant upon people correcting it when it gets something wrong. so a lot of phrases that it provides can be quite good. on many occasions, when I have trouble with a particular expression, I throw it through Google translate to give me a boost and possible figure out some context. sometimes it works, sometimes i get garbage.

I often wondered why barcas considered her a worse threat than Guyver III. I suppose he said that because Agito was a member of Cronos for a while, but was not even close to inspector level. Valkyria was an inspector and evidently had access to some of the more restricted areas of Cronos and no doubt access to information of that level of restriction. But anyhow it was clear that Cronos knew who she was by the time she reached Narita airport.

to be fair, no. that would be a lazy guess when looking a the kanji separately. comparing to similar kanji combinations we would see that either kanji is often used alongside other kanji and compliment each other in a particular way. kyou often used as a prefix to describe something being done in a strengthened manner. a note here, authors can often be lazy or make mistakes when their field of expertise is not translating. example, in an article I have in a magazine, archanfel is introduced as 'aruka sulfur'. you could say I'm a little excessive in my investigations. durendal is better at translating things in context and colloquial terms etc. but when it comes to accuracy, I don't take things lightly, I study, and I study hard.

I honestly don't know where it came from. I don't know who's responsible for it. it's possible yoshiki takaya is responsible for the english name and could have given the name during some talks with one of the earliest english publishers. or it's possible it was derived from some common used like: ç¹æ®– hanshoku - breed/multiply 生殖 seishoku - reproduce (biological term) but we should also note non biological terms such as : 貨殖 kashoku - money making 学殖 gakushoku - scholarship plus, bio-boost is fairly accurate in terms of it's descriptiveness.

not quite. actually, there is no reference to 'bio' in the japanese phrase. "boost armoured" is probably the most closely fit translation. kyou - strongly shoku - augment soukou - armoured (strongly augment = boost. )

how does this look... when a person buys a book, they have full privileges to read that book. they can commit it to memory if they like and recall that book any time they wish. then after reading it they can sell it as second-hand. or they can gift it to another person. then that other person can read it. so as BBdude suggested, there is nothing wrong with re-selling a book. now, What Lindsay said is also important. sending these books to another person to do what they like with it, this is not reliable. if that other person sells the books that person makes a personal profit and that is perhaps not desirable by members of this site. even if that person is a member and a guyver fan. honestly, he's a really nice guy, really generous and friendly. but that's neither here nor there. also, it is ropey on ethical terms. the book never makes it to hte translator or to the person who bought it. in terms of ethics, I am thinking the following diagrams might help. lower cost 1 book bought -> book arrives at other persons house -> Book enters Japanese second-hand market -> 2 book bought -> book sent to recycling plant -> medium cost 3 book bought -> book sent to translator -> translation sent to you -> book becomes second-hand goods -> funding/prize for japan-legend and/or a potential new guyver fan -> higher cost 4 book bought -> book sent to translator -> book and translation sent to you -> book remains with you or later becomes second-hand goods -> what do you think are the resultant effects on sales of guyver manga in general and what do you think are the ethical concerns? I am thinking that the books entering the Japanese second-hand market and entering the western second-hand market would have different impact on the sales of the new copies of the book.

how about this:- I'm wondering if the people who say "I won't pay for something I can't read" would like another option. how about we ask a payment of £13.50 for the scanlations we produce and then as a bonus, we send you a free Japanese Guyver Manga that you can do whatever you want with. now this is interesting. I really want to see how people respond to that concept. is it really about the 'principle', or is actually about the money.
