I really enjoyed the music in the OVA series and the 2005 anime. The OVA series had a more fitting music, but I can't see the 2005 as simply a beautiful work of art, if a little out of place at times. As for Guyot, favorite line. "Your time is up Richard Guyot! Prepare to die." -Agito "What the HELL?!" -Guyot2 points

Yeah, what I enjoyed about the 2005 anime to the OVA. We got to see the Guyver face off against a Zoalord. That automatically made me like the 2005 version more. We got to see Richard Guyot fight, and he's a bad ass fighter and I loved how Richard was so cocky about being a zoalord. I loved his cocky comments to Murakami like ( quote- "Do you really think you can stand up to the real thing?!? Here, let me show the power of a true zoalord!" as he pumped several rounds of his gravity bullets into Murakami and when Murakami tried to do an energy attack after wards Guyot yelled "Insolence!!" and cut his arm off with a blast from his zoacrystal.-end quote) The funniest moment that Richard had in the anime was after he tried to kill everyone with his Gravity Crusher and when Barcas told him that Guyver 3 lived, the first words out of his mouth were in a comical rage 'What?!? That Little Bastard SURVIVED!?!?" What landed Richard Guyot as my favorite villain of Guyver and all time favorite anime villain. I know a lot about Richard Guyot and his attacks. I really enjoyed how he deploys his Quasi Star attack or as we all know "The Quasi Black Hole" that he slapped on Archenphel. I loved how cocky Richard was. He was not afraid of anyone. Richard really showed how we Americans can be at times. If we Americans want something, we pretty much take it. He was well defined in that aspect. He made a great political leader in Cronos and he was successful in completing a lot of his goals. Richard Guyot really was a do it yourself kind of guy. He placed a lot of faith in his god like powers. He didn't seem to like using zoanoids very much, he just saw them just as much useless as humans. He placed himself higher than most and he even held himself higher than Archenphel. Thats what I loved about him. He was well defined in the 2005 anime. I'm glad he's back in the manga. He's too stubborn to die. Those are some things that I loved about the anime. I liked it that we got to see Aptom eat the hyper zoanoid team 5 minus Thancrus who got cut in half by Guyver 3 from hiding in the ground. That was awesome. I really enjoyed how Sho was discovering at the beginning on how to use the Guyver unit. That was epic and I loved how Agito was more skilled with the unit than Sho was at the beginning. However, I loved how the 2005 anime played out.2 points

Too bad they never made a season 2 to the 2005 anime. That would have been bad ass. Too be sincerely honest. I think the Guyver is slowly gaining popularity in the real world among the younger generations. The 2005 has many good reviews. Nothing bad as far as I can see. I think more and more people will be looking at it as time goes by and than we'll see a reboot and possibly an established tv series with seasons full of filler episodes, like Bleach or Dragon Ball Z. I can see it happening. I'm totally positive.2 points

What about passive abilities? Powers that have no combat potential? I would say like Regen, or something to do with the suits protection against extreme heat? I just don't see how an orb would effect cellular regeneration. Its been here since the beginning, and im having a hard time believing that another base Guyver power will emerge so late in the show, especially once the gigantic showed up.2 points

Share with us powerful words. Poems or short prose or speech etc. I think for this thread, it needs to be accessible so think about if somebody could read it in less than 1-2 minutes. Also, for speeches etc in hte form of videos, try to keep it short I think 5 minutes might be ok but 10 minutes is pushing it. My first share :-1 point

Definately. If any of the zoanoids were depicted in real life, and accurate to size, we'd be freaked out, but Enzyme I and Enzyme II are probably some of the creepiest looking ones. Hell... I had a nightmare of one chasing me around with that acid leaking out of it's mouth...1 point

I defiantly prefer the new series for the added depth to character development - yes his Father did live there, Lisker got more lines,Team 5 lasted longer. All I really miss was the OAVs fights and Murakami's old look. Oh and Steve Blum ☺1 point

BFC Guyver looks OK, not really had a big play with it , but I think Figma will work better assuming it will be more dynamically poseable! a heads up to those buying these effects parts...none of the stage acts shown in the publicity shots ( the clear plastic arms and bases) come with the effect part itself, which sucks because it costs about £20 for 3 of them.... mine are all used up on other figures and I bought this for DBZ figuarts really, but I had to get the Guyver on there just to see!1 point

sorry to say this , but I think you have a purpose , it is very pocible that takaya not want to reveal it yet , I mean , how long it seemed guyver , and has about 30 years in the TIMP , have seen havilidades from gravity until the sound, guyver , but these orbs have not miss nothing , to be, a weapon, so you see it , you yegue halgo surprise us , think, guyver already gravity control , high frequency knife , sonic attacks, directed energy weapons , sensors , from movement , x -ray , telescopic vicion and bacicamente a spy base in his head, ficica increased strength, resistant armor, accelerated regeneration , virtual immortality , increased reflexes and reaction , in short, short or long range , melee or sniper attack as , multiple enemies or scurrying , stand have dominated the field of battle, so think a little, that would be the thing that these areas could do, we have what the guyver moment , not rule out the fact that they can have relationship with , head beam . but thinking that things can not do guyver , for me are these , 1 in its normal form that is not gigantic , teleport , or create a shield of energy, 2 turn , invisivle , or intangible, 3 teleportation , affect or stop time , go back in ,1 point

sure, I understand what you were saying, but my entire point was, if guyver 3 has red orbs and they are covered then it doesn't lead us to believe that they have an offensive use does it? I'm a bit uncomfortable about how you say, "yes, they are covered but not totally sealed off" as that is quite a strong assertion that is totally unsupported. the most natural assumption when not being able to see something is that it is not there. after all, that line of logic would be like saying "guyver one has 2 blades on each arm, the other one is just hidden". do you see what I'm saying? yes it is a possibility that he may have them and they7 may be hidden, but that is almost certainly a redundancy is it not? In any detailed renderings of those red orbs, they appear semi transparent and they have a red hue which strongly suggests using light in some way. being covered makes them next to useless so even then, it makes more sense to say they just aren't there. after all, if the guyver is such an advanced system, why waste energy on placing something that is going to be ineffective? of course we don't know for sure, the colour and the translucency could be completely irrelevant. the orbs may have nothing to do with the near light spectrum and the appearance may be 'just to look pretty'. To be honest though, that doesn't fit with guyver in my experience. Guyver has always followed some pretty sound logic. Who knows, they may have a specific use, and Guyver 3 may have a mechanism to 'uncover' some orbs that may be under a protective plate? I see what you're saying about collecting ambient particles, maybe like charged particles? ions? ambient radiation? I get that, how does a translucent coloured orb do that? I don't really know about collecting these kinds of atmospheric particles. my first thought would be some kind of magnetic assembly. I admit I have no ideas about that area and probably need to research it. I just see an orb of that configuration, like a lens. and a lens is usually used for EM particles travelling in a straight line. hence my concern about it being covered.1 point

If we're talking in broad strokes, then has Agito ever been truly 'good'? It just so happened that helping Sho served his best interest, that's all. Now the tables have turned, we see the 'real' Agito?1 point
