I know. I loved this series. It certainly didn't disappoint me. I waited for it to finish before watching the rest of it and I just did a binge watching of eps.16-25 last night until 8 AM. I loved it though I was always hoping the Setsuna would have gone into a relationship with Marina. Oh well.

Was it me or does the 0 Gundam look a lot like the RX 78-2 model as I think its design was higly based off of it?

Plus I feel sorry for Lyle (new Lockon) as

he lost the girl he loved.

All-n-all a good series and now I can't wait for the movie to be released next year. My guess is that

Ribbons

somehow survived and is gonna make one final comeback.

The O Gundam most certainly was based after the RX-78 model ( the later paint job being that of the most famous of the line the RX-78-2), being the "First Mobile Suit equipped with a GN Drive", thus being the "First Gundam"... which naturally, is usually what the first Gundam series is referred to as. Although there are some slight differences in the head design.

I though 00 was ok for the most part. The first half was better imo, since Setsuna became so much HAX after he got 00 Raiser. Although Saji was a hell of a lot better in the second half. I am still kind of pissed that once again, Graham got shafted a bit... but at least we know he's alive.

I am glad that the Meisters survived though. Except for Tieria of course... but I wouldn't exactly count him out just yet... I don't think it'd be too hard for him to download himself in a new body or something.

Double-lujah was awesome once again... but ultimately wasted overall. They should have played up with him a bit more. Allelujah was my favorite Meister from season 1, and it's a shame he kind of got shafted in season 2. Mary getting her Mary Parfacy self back was a relief... although I think it would have been interesting if Soma has started to like Allelujah too ( which they did kind of hint at a bit)

Lyle/Lockon had a few good moments too... He was pretty well done overall... and finally getting the kill on Ali was great. It seemed like that guy was never going to die. The only one he didn't make absolutely hate him, was Allelujah... Although I still kind of wished Setsuna would have finished him off... He seemed to have the most against him.

Setsuna sadly didn't change too much... ( other than the obvious "change"), but seeing Exia at the end was pretty awesome.

Still, it's ending was way beter than what we got of Destiny... AND we still have a movie coming.

Should be fun.

I have to agree on some points about the meisters character development. The Alleluah/Halleluah was somewhat downplayed, their unified attitude in the last episode would have made a greater impact if they had put more emphasis on their relationship beforehand.

Graham didn't really have that much screen time. I felt like he's just an extra character, and not a supporting character.

Can't wait for the movie as well.

I thought the ending was pretty cool.I did like the whole Exia vs O Gundam thing. I too was a little bothered that Graham was more like a minor character. I lol'd that, that Patrick guy was still alive.

Gotta say I'm relieved that Saji and Louise were reunited. I don't usually fall for that but Louise was just so awesome in the last half of season 2. She like jumped to being my favorite character after I saw Nena finally die. I could not stop laughing at that.

Seeing Saachez die finally gave me some joy to see how badly Lyle wrecked him. I loved Lyle's last move against Revive.

Allelujah was my favorite character from season one too but I loved it how in season 2 they're like Hallelujah dead and gone then OO activates and there he is again being a badass.

Towards the end of the series I started to like Ribbons more. I thought he was a cool bad guy to have at the end of the series just because he was that much of a dick at times.

What I liked was ever since the end of season 1 you knew it was gonna be Ribbons vs Setsuna to save the world and they still made it really interesting. I'm glad the OO wasn't so broken that not even Ribbons could beat him with his fake GN drives.

Agreed. 00 is way better than Seed (hell, just about any Gundam series is better than Seed, even the crappy SD series). Only thing I liked about Seed for me was the Buster Gundam and even that wasn't able to get me to watch Seed. I only saw a few eps from Seed and hated it. It's like they're trying to turn Gundam into a super robot series and when Gundam wasn't meant to be. It's a real robot series. The only super robot-ish Gundam series that I liked was G Gundam. Still trying to search for translated versions of Beltorchika's Children though. No luck as of yet.

Definitely better than SEED. Can't wait for the movie.

Setsuna-I'm actually glad his personality hasn't changed, but his world view has. Originally he thought a lot like the Innovators (mankind would have to be forcefully prevented from waging war), but he learned the value of freedom and now fights for an era when people can live together in harmony. Really glad they minimalized his interactions with Maria Ismail (Why Maria, Ismail is a Middle Eastern name and Maria is Italian). I thought it was ridiculous how attached Relena Peacecraft was to Heero Yui considering how little they interacted. Obviously 00 Raiser would be overpowered, glad they had the final fight scene with Exia.

Lyle Dylandy (Lockon Stratos)-He really ended up being a bad ass, definitely had the most impressive fights without god hacks. His Gundam also had some of the coolest armaments.

(H)Allelujah-Glad he reawakened, but he never really shined in the second season still. He should be the best pilot in the show, but he continues to kamikaze and leave himself open to an attack whenever both personalities are fighting. GN Archer was kind of boring, didn't really contribute to any fights or improve Arios.

Tieria-His identity crisis didn't last long. He was less important to the plot this season, so the fact that he doesn't have a body doesn't really matter. HE had some good fight scenes, but Seravee/Seraphim had a lot more potential.

Louise-I think her and Saji making up was oversimplified, they never really talked it out

Saji-He was a grade A bitch in the beginning but it was completely justified and he was never just whiny. He completely changed after he led A-LAWS to the Catalon base and killed the refugees. Usually, characters need to make the same mistake several times to figure out what's wrong in anime to the point that we have to assume they are completely mentally inept, but Saji caught on at a realistically human point. He forgot at some times, but realized what he was doing before he repeated his mistake also.

Graham Aker-Why did they bother with the Mr. Bushido crap? I think it was to parallel the Char/Zechs Marquise, rival with a fake name tradition. Notice that Graham Aker is now in the exact same role as Zechs at the end of Gundam Wing before the movie. That's why he's still alive, and that's why his mask was off in the last scene.

Sumeragi Lee Noriega-So she uses men, drinks to forget her past, and continues as captain of Ptolemy II. I feel like she should have had more interactions with the pilots.

Lasse-This guy just won't die. I respect that, but he doesn't really contribute to the plot.

Feldt-Some nice screen time, didn't really develop as a character or interact with the main cast much this season.

Hooray for aliens from Jupiter in the upcoming movie. Gundam in its long history has never actually done alien races. They were hinted at in Gundam SEED with the whale with wings fossil and there were colonies on Mars in Gundam SEED Destiny Astray Delta (I know, it's long). Should be cool.

I think if alien races came into gundam it would be dumb. It wouldn't be as good. I expect the movie to be something like Endless Waltz. Like all the Gundams are upgraded in the movie and they act like that happened in the last part of 00. Graham's nickname was just kind of thrown in there and it does make sense why they would call him that because he would only want 1 on 1 fights. I just didn't like it how they were trying to make him too samurai-ish. Like he wore a kimono overtop of his uniform, his gundam, and the short katana he had in his cockpit after setsuna beat him. Technically that would be right because WW2 pilots in Japan would carry katan's in their cockpits but wasn't Graham from the Americas?

Yes, I saw Jupiter and four green lights. Then it said "The childhood of mankind shall end" or something to that effect. But who's to say that there might be some other human faction residing in Jupiter instead of aliens?

I don't think you understand how far away Jupiter is: 591 million km

Earth's diameter is: 40,075.02 km

That's more than 14747 times around the earth!

I don't know if a human being could get that far in a single life time. Even if you were to make one revolution around the earth in a single day, it would take over 40 years to do so. Since the 00 calendar is the same as ours, then it's plausible considering it's set in 2300s, but we have a long way to go then in terms of space travel.

You're forgetting that their tech is more advanced than ours so they could get to Jupiter much quicker than we can. Heck, in Zeta Gundam they went to Jupiter for mining and guess what? No aliens there and they made trips there on more than one occasion. And yeah I know that 00 and Zeta take place in different time lines/universes. But it appears that the 00 tech is more advanced than most of the Zeta Gundam tech, and if characters from Zeta Gundam can make it to Jupiter then I'm pretty certain that the 00 characters could make it to Jupiter as well.

But it seemed that it occurred to me that there are no space colonies in 00. Unless I missed something, Building Space colonies would seem require terraforming technology.

I don't believe it to be a space colony near Jupiter but a space station instead.

As for traveling to Jupiter, it would make much more sense that their ships had the capability to do it within like a week or so instead of years because we even shoot space probes out to Jupiter.
