  • I love the eyes. I dunno. I get so excited about new spidery designs cause the ol red and blue is sooooooooo old! I lived the iron spider look and i even liked the first amazing spider man movies suit

  • New clip! And this shows a bit more of spideys fun nature. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=112975

So far as I know, that's King Lizard, who grew out of a severed arm of the original Lizard. He was eventually killed by the Lizard after the latter had gone feral.

The best part there, in my opinion, is that isn't cg there.  Electro's makeup is battery operated, and actually lights up!  To think, the actor has a mild live current running over his skin.  I wonder if he shocked anyone on set?

amazing stuff so far, Love how the spidey suit looks now, it is a lot more accurate to Ditko's design than raimi, but people will still complain no matter how hard you try to be fateful while keeping it fresh.

I agree.  The only part of the Amazing suit I didn't like was the boots; as in how the vertical lines met the horizontal lines.  They just seemed to clash a little.  The rest of the suit was just incredibly sleek and spindly.  But I guess there were too many complaints.  Hopefully they'll transition to the new suit in a good way.  We'll see

lol at spidey pic. it's great to have him back, and Spidey's self monologues are sorely missed.

judging from what I can see from those pictures I'm guessing that "Green Goblin" we see in the poster may actually be the proto Goblin but I could be wrong, the image is to blurry to make out a decent shape and see if it is a costume or just a guy in a glider, I'm hoping they step it up in this sequel and give plenty of screen time to electro who I hope will be the main villain, don't really care much about Rhyno.

Some of the pics kind of make me wary, as if this movie might be cheezy.  But I love the new look of Electro.

One thing I really liked about the first movie was that it was set up to be mostly plausible.  Peter started out just going out in a hoodie, then added a mask, added glasses to the mask, then finally caved and built a full suit.  Like Kick ass, I hope these baddies are suiting up with what they can afford, and not just what Sony can afford.

Does anyone think this new Rhino is a transformer suit?

Ok, so i saw the movie last night, loved it!! The humor of Spiderman totally made the movie for me! And of course iconic moments.

Movie is out over here, saw it with friends, and it is leaps and bounds better than previous spidey films, the first few minutes Garfield convinced me that he is THE definite spider-man, the relationship between Peter and Gwen had perfect chemistry and the action was Amazing, no pun intended, it is by no means perfect, it still suffers from the convenient circumstances in order to advance the plot but from what it lacks in a well structured story it makes up for in real 3 dimensional characters and action, in a world where every movie just wants to be "GRIM DARK" just because it is cool TAS 2 is colorful, fun superhero action, with just a simple on the nose message without being preachy "even tho things don't always go out the way you want and will fail at times you should do your best to stay strong and keep moving forward"  which is what I think spidey is all about, not just about the "great power comes great responsibility" thing. This new spidey series to me is a reverse Batman, where Bat's series is all about the villains, spidey is all about the hero and how he deals with the things that he faces and the consequences of his actions. If you are an action fan go watch it, if you like comedy go watch it, if you like romance go watch it and most importantly, if you are a spider-man fan then go watch it, it is worth the watch.

It does make me mad tho that there is so much undeserved and illogical hate for this movie, but hey everybody has their own opinions, sure the movie has it's flaws but they are not Man of steel obvious (and I love that movie too) and they are not so bad that it completely makes you want to quit loving something you like and "brake you inside" like it almost did a reviewer I constantly watch named Moviebob, but I will let you guys decide if you like the movie or think it is awful, a movie is good if you enjoy it and that in the end it's whats important.
