Actually I would like it if you did, Amika, since that might clear up some translation difficulties I encountered.

May I ask what in particular? It's somewhat bothering me that you mentioned you have encountered translation difficulties.

It's when Natsuki says "I know that's Shizu's in here with us" when she isn't - she is outside, coordinating the Libertus. I didn't get what she was saying. Also how it would be pertinent to the Libertus guarding them from something outside.

I hope Guyot is the last bad guy to fall he is so well written, he's the guy you love to hate.

Looks like his plan is to force Sho to do something by threatening Tetsuo and Mizuki's life. Maybe relinquish the Gigantic to Valkyria.

It's when Natsuki says "I know that's Shizu's in here with us" when she isn't - she is outside, coordinating the Libertus. I didn't get what she was saying. Also how it would be pertinent to the Libertus guarding them from something outside.

Natsuki refers to the mansion as anything inside the compound, as Shizu and the Libertus although not technically inside the mansion, is still in the vicinity of the mansion. The "outside" they were referring to was beyond the gates of the mansion, which Guyot came crashing in from. I hope that this clears up everything for you.

Well, to be honest I don't really understand what she's saying.

"I know Shizu's in here, but isn't it strange?"

(What is strange, is that the Libertus seem to be protecting them rather than containing them).

I don't get what she is trying to imply. Why would them be guarding them be strange because Shizu's in there with them?

I am not sure it's the translation... maybe it's a Japanese language idiosyncracy?

if i may,

シズさんに屋敷の中にいろって言われたけど

I believe that dialogue is saying something along the lines of "although the mansion is currently shizu san's"

but i don't know , it's a confusing sentence for my level of japanese.

*sigh* I don't get why this is difficult to understand.

To rephrase what Natsuki said, "Even if you say that Shizu-san is in the mansion, don't you find it strange that the libertus acts like they are on getting ready for an ambush instead of keeping us inside?"

Their observation here is that instead of viewing the Libertus as keeping them from running away, it seems like they are on guard from something that might come from outside the compound. They are lumping Shizu and the Libertus together. The location of Shizu is irrelevant, they are pertaining to the movements of the Libertus. And who controls the Libertus but Shizu?

Please see notes below if you want to disect the sentence.

シズさんに屋敷の中にいろって言われたけど

Shizu-san ni Yashiki no naka ni irutte iwaretakedo

Shizu-san is mansion's inside is exists said but - "Yashiki no naka" is inside the mansion, irutte is present, iwaretakedo is "you said it but". Rearrange these and you get the above. One language trait that the Japanese as well as other East Asian countries have is the definition through context.

Thank you, Durendal... the problem is innate, then, because I still don't get it.

i didn't see an issue with it, I only offered my own idea of what it said to possibly shed some light but i wasn't sure on what needed to be clarified.

I don't believe there was an emphasis on the first part of what natsuki said. so I didn't see it as relevant.

it could just be a way of saying " concerning the fact that shizu is here," it seems to be a preposition and as such not really that important. not really intending to say anything in particular.

yeah you're right, we ought to expect to see something around now-ish.
