jerrygoodman Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Not much news at the moment, so here's a pic: Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 who are the others? I know captain america, I know ironman, I know thor, I know hulk, I know shaftnick fury, but what about those others? Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 The guy with the bow and arrows is Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. And the redhead is Natalia Romanova, aka the Black Widow. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 oh ok I don't know who they are! but i'm sure they'll be introduced in the movie. Quote
Salkafar Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 They look absurdly inadequate to their roles. Someone get that casting director on the phone and ask him what kind of crack he's smoking. Quote
odin Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 as long as they can act their roles well I don't mind, Scarlett did a good job as Black widow in iron man 2, well to me at least. Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 I say give 'em a chance. We've still got a long way to go 'til the movie comes out. Quote
Salkafar Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Both Hawkeye and the Widow are off-the-scale badass in the comics. And of the many things you can call the Чёрная вдова - beautiful, powerful, professional, seductive, deadly - 'cute' is not one. These people look like Tori and Kari. I meant that as a joke, but gawd, Tori actually looks better than that poor sap who plays the Marksman. To say nothing of Kari, who, unfortunately in this case, still is as cute as a button. Quote
durendal Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 We really can't say much about Hawkeye and Widow at this point as we haven't really seen them in full action. For Hawkeye, it was only a cameo role in Thor so we basically didn't see anything significant about him. As for Black Widow, she was hot in Iron Man 2. Hotness is already one of her deadliest arsenal. And I wouldn't exactly call Hawkeye "off-the-scale badass". he got killed twice. First by a human bomb and second by wishing him out of existence. Sure, he was a candidate as Cap's replacement, but I just can't take him seriously, especially his sporadic emotional outburst. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) i know now. I remember that girl from ironman 2. i remember she could fight ok. what about the guy in ironman thor? was it the army guy who fought him when he was going for mjolnir? Edited September 12, 2011 by Ryuki fixing my error Quote
durendal Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Are you referring to Hawkeye in Thor? He's the one who was aiming the arrow at thor drenched in rain when Thor was going for Mjolnir. Didn't even shoot the arrow. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 oh right! yesh i remember it. damn, I said ironman didn't i XD sorry i did mean to say thor, you figured that out already Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 If you don't like spoilers, don't read this link. If you do, well...don't say I didn't warn you: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Wolvie09/news/?a=46272 Quote
durendal Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Ah, all the evidences so far does point to this major villain. But really? Would be wonderful if he stands toe to toe with one of the heroes like they did in the comics. Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 If that happens, I guarantee that fanboy heads all over the world will EXPLODE! Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Already seen it odin, and I'd watch all over again Quote
odin Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 you already posted it?did not notice, it is awesome tho Quote
durendal Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I'm expecting great things from this movie. I hope this movie lives up to the expectation like how the Captain America movie lived up to my expectations. I mean, until now, I still feel awestruck every time I think of a weakling Steve covering a dud grenade. What do you guys think the Leviathan is? Perhaps some sort of mythical beast released by Loki to consume the world? Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Maybe it's the Midgard Serpent... Quote
jerrygoodman Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 (edited) http://nerdreactor.c...t-shoot-lasers/ It seems Agent Coulson has a sense of humor after all... http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/joshw24/news/?a=46438 ...and Smilin' Stan will make an appearance in the movie! Edited September 15, 2011 by jerrygoodman Quote
Salkafar Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Stan always gets a cameo. Oh, except in the X-Men flicks, I think... http://laughingsquid.com/every-stan-lee-cameo-in-marvel-comics-films/ Ah, only not in X-Men 2. Which is odd because he would have been a perfect fit in the 'frozen in time' scene in the museum. Quote
