I think this varies from person to person.  I've known a few who contracted the virus and felt fine.  They didn't feel any different with the only distinguishing difference is that they temporarily lost their sense of taste.  I've also known a few who have succumb to the virus, though they have underlying conditions that caused their demise.

How is the virus being contained in your area?  For us, it's the usual face mask and social distancing.  Luckily, the only lockdown that happened was when the onset of the pandemic.  Traffic is a lot less stressful, but a lot of things that I used to enjoy are now inaccessible, like group gatherings and such.

Yeah.  I believe durendal is correct!  I believe those who succumb to COVID are those who have a history of inheritate illnesses.  For those who are healthy the affects of COVID appear to be minimal or none.

Note to anyone on this topic. Any kind of "ohh this is not dangerous because of X" nonsense from this point on will see a harsh response.

I care little for Anti-Vaxxers and the likes and there are enough stupid people out there in the world who do not threat this disease with the respect it deserves and do the simple things in life like, basic hygiene and common sense and ware a ****ing mask when out in public!.

I've already lost 2 friends to this drenn, one younger than me. This forum will not be a place of false information.

I have to say, while I understand your passion and agree with it... the use of language makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I thought cussing was not normal here?

Yeah, I've moved the topic to the zone where it should be for such language and the topic itself on a si fi / anime forum.

and yeah I thought the same on cussing... it used to auto correct that... another thing to look into this weekend.

Ok so back in February I had covid.

My entire family got it which is weird cause we all live in separate areas.

How it affected me is the 1st 4 days or so I was fine, barely any issues except I felt a bit tired more often. After the 5thbday I noticed I was constantly getting worse and worse. Like having super bad flu, and my 10th day was the worst. I only lost my taste and smell for half a day, but I was ready to die, I couldn't stand, I was extremely dizzy, I could barely lift my head . I was that bad off. Oh, and I got dumped a day later, lol. So there's that.

What made it worse was my work called and tried to force me to come back to work that day, but my boss is super good and told I stay home till all symptoms are gone.(I work in a hospital)

I dont like covid and I never want it again, and currently the hospital is trying to make the vaccine mandatory for all employees, or we have to be tested twice a week.

On an interesting note, I hurt my back real bad that week tho I had no idea how. Doctors told me that it was due to the constant and horrible strength of coughing I was doing, it dislocated a disc in my spine, so I had to get surgery a month or 2 later. Sounds odd but... there it is.

BTW sully... im sad to report my sister is one of those people... I needed groceries for me and I had to pick up my parents prescription from the store(walmart) so im all decked out in protective gear, mask, gloves what not. Not touching anything im not taking home with me, and not talking to anyone cause.. well... I felt like crap. But im in line and I see my sister and her three kids who were positive as well, no mask no nothing, grabbing everything in sight and talking to people with out 6 ft distance... I was so pissed I felt ashamed of my family. My parents are similar but not that bad. They'll at least wear masks.
