Toku Warrior Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I guess that makes me a god then, lol. I like the new rank descriptions. They may be the same as the old ones but with the kanji added to them they just look nicer for some reason. Nice job bro. Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Sweet !'m a bird! But don't think that means I'm some kind of little crap bird, I'm a twenty foot long half bird half robot falcon that eats people and has laser vision! At least until I move up to cat Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 hmmm.. maybe i should change that to chou.... Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 That's good to know; I was wondering what all of those meant. Thanks for clarifying, Ryuki. Quote
Lyphforse_Guyver Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I'm a grape. My goal is to get to Banana and I can become on of the cheering masses under rule of the great, mighty, flame sword wielding Banana King!!!! Quote
Larz Zahn Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 BK your not just any bird... your a BANANAKING sized bird!!! squaw!!! Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I was a dog, just a bit ago. Some new ranks might have been added since then, but that was what came up when I hit my 600th post. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 i knew that neko was a cat but i never assumed that the other titles had animals and such. of course if i had half a brain i wouldve realized that! Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 some of them were icorrect. we had tou for tiger. should be tora. we had karasu which is crow. but i though bird was better. i put bakuryu, but i thought that since bakuryu isn't actually registering as a word, i changed it to ryuu. I had oukami instead of kami. ichanged insect to fly, I got better words for dust and crumb. and chou.. can mean bird, but it also means butterfly Quote
Larz Zahn Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 ..... im not a butterfly... i rather fierce and scary rather than cute and frail... i dont do cute. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 How about some variety of flesh-eating moth, then. Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Think about it larz, you and I could be two mothras! We could level all of japan in a matter of minutes!!!!! Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 but remember you are safe it is chou that can mean bird and butterfly. you guys are tori. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I think Tokage means lizard. You could add that one on there then someone could think of themselves as Gojira that way. Hey Ryuki, doesn't Byakuu mean white tiger or something like that? Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Well then its mine; you can't defy a king (its against the law you know!) Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 I think Tokage means lizard. You could add that one on there then someone could think of themselves as Gojira that way.Hey Ryuki, doesn't Byakuu mean white tiger or something like that? not sure, where have you heard it? Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 hmmm, the word ryuki used was bakuryu, which is from abaranger and translates as blast dragon. i think the word you mean toku is byako, which does mean white tiger, as in byakoshinken (the japanese name for saba the white rangers sword) Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 oh... interestingly enough... 白狐 byakko means albino/spiritual white fox. Quote
Guest DekaRed Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 that might be the word (you know i am crap at japanese spellings, lol) Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 yeah it probably is, it's not always easy to spell japanese words. I only know the correct spelling because i have the japanese word processor program. Quote
*V Guyver Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 they had character in Tenchu going by that discription. Sort of how they had Gembu the wise and Susaku the red sparrow. Quote
