They could take anyone at all, they would just brainwash them. They would prefer those of good stock to start with. Military background and being athletic would be a plus. They would only use random folks for lab rats, test new forms, a throw-away like Malmot. IMO

My comment is more to what Ryuki said, to give my opinion on why people seem to attack God and those who believe in him: Not to the atheist subject.

I think the attack is more from the idea of unpreventable bad things. Like a good woman/man, making a good life for themselves and family. They get cancer and wither away and die. No fault of their own, just a random bad thing. Could have God saved this pure person? I think the "attack" of faith isn't an attack on God, its more an attack on the mass of shallow followers that preach the word of a all loving God then turn around and show such intolerance for other types of lifestyles and beliefs. I think its a good thing to have faith, as long as it is not used to think they are better then others, a fault of many religious types....not just Christians. I personally don't have it, but I no longer attack it as I did in my younger years. I think that came from folks "preaching" their ideas to me, even if I did ask to hear them.

I was watching Afro Samurai today.

Would he get away with it this time. He's done it several times before and never been caught. He had all the things he needed to get it done, he even had a great place picked out. Gabriel Porter has his name but his friends all called him "Carrot Man" because of his mop of bright red hair. Gabe stood in a nearby alley and watched the events unfold. Small at first, growing bigger and bigger until the whole building was engulfed. Gabriel loved fire. Loved it more then anything else in the world. He wasn't a bad man, he just liked to watch things burn. The wild random action of the flames as it consumed everything in its path. The flickering light bouncing against the nearby buildings. How the night sky turned to day from the bright lights of the fire below. He was in love again. Someone could have picked his pocket or even started a conversation with him. he would have never known. He was oblivious to everything except the chaotic dance of the fire he had started just across the street. So oblivious in fact that he didn't notice the person who was watching him.

That really doesn't mean much. Long distance relationships usually don't last. Give it a couple of months, she's in collage, which means its a time for experimenting/testing the waters. I'm not saying that this necessarily good for you, but "Mr I just rode a train for 6hrs." is more then likely up for a rude awakening. At the same time being friends with her can't hurt, she will hang around other girls, that opens up new chances for you to meet new people. Trust me your young, you got nothing but time. Good luck with whatever path you choose.
