lost unit Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 With one thread on how you think the guyver will end, What happens to the site after with no more chapters in the pipeline where do we move from here. I know we are still redoing books but will the interest still be there? Who will stay and who will move away and if so to what. Will they stop producing figures, how much call would there be for the Guyver? Your thoughts please. Quote
GuyveRAD Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Current top faves are Dragon Ball Super and One Punch Man. Guyver was my gateway into anime in '93-'94 followed by the manga in early 2000s. Will be a tearful goodbye, end of an era when it happens. Quote
Matt Bellamy Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Since I have basically live through this before, it's no real hardship for me. But just because something ends, doesn't mean we don't have to like it anymore. Even when Guyver is over, I will still love talking about it, and introducing people to it. And likely still doing artwork and/or fanfiction of it. ...But I have a lot of other friends, interests and hobbies to keep me busy as well. It doesn't take much for me to pop by the site at least once a day to see if there is any new posts and too try and be helpful in whatever way I can. It's one of the reasons why I have been an Admin on this site since theguyver.net was changed to Japan-Legend. I still gave a shit even when there wasn't new content. And I will continue to. Hell, it's practically a requirement with the rate that Guyver gets released. 1 Quote
Gazham Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 There's no moving on for me. It will always be my first love, as far as anime/manga are concerned. I like to keep a little upto date with new anime and occasionally dabble in manga. But I'll be rereading guyver until the day I die! 1 Quote
Guyver1 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Same for me. I will read it and re read it over and over. It is a passion of mine. I will probably be on the hunt for missing items forever with the prices they go for and the rarity of some of it. I read all types of comics and manga, but this is by far one of my favs. The good thing about the lag time in chapters is that if it continues, hopefully interest will pick up and another anime or even live action movie could be made. Imagine what a live action movie would look like today!! Quote
ROUGE Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 At this rate... Will Guyver even finish... Not sure. I watch tons of anime and television shows at the same time, so I would simply find something else that interests me. It's not as if I'll need one specific series to fill the gap once this one ends lol. 1 Quote

Even if Guyver were to outright stop now the forum would still continue on as would WarriorGuyver.com and my plans would not change for TheGuyver.Net. Pretty much like you, I like hanging around on the forum, I still have a lot of stuff to publish to theGuyver.Net and I still write and draw and work on the fan-fic. That won't change. But I personally don't think Guyver will stop with this current hiatus and will continue. There's something going on we don't yet see, there is too much new merch coming out for the series just to suddenly stop and never continue for no reason which this much new and VERY expensive items coming out. 1 Quote
