I've finished doing 1 of 4 section of story I wanted to add this morning. the most complex to write will be the Guyver 0 one as it will have to meet up with what Matt wrote about Guyver 0 in his first story. Another section will be very short but again important and last but not least will be from the Gen side of the end of Time War. Overall I'm very happy the way the plan is working out.

Sully Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Time War is pretty much finished. Over this weekend and most likely also the next I'll be working on website re-design. This will be the first of many as I bring the site up to date.... So lets see what to expect on the next update. WF-Fic site This section of WG.com will be redesigned completely. Fan-fiction and art will no longer be organised by who wrote / drew it but the series it is based on. The fiction will be devided into 2 sections. 1. Chronicles of the Warrior Guyver 2. Collective Guyver Chronicles (at the moment this is the name I'm toying with for the other fan-fiction stories) Inside this the following fan-fictions will be found: 1. Assassin Guyver 2. Cyber Guyver 3. Flight of an Angel 4. Guyver XT 5. Nova Guyver 6. Warrior Guyver 7. Warrior GuyverC 8. W'Kar 9. Character Stories (Currently only me (Brian) has stories in that) This list will be shortened and characterswho have wrote 2 or less stories will be moved into the Character Stories section. Looking at that list with the next update that would mean.... 1. Flight of an Angel 2. Nova Guyver 3. Warrior Guyver 4. Warrior GuyverC 5. Character stories (But no longer just stories by me) Each of the 5 sections will have art work in it for that section that reflects the characters within it. Over time that means new art, in the mean time depends on what I find this and next weekend. I'm sure Allen for example when he gets an urge of writing will do more W'Kar stories and that will be number 5 then. But I'll not be over doing this section, Assassin Guyver for example will not be getting her own section and will stay in the character stories even if the number goes over 2 stories. Guyver XT depends on Mike's return and wanting to have his character getting his own section. I've yet to decide how art will be devided up. But again it'll not be down too who done what. Data files section will be cleaned up... this is where a LOT of work needs to be done, but mainly my focus will be on the "Creators" secton will be renamed Gen and data files corrected for Time War and new versions uploaded for Warrior Guyver and Gigantic Guyver. There will be some other new stuff too. For the time being the Calendar will be removed. After the rewrites are done though it should make a return. Overall the redesign will follow the 3 click rule.... Basically from the front page it should only take you 3 clicks to find something interesting and what you want within the site.

I think turning your creators into the gen to separate them from the Uranus was one of the best decisions that's been made as it allows complete freedom with them, Since the gen were nearly wiped out at one time, then all that has to be said to equal the guyver manga is no surviving Gen so no warrior project makes things nice and tidy Also like Faye now being a clone of one of Zeugma's tribe and that she was originally going to be the test host for Jason's unit Some much needed character development for Zeugma, Reave, Kron, Guyver 0 and guyver Supreme. The Gen get some nice development, showing their exploration of their new found humanity to help their race survive. As we now by modern times they have become a very powerful race Was great to see all the main warrior projects and how they competed with each other along with the birth of the first life force guyver Keep it Bri now all I need to do is read part 5

In the later stories there is a lot of character development, but it wasn't a consideration at all in my first 4 stories really. it's why 7 days was so hard too do... it reached a point where I had to do more explaining than writing as the old fic's didn't support it like they should. Zygote Guyver is a good example, her characer is really fleshed out in the Assassin story but her use in All Things Change is poor. it doesn't really support it, this time it will.

That and some sort of weird attraction she has for Jason. Faye, along with Zeugam, Kron and Seraph will all get a lot more story before the time of All Things Change is done between now and then. Included in this would be Elera who's story starts off in the Revenge story line (which is primarily a Chronos story, ending with Kron's reawakening in modren times). Faye's character story might also get some more work, though I like the overall pace of that story so don't want it to be anything more than what it is, a short story based on Faye. Most of this development though won't be in Rescue at all, that will be an ACTF v Grakken story only. So overall the plan is working out nicely.

There are 530 HTM files in the WG fic site..... soo simply put updating them all and redesigning the folder structure is taking a LONG time. A lot longer than I planned. But it's coming along. So while I might not get the update ready this weekend at least most of the nasty work is out of the way.

None of the powers have changed, but I've to remove things like "Creator Empire" or correct other things like "After humanity's failure"... The Gen don't care that humanity failed for the Uranus to the Gen humanity was pretty much a success and helped their race back from the brink of extinction. This though takes time to do correctly, so I'll be working away at it. I can't upload the stuff I have done as changing the folder structure of the site would mean most of the links in the template wouldn't work.
Sully Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 Ok some bad news here... I've 2 weekends of house moving to do as I'm bought a house 3 towns over. I'm going to see about converting the reset of the site so it somewhat works. As I just remembered there is a perfect repoduction of the WG-Fic site that will help fill in the old sections. So basically what that means, is with what little time I get between now and Saturday I'm going to basicaly cut out section of the site that are not complete in the new template and find my old under construction animation and put it to use! What that means is the fan-fic will get published soon as I convert stuff so it works. Once real life settles down I'll then fix up the site and update more and more of it in the new template. Note: I've one flaw with the new template... to those of you with netbooks I've not tested the new design with them and might have to do a little rethink there as it most likely won't fit in the screen.
